    Damaged Versace

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. My items were damaged due to a water leak in their unit. All of my furniture and child's furniture was covered in mold due to their faulty equipment, along with several other items that cannot be repaired nor replaced. First issue was that I was informed by the onsite manager that there has been many issues regarding this and that I would need to submit a claim and he would have a supervisor contact me. However once I submitted a claim, that never happened and when I complained and questioned why I hadn't been contacted about this along with any other tenants the story suddenly switched to only 1 other tenant has had this problem which is why they never contacted me nor anyone else. Totally false and he even told me that all the people that have complaints regarding this are on the other side of the property which is why they assumed it wasn't an issue on the opposite end(my building). Let's start with management. They have been extremely cruel and unhelpful. At first they were very kind until I put my foot down and demanded answers. I was then disregarded, cut off, backpedaled on statements, and hung up on. Mike set with me for nearly an hour flirting and making unwanted hits on me while I simply only spoke with him about what to do with my damaged property since I was already intending on moving out and did not want to take molded furniture in my new home, which he then told me to leave in my unit & to wait for an adjuster to contact me about what to do with the items. That never happened and the sexual harassment and unprovoked questioning about my personal life was Very unprofessional. I did not approach him to hear about his private relationship matters, failed marriage & current relationship Status nor did I ask. He then informed me that legally I had 30 days to retrieve my property and if I hadn't gotten everything out by my due date for a new month that he would provide me with a temporary code to retrieve my belongings. That never happened. Instead I was charged a prorated amount for another month including insurance on items that were already destroyed and paid it with receiving little to no help. Imagine that! Now they're recanting on statements & refuse to have a supervisor contact me about this ongoing problem! They are also threatening to charge me extra fees for the items that were extremely expensive and damaged that they told me to leave in the unit because they're in there and they want to hurry and rent to the next victim! They have called several times only to harass me about more payment and offered no logical explanation on why I haven't been able to speak with a higher up or gotten a response about my problem. Lastly the insurance that they have you filing a claim with is completely bogus. They do not answer phone calls or respond to emails & when you are able to reach anyone by phone they say they have no information or association with the insurance company however their number is listed on their claim pamphlet. They only are paid to file initial claims! The "adjusters" phone number has gone straight to voicemail for the past several weeks! They don't even have a business name nor contact information about the insurance company that is supposedly covering you ! Now I am out of thousands of dollars including storage fees, movers, and damaged items that they refuse to offer assistance with. I will be contacting the BBB and will NEVER rent with them again. I suggest you do the same.

    Don't not rent here! Horrible customer service from Nicole and Mike. The property is very clean, but the management is very unprofessional.

    I had a very frustrating and upsetting experience with this U-Haul location…read more I rented a truck yesterday and only needed it for a few hours. The employee mistakenly set my reservation for two days, which I was not made aware of at the time. When I returned the truck the same day, the location was closed. I parked the truck properly, filled the gas exactly as instructed, and dropped the keys in the designated drop box as directed. I attempted multiple times to end the reservation online, but the system would not allow me to complete it. The next day, when I saw I still hadn't been charged, I called the location only to avoid being overcharged. I first spoke to a woman who asked me to hold while she reviewed my situation. Moments later, a man named Manuel took the call and immediately had an aggressive tone. He demanded that I repeat everything and then began yelling at me instead of helping. I calmly explained that I had tried several times to close the reservation online and that's why I was calling. Manuel accused me of not returning the truck, said the reservation was still active, and claimed he didn't even have the keys or the truck--despite the fact that I had returned everything the day before. It was clear he hadn't bothered to check all day. After finally confirming that the keys were there, he continued yelling and speaking to me in a demeaning and condescending way, as if I had done something wrong. I was not calling to argue--I was calling for help. As a customer, and especially as a woman, I felt belittled, disrespected, and intimidated by his behavior. No customer should be spoken to this way for trying to fix an issue caused by the company or its system. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and extremely unprofessional customer service. I will not be returning to this location.

He kept a…read moreprofessional and calm manner to ensure each customer understood their responsibilities of renting a moving truck. During a rush of customers waiting for reservations, he provided efficient time to process check-in in order to satisfy their needs. Would recommend his business for people in local area. Best advice for future customers is be considerate to the worker/manager who has experiences assisting an abundance of customers. You are entrusted to rent trailer / truck with care and cleanliness. He will assist you as much as he can if you do your part as well. I appreciate his hard work and assistance for my family's moving.

I got to the facility, I had a reservation, which by the way I totally recommend that you call, someone can actually check several locations all at one time and give you quotes... I actually originally had a reservation somewhere else, decided it was too small they help me to locate another location with a larger unit. My reservation was for a 10 x 20 space, for some most people it wouldn't have mattered, the ceilings are high to begin with....but it happened to be that the ceiling in one of the spaces just happened to be a slightly slanted ceiling in the back....and I have just really oversized furniture... It happened to be another 10x20 space where the ceiling seemed just slightly taller but even 6 inches could've made a difference of whether my furniture will fit or not... She couldn't reach her regional manager right away, so she tried to reach out to a second manager, and we both patiently waited, but she got the job done to trade storage spaces for me on a weekend when corporate was closed....and I was so pleased!!! I actually want to "recognize" Dulce to management, I am sure that customer service cannot be easy at a facility like this, because it can get really busy and there are a lot of stressed out people! They were also much cleaner than most of the other facilities I had checked out. Jay was also very patient and helpful when showing me all the different storage options they had available.

That was until my brother up and moved out of the unit I had subleased to him without notice. I had minimal time to remove the few large items and boxes of mine he left behind. Fortunately, i received a response from the kind people at Storbox the only day I had left before the land lady was going to have everything junked. I feel terrible for forgetting her name but the very courteous, professional woman at Storbox that greeted me was a real life saver. It was late in the day, they were open for 1 more hour and she was able to go over contract details, storage unit sizes/prices and standard grounds procedures/protocols so efficiently that I was still able to return to my new unit within operating hours and achieve my goal of having all my items safely and securely relocated by the days end. There are multiple storage location options in Pasadena but Storbox was the one to come through in my time of need and I can confidently recommend this location without a doubt.
