Overall a 4.5 out of 5, had to dock them half a point since they have increased the rental fee for the storage unit already. While you can rent a storage unit in person, it's actually easier and cheaper to rent it online. And overall it's been a pretty satisfying ordeal concerning renting the unit and to me imo, and it's in walking distance of my house..it does feel a tad claustrophobic when you are trying to turn around and exit the place. Currently there are like usually 2-4 cars or vehicles parked in the parking areas between some of the units. Beyond that, it appears that they do checks fairly often since our unit and many others have stickers on them, guessing to verify that the lock or unit hasn't been broken into..

She was super friendly and helpful in renting and move-in, and we recently moved out because we no longer need a storage solution and she was equally super friendly and helpful. I recently rented out a storage unit from this location... The staff here are absolutely wonderful! They made the process both quick and easy. They showed me the unit that was reserved for me, a 5x5, slightly inside, but easily accessible. The process was seamless and I enjoyed some entertainment amongst the staff to help keep things fun and loose. This place will definitely stay as my go to spot for a storage unit. read more

I had a great experience at this location. I filled out the online form and in less than 20 mins I had a return call from the manager. We scheduled a time to stop by and fill out the paperwork. He showed me two units to help me decide on the right size. I really liked how their entire sign up process was digital. read more

I inquired about storage space for my RV and was connected with Maria, the assistant manager. She was absolutely professional, took time to explain everything twice (because I asked her to), and answered every one of my questions. In addition, she was just plain warm and welcoming. Unfortunately I need to revise my previous review. We have closed our account with ESS due in part to their constantly increasing their rent. We started at $97 then $119 then $127 lastly at $137 for a 5x10 over as many years. I understand making a profit but a 50% increase in 4 years?!??No thanks! Better off downsizing and removing this cost completely. read more

This is by far the cleanest storage place I've seen. The girl that works the store portion lives onsite which made me feel very comfortable. The little store also had everything I needed last minute to help me pack. The only negative thing I can find to say is that the entrance is right after a stoplight with no turning lane so if you are coming in with a trailer, you slow down that intersection just a bit. Mark is a lifesaver. We had movers on the way and I had us arriving late after they close. Mark finalized the rental over the phone and left a lock for us in the unit. Great customer service! 4 stars simply because these units are outside and not temperature regulated. Very safe though. read more

This is the best storage you could ever rent space from! Jewel is the face of the front desk and she manages it with enthusiasm and cheer! It is always extremely clean - the front parking and yard area, inside the office, and also all of the unit areas inside the gate - the entire lot. I really enjoyed working with Jewel. Although the prices were a little higher than I usually pay, Jewel made the process super easy. The site is really clean, and I feel like the employees are really on my team! The only downfall I would say is that you are forced to purchase the insurance, which ranges from an extra 13-25 per month. So on top of the prices stated online, there is an additional monthly fee. I think they should advertise the price with insurance included, so that customers dont feel like there is a hidden fee. read more

Do not use this Public Storage because they get you in on a really good deal and then raise your rent every three months and I am in a 10 x 10 and I'm almost at $300 in one year and I started off at 170 so proceed at your own risk. Care if you leave in two months and they really don't care if you stay in four years all they care about is the money they get in their pocket and they don't help their customers when the customer reach out to ask for assistance like who expects to get laid off in December.

I asked them to help swap refrigerators as well but we found out one of the refrigerator didn't fit the room at the last minute which caused some problems. We should measure the size before swapping. Overall, I'm happy with their service and will recommend them to other customers.

I had Carlos and his team assemble our European style kitchen cabinets. They were made of finished…read morewood and lacquer cabinets. We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

The cost was reasonable and actually less than I had anticipated it being, the delivery and pickup were at the exact time that was promised, and you can tell from speaking with them....it's just a company run by genuine and very real human beings. At any rate...i could go on and on as Chip and I dove into some pretty great conversations during the drop off and subsequent pickup. But instead of waxing poetic, I'll just say give these guys a ring! If you're in any similar situation to mine...don't bother calling anyone else.

She went above and beyond by ensuring that the unit met my specific needs. It's rare to encounter someone from a storage unit who takes the time to check in and provide updates. Jewel's customer service is truly remarkable. Her genuine enjoyment of her job and her genuine care for her customers shine through in every interaction. Extremely disappointing experience with Extra Space Storage (Alcosta Blvd). Their pricing practices feel like price gouging. After prepaying 14 months for a unit, I was shocked to receive a letter informing me of a 50% rate increase. A moderate increase of 10-15% might be understandable, but doubling the rent is completely unreasonable, especially when the unit size and services remain unchanged. When I reached out to management, I was told this was due to starting with a move-in special and that current rates are higher. However, it hasn't even been two years--just 14 months. This abrupt and steep increase shows no interest in retaining loyal customers and reflects poorly on their business practices. I cannot recommend a company that prioritizes profit over customer loyalty. read more

I am so pleased with my experience renting here. Jewel was extremely helpful with helping me find the right size space to fit all my one bd apartment things in . I picked up a few boxes in the office too & that saved me an extra trip to pick some up on the way home.The whole place was really clean too-inside and out!!the rent was really reasonable too...whew! i felt my things would be very safe here compared to other places i have rented at in the past.
