We paid for the time to figure that out plus one more mover added 45 mins later. They were quick, but clearly, 2 of the 3 movers had little experience and were really not up for the heavy lifting. They rushed through everything and were reluctant to put things anywhere but the garage. To be honest, I did not WANT them bringing more into the house because they were getting careless. In the end, we had A LOT of broken items. We had a number of heirlooms that were shattered, not cracked, shattered. They even managed to completely shatter an entire case of glass jars that were still in their original box, as safe as could be possible. This only could have happened if a stack of boxes fell over in the truck. I moved 4 houses this year already. These were the most inexperienced and least customer focused as well as the most costly yet.

The owners were generally service oriented, wanting to win long-term customers The employees at the location were fine. AJ the owner seems to be pennywise and pound foolish. I hadn't taped up the box and his policy is to charge two dollars for tape. That is clearly his prerogative as a business owner. He got his two dollars of profit from me a now one time customer. My experience made be wonder how UPS vetted their franchise owners -- so that they didn't risk tarnishing their brand. It also made me wonder why Zappos's would use UPS for their returns versus their parent company Amazon's own return system, which is so much more customer oriented. If I choose to use UPS again, it will be a different store, but more likely will pick an alternative

They came to our in Albany to move us to Texas, they did not show up with proper moving containers…read morethat we paid for, they wrapped stuff and put into their own 26ft box truck. Once at the warehouse they then loaded it all into the containers, once the move was done we found many things had been taken apart that was not originally wrapped that way, some stuff was clearly not handled with care and many boxes were smashed. We are still unloading boxes and totes into our new house. They damaged our couches they broke the legs off a desk. Scratched up my tool box, smashed some legs on some other tool boxes as well. So very happy with how they treated our stuff. It was also not great to have the workers smoking weed while at our house. If that's your thing great just don't around me.

I hired Cari for a second time because she was so hardworking and thorough 2 years ago when she organized my guest bedroom and storage area. She absolutely crushed it again, going above and beyond to get my stuff sorted by discard, donate or keep lists. She expertly disassembled bed frames, carefully packed up my fragile items (LOTS of them), and purchased boxes and other moving supplies before she began. Cari donated my chosen items to charity and discarded my rejects, and never appeared judgmental when I absolutely couldn't part with my mom's ancient Guardian Ware roasting pan set, despite my admission that I've never actually used it! She is experienced and understands how hard it is to part with some things, but also will respectfully help you decide if you ask her to. So my not being there wasn't a huge issue in the end, and I felt so relieved hiring Cari to take this on when I couldn't. Her prices are reasonable and she is worth every penny. She also happens to be a great human being, is super friendly, funny and smart! I'm hoping to hire her partner in Boulder to help me organize my new place after my things arrive. My husband and I live on the opposite coast and were unable to be as hands on as we would have liked. Cari showed up and literally took care of EVERYTHING- selling furniture, disposing of things and organizing all the things that my MIL decided to keep.
