Olympia was also very flexible with our timing requirements, which required us to move out one day, have an overnight hold, and then move in late the following day. When we panicked about a week before our move and requested a second truck, Ryan (our sales rep), smoothly saved the day and found additional moving help for us. I was surprised the morning of when the movers showed up even a little bit earlier than the estimated time frame, and even more surprised when after I returned from a few errands they were almost done! The same efficiency occurred for our move-in, and they kindly even rearranged furniture for me. Overall, very positive experience during what is usually a trying time. Highly recommend Olympia!

My move last summer was so dreadful that as a new summer move season approaches, people should…read moreknow. One day was scheduled for packing and late in the afternoon the two packers decided it was the end of their work day, even though there was much more to pack. Their response as they left was, "The movers can finish packing." Outrageous. Olympia sent over two new packers the next day, but I also had to pitch in packing. The loaders were also bad, such as when they dropped a large wooden wall sculpture, breaking off a corner. They didn't tell anyone nor did they retrieve the broken piece for possible reattachment later. The damage wasn't discovered until delivery halfway across the country. The wall sculpture was ruined. There were also problems getting my sofa through doorways. The sofa and front door frame both sustained damage in moving the sofa out of the house. At the destination house I strongly suggested to the movers that the front door be removed prior to bringing in the sofa. They declined to do so and more damage to the sofa occurred as well as breaking off the original doorknob of the 1880 house. Those are some of the worst examples. Between the packers and the loaders, a disheartening amount of damage occurred to my contents, some of them antiques. I had expected, and believed I had paid for, better results. I will say that the move coordinator, Jennifer C., was excellent and worked hard to resolve problems. The moving van driver, Paul S., also clearly wanted to deliver excellent service, but was hobbled by poor helpers. Although their good reviews encouraged me to select Olympia, I had both bad packers and bad loaders. Other people have been luckier. But the outcome of your move shouldn't depend on luck. Also, at the destination, inspect your most valuable items for damage and record it on the Bill of Lading before signing it and returning it to the driver. It will be very difficult to collect for damages if you don't note damage at the time of delivery! One final word of advice: To minimize chances of damage to your biggest furniture, strongly consider removing your entrance doors before the movers arrive. They are very reluctant to do that, from my experience.

My experience with All My Sons Moving (32 Coles Ave, Cherry Hill Township, NJ and All My Sons…read moreCorporate Office in Texas) has been the worst service experience I have ever had, and their public ratings across major platforms reflect exactly why so many customers report similar issues. Across multiple review sites, this company consistently scores poorly: * Google: Approximately 3.9 stars, with thousands of reviews * Yelp: Approximately 1.5-2 stars, with a long history of complaints * Better Business Bureau (BBB): 1.97 stars across more than 1,000 customer reviews, despite being "accredited" These ratings are not a coincidence -- they mirror the exact problems I experienced. Please don't take the chances that I did and use this company. You'll be very sorry. I hired All My Sons for what should have been a simple, professionally handled move within Pennsylvania. Instead, the company sent a crew from their New Jersey branch, and from the moment they arrived, the situation was unacceptable. The movers smelled strongly of weed, and the odor was so overwhelming that it transferred onto my belongings, the moving blankets, and into my home. Despite being quoted $1,500 for a move that originally included far more items than we ultimately needed moved, the crew stalled for hours, took an unreasonable amount of time to get set up, and barely worked. They attempted to charge us $200 per hour for 12 hours to move fewer than ten pieces of furniture and no boxes--time that was inflated entirely due to their own lack of productivity. They even took apart furniture unnecessarily, removing every screw they could find, and then struggled to reassemble anything, which appeared to be a deliberate tactic to keep the clock running. To make matters worse, they forced us to pay immediately before unloading the furniture, even though the job was nowhere near complete and their performance had already been unacceptable. They refused to allow me to inspect my furniture after they brought it in. They were holding my furniture in their truck until I provided the person on the phone with a credit card to pay for the move. By 10 p.m., exhausted and frustrated, we had no choice but to let them leave. My husband and I ended up moving most of the furniture ourselves, unwrapping and assembling items they were supposed to handle. The next day, we had to take two cars and make multiple trips just to move basic items like totes and clothing bags--items we specifically hired them to move. Damage Discovered - In daylight, the true extent of the damage became clear. The movers had: * Drilled holes through three credenzas, including over ten holes on the wrong side of two of them * Split a 500+ lb wooden and marble credenza by placing it on its side on a dolly instead of carrying it properly * Stained my couch * Broken a $1,500 art piece * Scratched $1,200 chairs Their lack of training and care was obvious, and their behavior raised serious concerns about whether they were under the influence while handling our property. Claims Process & Geoff Burgess I filed a claim for nearly $10,000 in damages, providing receipts, photos, and videos--evidence the company was aware of from the moment the damage occurred. Since my move at the end of December, I have been going back and forth with All My Sons for months. It is now March, and they have: * Refused to settle * Refused to explain their employees' behavior * Refused to address the lack of training or drug testing * Refused to replace or compensate me for the extensive damage The claims representative, Geoff Burgess, has been a complete roadblock. He: * Refuses to review any of the material proof * Refuses to provide documentation * Refuses to acknowledge the severity of the damage * Blocks any attempt to escalate the issue I even tried going to his supervisor and to customer service, and no one will do anything. Every path leads back to Geoff, who simply repeats the same scripted denial. Their final response was that their insurance would only cover $644 under "limited liability," and they refused to refund the $1,500 I paid for the move. The local NJ operations manager initially told me he would speak with his partner and call me back. He never did. I have texted him multiple times and left a voicemail with no response except to speak Geoff in claims. The company also refuses to let customers speak directly with their executive team, forcing all communication through an internal division that shields them from accountability. I even tried reaching out on LinkedIn to the chief customer officer of all my sons in their corporate office in Texas. Conclusion - This company's behavior is unacceptable, and their pattern of ignoring customers, denying valid claims, and hiding behind internal processes is exactly why they have low ratings on Google, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had looked more closely at those reviews before hiring them. Don't make this mistake!

The consultation was incredibly detailed -- Marlena took the time to understand not just my space, but my lifestyle, goals, and long-term intentions for how I want my home to function. I'm a very detail-oriented person, and I appreciated how prepared she was and how thoroughly she walked through every area. After the consultation she followed up with clear recommendations, measurements, and a thoughtful plan for how many organizers and how much time would be needed. Everything felt organized and intentional from start to finish. In the first session we decluttered an incredible amount -- my closets were completely overflowing before, and by the end they were transformed. In the second session we were able to organize even more areas than I expected: multiple closets, under the kitchen sink, under the bathroom sink, my bookshelf, and hallway storage. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and creativity. Marlena and Sarah constantly offered smart solutions and product suggestions that made the spaces feel both functional and beautiful. They also bring such positive energy -- they are joyful, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful to work with. The result is that my apartment now feels calmer, more intentional, and much easier to live in. Every day I fall more in love with my home. I can't recommend Marlena and her team enough. If you're considering professional organizing, they are exceptional.

Meetunghouse's form for the request was by FAR the easiest to fill out. On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The packers and movers were two different crews - one worked Thursday afternoon and the other Friday afternoon - which may have contributed to the problem, because the movers were definitely not pleased with the packers. It got to the point towards the end of day 2 where I just told folx to put stuff down because I felt guilty about how hard the move was on them. Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. Not sure how to get around this if you're a person without a car or just want everything moved in one trip, but I'm glad I moved most of the plants myself. Art was handled delicately though!
