Terrible business. Just like what everyone else has said terrible craftsmanship and no attention to detail. I let them use my 2013 mustang to test fit hoods to make sure their molds are still good. Even after test fitting their hoods on my car, the "carbon fiber" hood I received as compensation fit horribly. Even after much adjusting the hood did not sit right and the two bolt holes in the back didn't line up with the factory hood struts (pictured). There are also several dimples in the finish along with the ends of the hood flaring out and almost scraping the fenders. The hood also does not sit flush and does not reuse factory hardware. The bolts provided are significantly smaller and do not include washers(again as pictured). Their carbon fiber hood is actually fiberglass, with a sheet of carbon fiber put over the fiber glass. Not what I was expecting and not stated on their website. When I went to put my compensation hood on my car, I noticed that every bolt for my OEM hood was different. When I let them use my car, all of the OEM bolts were there and now they're all different sizes like they lost the bolts and slapped ones they had laying around on. Thank you to Drew for doing his best to work with me and ordering new OEM hood bolts. Terrible quality especially for a business that has apparently been around for 20 years and for an item costing $2,000. Would not buy from this company or let them use your car. read more

I purchased one of ED'S bumpers for my Challenger. Horrible craftsmanship. The sharp edges around the headlights were sanded down, there was a full 5/8" gap on one side and a 1" gap at the hood. I attempted to return it but they saidbi didn't take the correct pics. After almost two weeks going back and forth, they told me the return had taken too long and I was not getting a refund. Okay, so am I terrible review number what? 100 and something? Tell you what extreme dimensions and business manager Bruce C, I'll give you guys a shot and see if you do the right thing. My father (same last name as me, Mr C) bought a Daytona style spoiler for my Dodge Ram Daytona as an early bday present. He found the product on his doorstep yesterday when he returned from work and I opened it at his house today after we got off of work. The spoiler is cracked in atleast 3 different places and there's a huge chip in it, but not only is it damaged but the quality of this product is nowhere near what you guys advertise. I do bodywork on my truck a lot and I have spent countless hours sanding, bondo, and painting bumpers, fenders, you name it but I'm not a pro. I could've done a way better job rounding the edges out and molding this spoiler! Who do you guys got manufacturing your product? You need someone new or you need to fire the guys making a bad name for the profesionals at your company, if there is any. Either way, my father would like to send it back or destroy it or whatever you guys want, but he wants his money back and I don't disagree with him at all. As bad as I want a spoiler on my truck, I'm not putting that thing on there, and I'm definitely not looking forward to many weekends and nights after work and over a hundred dollars in paint and bondo and sandpaper to fix this thing and make it look halfway decent. So please do the right thing and get back to me in a timely manner and have someone reach out to my father and refund him his money because this is ridiculous. Purchased a body kit for my Porsche Boxster. These kits are more expensive than average and i ASSUMED that because it was more expensive it would be the higher quality kits..its not. In my experience the cheaper kits have more need for modification. The more expensive ones fit better. This kit has no pre drilled holes. In fact where the holes should be is just very thin and fragile fiberglass. The bumper lines are can't get flush with the car and the marker lights don't fit. Below is a picture of how it lines up. I like the look of the kit. But do not recommend anyone buying this. If you do, be prepared for a lot of fiberglass work as it requires more work than the cheaper versions on ebay read more

it was quite the ordeal to do a return. I had to drive two hours to be able to deliver myself. I did this to avoid any issues with shipping it back out. Thank goodness I did because after they took back the part, they brought it back out, saying that there was damage to one of the parts. I never installed this part and was left as it was delivered, yet still, they tried not to take responsibility for it. In the end, I had to talk to the owner, who then had to call and talk to someone else at this location. Definitely check your parts upon receiving. Hopefully you never have to do a return. read more

Honestly I saw the website and thought it was too good to be true everything that I was looking for was way cheaper than other websites. Unfortunately when I was ordering the website was down but of the sales reps Albert and Andrew helped me out along the whole process. They told me my front and rear bumper would be ready the next day. When I got there I just had to fill out a paper with my name and order number and within 5 minutes both of my items were at the loading dock ready for pick up. Unfortunately CarID (also know by Onyx on the BBB) uses the cheapest, laziest shipping freight YRC and the bumper arrived on a rainy where the driver literally left it outside, I don't know who signed for it at this point and bolted. As expected with my luck, there was irreparable damage with the bumper. I contacted CarID and they said they contacted the manufacturer. They then basically told me to pound sand. NOW THE IMPORTANT PART... fast forward a bit and I left a review reflecting my recent experience. The owner from Extreme Dimensions reached out as you see below and got me in touch with a friendly customer service agent named Mac. She was a breeze to work with and she did me right. One star, as there doesn't appear to be an option for zero stars. Total scam, I will never purchase a product from this brand, company or person again. Have absolutely no idea how they get all of the good reviews - all in CA, so maybe they are employees. Discuss... Bought a Hood, and two bumpers for my SL55 AMG. Hood was on backorder, so just had the bumpers delivered. I was pulled in by the price, and was aware of the "will require finishing by a Bodyshop" tagline, so went ahead. I was having a full wrap job, so wasn't too worried about the finish, as they didn't need painting, only smoothing out to give the wrap a good finish. When they arrived, they were totally unusable. Credit to Erica at Illeet Auto Wrap in Austin Texas, she was trying her best to make it work, but the bumpers were totally unusable. "Will require finishing" implies some surface work to be done to be ready to paint ("finishing", right?). However, on inspection, the parts were impossible to fit. The finish was TERRIBLE (gouges, dips, runs, bulges of fibreglass), the shape was totally wrong, gaps were inconsistent (and in some places, there were bulges which meant the part would fit against the body at all), but the biggest problem was there were NO MOUNTING POINTS built into the parts. You know, the places where they fit to the body of the car? So, less "will require finishing", more "will require you to manufacture the structural parts of the bumper". 14 body shops laughed at me when I sent them the pics, only one local shop would take the work on and said that for there to be any strength in the mounts they'd need to be built into the whole part, with extra skins of fibreglass, and quoted me 8-10hrs work for this and essentially re-manufacturing the part shape and edges to fit the car. The cost of the bumpers from Duraflex, plus this work, was WAY over the cost of any of my other options. Also, the additional cost for the wrap shop for my car sitting in there for a month when it should have been a week was embarrassing (they absorbed that, as they are ace). The end of the story? Not even close. I demanded a refund and was told they would charge a 20% restocking fee, they don't pay return shipping, and wouldn't give me details of their shipping company who would take a package that size. They promised to issue a refund though, so I sent at my expense ($500, as oversized), insured, and assumed I'd receive a refund of 80% of my cost. I then chased my refund, as it didn't arrive in my account within 14 days of receipt of the return, as I'd been told it would take, and was told "the package arrived damaged, and the parts were not in a refundable condition", but (get this) the company had SIGNED FOR THE DELIVERY AS ACCEPTABLE, so I couldn't use my shipping insurance, as the goods were officially received in good order (despite Extreme Dimensions stating VERY CLEARLY on their website that if you sign for the goods without inspection you, the customer, has no recourse - so they're not following their own advice). Oh, and they discard the non-refundable goods after 5 days if THEY haven't heard from YOU, so when I contacted them 14 days later to ask about the refund they'd already thrown out the 'unreturnable' parts, so they're completely uninspectable. The Freight company, FreightCenter, took pity on me and refunded me their charges, but as it stands I have a car with the original bumpers, wrapped, and nearly 6 months wasted. Oh, and I bought the bumpers on a payment plan which I still had to pay the interest on as the company didn't accept the return. So I'm out of pocket more than a decent set of bumpers would have cost me. Total Scam, avoid like the plague.... read more

Do not purchase anything from this company. I purchased a front bumper cover from them through a retail distributor. It took them over a month to fabricate the item and when it arrived it was not even close to properly fitting my car. Through the retail distributor I sent several pictures that indisputably showed that the bumper was defective. It took Extreme Dimensions weeks to review my complaint and when they finally did they refused to admit that what they sent me was defective. Despite making such a low quality item, they refused to issue a refund. I have since filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The company appears to not care if they are reported to the Better Business Bureau. This is probably due to the fact that they have so many complaints filed against them, that they are used to it. read more

I know what you're thinking... the prices are so low and the body kits in the pictures look so great.. How could I not buy these parts for my car when I can't afford anything else? STOP! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from Extreme Dimensions or Duraflex. Their parts are poorly made, it will cost you 2-3x the cost of the parts just to get a good body shop to fit them on your car, and their customer service is terrible. Here's a summary of everything that happened to me when buying a front bumper, rear bumper, and side skirts for my 1993 Toyota Supra: - When I went to pick everything up at the Extreme Dimensions warehouse in Fullerton, I had to get multiple parts brought out to me because each piece was cracked. (If these cheap fiber glass parts are all breaking just when being shipped and stored at their warehouse, they cannot be trusted on your car.) - I was told by the same guy who brought the parts out to me at the warehouse that if there was an issue with installing the kits that I would be reimbursed. - After having a 5-star-rated local body shop on Yelp put the bumpers and skirts on the car, they took pictures and confirmed that the quality was terrible and it would be an extra $1,000 to make the body kit work on my Supra because of how off the alignment was. - When I tried to login to the Duraflex website to file a claim, my account would not work and I needed to contact their Live Chat to have them correct the issue on their end. - After submitting claims with multiple pictures clearly showing the issues, I did not hear back from their customer service for over a month. - After finally calling in myself I was told I would be called back right away and of course wasn't. - When finally getting a call back from Suzie, she explained to me that I would likely not get any money back due to the pictures not measuring the exact length of gaps in the obvious pictures the body shop took. - When politely telling Suzie that I would be sharing my experience with others online because of how obvious the fitment problems were, I was hung up on. - After being told that my clear pictures were not good enough and that I would need to provide measurements of how much the alignment of the parts was off, I sent another email with exact measurements and pictures, yet still never heard back. Bottom line: Unless you have a cheap car that you don't care about, STAY AWAY FROM EXTREME DIMENSIONS AND DURAFLEX! Even if you think you're going to save money with their deals, you'll end up paying twice what you think when you need extra body work just to make their low quality wavy parts fit correctly on your car. read more

Excellent product. I have had one of their carbon fiber hoods for four years now. It is still there beautiful every day I picked it up. In addition it has the added benefit of having a set of reverse air inlets on each side. 3 on each side. With the proper cooling, I cut out the vent a little bit and I am using them now with a little modification to the underside of the hood, I have mounted to 10 inch engine bay fans for cooling my alternator battery and engine bay. I wouldn't of been able to do this otherwise. But because of this great hood it was a possibility. It's amazing that the quality put into this hood has lasted this long and has those kind of diminishing in the future. read more

I ordered the hood and a week and a couple days it arrived. The hood was in immaculate condition. It looks so stunning. The only complaint I have to bring up is that one of the hinge bolts was slightly off point. But I used a Dremel tool and fixed that no problem. The latch hole was also a little too far back. But again, a Dremel fixed that up with no problem. When you buy a hood you can't expect to just bolt it on and take it for a spin. There's always a little prep you have to do to get it just right. I recommend you shop with ED, ask for Matt Servin. He fixed me up and gave me a hell of a discount. Thanks ED!! Update 10/12/17: This hood in the picture is my first hood from ED. One week later the clear coat started peeling off. Covered by warranty. Sent a second one. Came busted. Third one. Looks amazing. Doesn't fit right. Now they refuse to cover this with the warranty. I was concerned at first as i read mixed reviews online, but so happy i decided to go with them. I'm really into cars and had a horrible experience buying a body kit for my bmw several years ago from VIS Racing. Extremely do not recommend buying from this company, I purchased a carbon trunk for my 2002 Subaru wrx and once installed I had the worst fitment ever with shipping damages they wouldn't claim was them. After I contact the company they tell me I could send the product back for a full refund. Let alone I payed 800 for the product then 150 for shipping. I then have to pay 330 dollars to ship it back and possibly get a refund. And once it arrives back they claim the product has been been damaged and cannot refund me for a product that never fit from the start. I honestly dont know who to leave this review for... either Extreme Dimensions or Express Aero Kits (EAK is lucky I cant leave lengthy reviews on eBay) so i'm going to be nice and leave 3 stars since I cant do 2.5 You know whats Extreme? The damn wait time. I ordered from EAK off eBay for a Carbon Creations front lip since pickup option was available (would've had to pay $100 extra to have it shipped) I made the purchase on May 12. After completing the payment, I got a message basically saying "hey sorry, its back-ordered for another 5 weeks or so. If you wait, we'll give you 5% refund for the hassle. If not, we'll cancel and give you a refund" Fine, i'll wait because I really liked the look of that certain lip. Welp, def. didnt get the 5% refund. I also got an email from EAK saying my order was ready and to called ED?? So I did. Turns out it was one of those automated emails which I dont understand why that even exists when ordering car parts. ED said my order will be in June 30th - July 1st. So I wait... June 30th rolls around. I msg'd EAK on eBay asking for status. Their response was "I just contacted the manufacturer and they are about 4-5 days away from receiving their shipment. Once it comes in, we'll notify when it's ready for pickup." I checked ED's website that day (June 30th) and saw the status for that certain lip was IN STOCK. Solid company to do business with. I picked everything up from their warehouse in person. They took the time and helped me fit everything into my van which was a challenge as you could imagine. Overall was in and out in about 20 minutes which was great. Their 50mm rear over fenders fit better than my friend's DMAX over fenders. The rest of the body kit fits with just some trimming and/or heat. This is the standard way FRP body kits fit and I think a lot of people don't realize that when before buying FRP kits and end up blaming the company but that's just FRP for you. Overall you really can't beat them for the price. In drifting we constantly smash up body panels and to have a budget friendly company like Extreme Dimensions is awesome. Do NOT order from here, I spent $600+ and none of the parts fit, were all very cheap quality, and had tons of holes, defects, waves etc. I requested a return request over a week ago and have not gotten a response, the supplier I ordered through, has reached out and they still haven't even responded to them. The parts were so bad the body shop I took them to to install would not even bother because they were so bad, they said I need to return them and get my money back for such bad products. DON'T BUY FROM HERE I ordered a vgr 2011 genesis coupe bumper from them. To be completely honest, it's a piece shit. 80% percent of the bumper doesn't fit. I had a guy I know with 40 plus year of experience with car and fiberglass work. He says it going to cost me about 1,000 dollars of work, Materials, and tools just to get it to fix and painted.
