Drove 40 minutes here for a will call pickup of Lexus is350 duraflex w-1 rear lip. Took it to a bodyshop and realized there were no cutouts with mesh insert. Contacted customer service and got response from victor " You should not have to buy the mesh it should have came with it. What we can do is have you come down and we can supply the mesh grille for you. Let me know when you will come and I will make sure it is ready." WTH!!! They made the mistake but expect me to drive over there so they "supply" me the remainder Hahaha. Bought a carbon fiber hood through a reseller and was a nightmare!!! The hood has horrible fitment issues. It also came broken and had to be repaired since they don't accept returns. The packaging for shipment is not sufficient to make cross country journeys. Anyway, I took it to a professional body shop to be installed and he spent hours trying to adjust the hood and different body panels to make it fit. He even had to shave and re-fiberglass some areas on the sides/back and the fit is still really bad. After all the money I paid to make this hood work what seemed like a bargain was not. I could have spent a little more and gone with a higher quality hood and had far fewer problems, spent less and had a better overall product. Which is what I suggest to you.... Can't say much about their other stuff but stay far away from their hoods!! read more

This is a quick review of the company where I bought my M1 Speed kit for my RX-8. I purchased the kit someplace else, but this review is for the company and their service in answering my concerns. Not sure what the experience level is for the other reviewers, but I've been fixing up my cars for the last 14+ years. I've had carbon parts, fiberglass parts, urethane parts, you name it. I've tried other brands, and spent a ton of money on my cars in the past. After doing some research on this particular company, I decided I'd use their 'Duraflex' brand of fiberglass parts. I did so because I wanted to save a bit of money, and wanted to make some adjustments to my parts. Because of having two little kids as part of my family now, I couldn't splurge on everything, and had to be really picky on where my money went. This was an ideal solution for my body kit option. Some rough numbers for those that want to fix up their cars. Kit - Roughly $800 + $300 for wing Body shop with custom work - $1300. When my shop called in and said the parts arrived and would begin installing the parts, I couldn't wait for the finish product. I had checked with ED before purchasing whether the Duraflex parts would be able to modify... because I wanted to change things up in the front, to make some personal cut outs. They assured me that this would be possible, and my shop should be able to do the work. Because I've used this particular body shop before, I knew they can work with fiberglass parts... but I've made the mistake in the past of taking parts to shops that don't do body kits, and they tried blaming it on the part. So onward with the project. After a week of painting and installing the parts, my car turned out nicely. There were some minor issues which my shop said it was easy to remedy, but the fitment was easy enough. This was something I expected. When it came time to install the Carbon wing I had bought, that's when there was some problems. I was nervous at first because it was one of the more expensive parts to buy. I told the shop, and they said they wouldn't be able to install the wing properly because the holes didn't line up. I contacted ED, and spoke to one of their customer service people, and they explained that I would need to send some pictures just to make sure what the problem was, and see if there were anything that can be done before a replacement can be sent. I told my shop to get the pictures taken so I can get this taken care of. I've read other reviewers before and this was the step that I was worried about. I got the pictures, sent them over, and that's when the lightbulb moment happened. The customer service person knew immediately my installer had not made the adjustments for the wing, and was lining up the wing improperly. (I was a bit peeved by the shop, but can understand the issue). After explaining to me what needed to be done, I asked them if it would be possible to talk to my shop about this, which they helped me out too. In the end, my shop told me that they had thought I wanted the wing installed in the same exact spot.. which I didn't.. I wanted it to be moved further back, and fill in the holes. The wing and the kit all turned out nicely, and I'm glad it wasn't much of a hassle in the end. Note: For the other reviewers it seems like this was their first project. I know I had some worries in the past because I didn't know what I was getting myself into. But the product and the support ED had was spot on. I've dealt with companies where there was absolutely no one to talk to, and not to bad mouth another brand, but they told me tough luck when I explained something didn't fit right. ED made sure it was done correctly, and talked the steps that needed to fit the part correctly. Also, this type of project really depends on the body shops background on whether they know what to do. So I'd recommend checking the shops history if you do not know the shop personally. Luckily I've used my shop in the past and I knew that they did cars for movies, so they were solid in making custom work for my car. read more

A friend referred me to this place for a new front bumper when I got into a minor fender bender. When I arrived the receptionist was very friendly and helped me view a few options. I settled on their Vaero C63 Look. The staff was so helpful and informative that I ended up purchasing the entire conversion for my car. I picked up the parts the next day and dropped my car to the body shop yesterday. The body shop called me this morning to tell me they put the kit on with no problems and that it was one of the easiest installs they've ever had. Purchased a front bumper cover and side skirts for my '06 Dodge Magnum and had them installed by Orange County Collision whom they (E.D.) recommended. At the same time, I had O.C. Coll. install a new hood from TruFiber and a pair of projector headlights. Took about a month in the shop before I got the wagon back and everything looked pretty good. However, within a month or so, the front cover started to fail. The horizontal surfaces under the headlights started to curl up to vertical and now don't fit at all. Worse is that all of the convex and flat surfaces have sunk to concave shapes. The problem I see is that the material is entirely too thin and I assume that the heat from the sun has now destroyed the part completely. I have not had the time as yet to return the wagon to the shop but will be doing soon as possible. I've taken pictures which I will be sending to E.D. with a request for a new part with some thickness to it or, if the cannot provide that, a refund. Re: the side skirts...I ordered them after seeing their photos of them on line where they look pretty good. However, the pics show a low angle side view but when they're installed, they stick out about an inch from the vertical surface of the doors...sort of like running boards. I would have preferred that they were flush with the vertical surface of the doors. Problem now is that I'm out all of the cost of removing the original front bumper cover and prepping, painting and installing the E.D. part which now has to be removed and trashed. I was contemplating using their rear valance on the wagon but not now. I liked the styling of their front cover but I'll probably have to settle for something else. Maybe a modified R/T S8 with a lip. Anyway, this is a "Buyer Beware" signal if you have a Magnum and are thinking of using E.D.'s front bumper cover. read more

Carbon Fiber pieces look amazing but like most other people I've read have said, the clear coat is pretty bad and will begin to bubble and needs to be refinished. My item lasted about 30 days before 2 defects began to form from under the clear coat. Keep that in mind when ordering a $500 + piece of carbon fiber from them. They will attempt to offer you some compensation but it's your loss to remove the part and have it at a shop for several days. Hope you have the original near!! I am getting quotes to see if what they offered will even cover the strip and re-finish of the piece. I will update this review once it's complete. Customer service was ok i suppose, except I filed a claim on 3/24 and finally got an answer on 4/5 about what they will offer me and yet I read they replaced a guys hood just for scratches!! I ordered my 4runner 4x4 with no hood scoop because of the glare issues the stock hood has. But I'm missing the look of a hood scoop. One solution was to paint or place vinyl on a OEM hood, but it's over 1k! The Duraflex option is lighter and easier on my wallet. Provides a hood scoop and even offers a carbon hood option. It's always good to have tons of options when shopping for parts for your car. I ended up ordering the hood, Installation was a breeze and fitment was about 90%. Body shop made some corrections, but it was nothing too hard for them to handle. Super satisfied with the quality, fitment, and price! read more

Don't buy their carbon fibre dri tech circuit hood for a 5th gen Camaro, as I did. There is no accommodation on the underside of the hood at the area of the catch for the safety latch to recess up into the hood. I took this to a local body shop that deals with a lot of fiberglass and carbon fibre installs. They attempted to modify the hood so it would latch closed, but were unsuccessful without compromising the structual integrity of the hood. When I contacted ED with pictures showing what the problem was, Andrew's response was "You put the holes in the wrong spot".......nowhere on ED's website does it tell you you'll have to put holes in their hood. this tells me this is a known problem and should be re engineered so no holes are needed. As you can guess Extreme Dimensions wants to pass this problem to us the customer. I just want to thank them for the $1,000 paperweight/POS that my trash guys get to haul away! read more

I 100% agree with many other people, Stay Away from Carbon Creation (Extreme dimension) hoods. First they state that you must inspect the delivery, while the delivery guys are there, to see if there are any damages. In my case, I had to meet the freight truck out on the road, because they couldn't get up my driveway. I opened the box and unwrapped the hood and from what I could see was there was no freight damage that I could see, so I sign for the product and take it to my shop. Next, under the lights I notice, spyder cracks on the tight corners, which just was not visible when looking at it out on the road. I called Carid and Carbon Creations (Extreme Dimensions) and told them about this and at first they stated they would process the replacement claim, but then I get back from them, that since I didn't sign "Received Damaged" they will not replace the hood. I will post an update on what happens, but I'm going to fight this, as it looks like this is a ploy they use to get your money and send you crap (this hood was not damaged, its a manufactures defect), and then you are left holding a $1100 dollar piece of crap. If you are going to purchase anything from them, make sure and write "Received Damaged" on the shipping receipt, even if its not, because they will use this loop hole to get out of replacing the product, that you deserve, when you pay top dollar for their product. read more

I have tried countless times to contact and email them to find out how i can get my money back, but no one knows anything.
