Dishonest - I don't normally leave reviews, but seriously, listen to the 2.5 rating they already have. I chatted with Bobby through Facebook looking at a Honda crv, the photos were great and the car really was clean and well taken care of on the interior BUT they had is listen for 170k miles when in reality was was 194k which is 20k miles more and it wasn't an old listing which means they knew the miles and weren't honest. They also stated "NO RUST" sure there wasn't much rust on the exterior body but the undercarriage was completely full of rust and had holes. Buyer Beware: I bought a 2007 Toyota Tundra TRD Off Road from them a couple of months ago and it sat for a month before I actually got to drive it. During the test ride the question for the truck is the transmission, and I was told the transmission was drained and refilled. I was assured they did all the fluids. There is no way to check the transmission fluid because it's a "fill to spill" transmission. My transmission was missing 4 Qts of transmission fluid and I drove over 1K miles without 4 qts of transmission fluid. I reached out and asked if they knew about this and one of the employees assured me that his cousin would call me on Monday, that was 2 weeks ago..... Be careful with these guys because they may cost you a new transmission or worse. read more

Secondly, they failed to report my car trade on their documents which in turn cost me more money on taxes. They repeatedly threaten to repossess my car, which included harassing me at work even though I have not missed a payment. When asked simple questions in regard to my account they blocked my calls. They refuse to give me a detailed statement since the numbers they have are completely made up and do not match what is on the Bill of Sale. BAD people doing BAD business. If you look at the reviews you can see that dealing with this place is a gamble. I gambled and lost. I left a deposit on a truck that was not what they said it was and they will not return my deposit. The GMC Canyon was supposed to be a dealer trade-in with a clean title. According to the Carfax it was sold at an auction in Vermont after not passing inspection and has a rebuilt title. I have tried to get my money back but they just keep giving me the run around or just don't answer any calls or text. They sell most of their vehicles on Craigslist or Facebook. They don't seem to care about bad reviews, there are plenty of them. To stop them from scamming other people they have to stop selling cars. The best way to do that is flag any posts on Craigslist and report them to Facebook. On Craigslist they post under the name James, Jim, Jimmy or JR. Use phone numbers 321-458-5699, 321-501-1412. On Facebook they are currently posting vehicles under the name John Roby, before that was Bobby Parella and before that was George . You can also report them to the state, if they get enough complaints they will lose their dealers license. This can be done by filling out a form at www.ftc.gov/complaint or www.myfloridalegal.com. They put 180,000 miles in ad, and the car had over 200,000 -James told us car would be ready to pick up the day after purchase, he told us to come back around 6. We waited 4 hours in cocoa beach, went to get car and the whole shop was closed!!! No communication from them telling us not to come. -On the 9th day of going back and forth with them lying and saying the car would be ready the next day, we asked James, when will the car be ready, he stated that it's not a McDonald's drive-through. - he said he would call us when the car is ready. Now it has been two weeks and we still don't have our vehicle - He didn't want to deal with us anymore, so he gave us his brothers number and told us his brother would take care of the situation. BEWARE. James & James jr Thistle are lying scam artist without an ounce of dignity or self respect. They tried to sell me a car which was advertised as a rebuilt titled car in excellent condition. I drove close to 4 hours and when I got there I was lied to and scammed by the son and father to the point that I had to call the cops because I opened the title envelope and looked at the title which they buried under a bunch of worthless paperwork to hide the fact and seen that it was a salvage certificate meaning the car couldn't be registered only to be used for parts. On top of everything else the cars transmission was blown. I demanded my money which was sitting on the dining room table since I didn't drive the car anywhere or take it off their property figuring that this wasn't a legit transaction since we didn't sign or exchange any paperwork and the son ran in the house and locked the door. I then called the cops to have this on record and explain the situation and they told me legally they couldn't arrest him at that point but they would come to court on my behalf cause clearly he stole money and scammed me. I didn't know who these people were then but once I looked them up and found out they have been doing this for years and had to change their business name from "Cavier cars" to the current name cause of lawsuits and pressure from the better business bureau I was very upset with myself for not inquiring more to who I was dealing with. I can't go into how abusive he was toward his wife and kid while I was there and how uncomfortable it made us and how disgusting his house was with dog and cat feces all over everything and everywhere to the point that my girl wanted to call child protective services and get his girl and child into a shelter to save them from this clearly abusive man. They then proceeded to tell me I could still go look at it "right down the road". This place is shady. I drove two hours on a Tuesday to buy the car. When I got there it was filthy which was not how it was represented on the pictures. Since I really wanted the car Jim promised me it would all be cleaned and ready by Friday. He wanted to take me out and test drive it that day but something he said was "minor" was wrong with it that needed repair first. But I gave them a chance because everyone was being all nice and I left a REFUNDABLE $1000 deposit in money orders which is as good as cash. Saturday morning I drove back two hours to pick up the car with my husband ready to impress him, the inside looked the same, filthy. The mechanic started it up and there was a loud noise coming from the engine. Needless to say I was embarrassed and upset and my husband and I just wanted my deposit back. Jim was not there so I spoke with him over the phone and he gave me an excuse about him having family issues and even though the car looked the same he had been working so hard on repairs ( for 3 days on something that was MINOR???). I asked for my REFUNDABLE deposit back and he threatened "I don't like your tone and really don't have to give anything back"!! Really??? At the end of it all his more reasonable son wrote me a check but the threat alone to keep my money when they did not do what they said would be done was absurd. My husband (a disabled Veteran and also a senior citizen) drove 5 hours to purchase a truck from this dealership based on an add on craigslist. He was told at time of purchase a minor repair ($25-$100) was needed. The next day he got an estimate from a reputable local mechanic of $1,000. or more for the repair. He immediately called the salesperson (Jim) and they arranged for a different truck to be delivered the following day. Five days later after numerous calls another truck was finally delivered. HOWEVER the agreed upon hitch was NOT attached or provided, there was NO registration paperwork and NO temporary tag was provided. There are also a large number of minor repairs needed. We now have a $3180. lawn ornament. We are paying insurance for a truck we can't drive. Again after numerous calls to Jim my DISABLED husband was promised the hitch and temporary tag would be sent the next day. We are still waiting. We are currently involved with organizations who provide legal assistance for both senior citizens and disabled Veterans to resolve this situation. I can not recommend strongly enough AGAINST using this dealership. read more

(needed a whole engine computer, alternator, lugnuts and battery) and signed a contract with jonathan thistle and james thistle to return the vehicle for a refund that was supposed to be given back to them within 30 days or less. its been over 30 days and these men have the car and the money and received the car back with repairs done and paid for after failing to come through with paying for the repairs like they claiked they would) the family paid for repairs on the car after jonathan and jim stopped answering their phone while the family was at the mercedes repair shop!! trying to get their money back has been like pulling teeth and jim and jonathan are both rolling around in brand new mercedes benz' and $600k house paid for by defrauding many others. countless reviews, lawsuits, blogs about this company and their schemes- these positive reviews are lies. they do not care about taking your money but are quick to call the police to keep you away from their shop when you try to address them about your complaints. as of today the agreement to provide the family with a full refund has not been fulfilled and jonathan stated they will give the family $1,000 and stated "thats it." really!? thats it?! but they were paid $7000 cash for the car that they never got to drive and for the broken car they gave back to you! they change attitudes very quickly as if they are untouchable. doing fraud will only get you so far before it catches up to you. i have had many conversations with one of their own former salesmen who quit after the pressure was placed on him about the shady practices and even he said he was unaware the titles were salvaged. this salesman by the way used a fake name on facebook marketplace- they must be shut down asap. so much more to disclose but will leave that to the lawyers who will be helping us get rid of these con artists. both of them will get to a point where you cant shut down and keep reopening your fraud business under different family members' names. the problem here is that theyve defrauded consumers who arent financially in a position to push lawsuits or push for investigators to assess whats truly going on here. again- stay far away from here and find a credible dealership or you will be stuck reading the lawsuits and reviews when its too late. they have told this family to kiss their a** about returning their money and revert the responsibility of wrongdoing on their part, by making it seem like they dont want to deal with them beacuse they have a "poor attitude." i think anyone who has been lied to, scammed and has to practically beg someone for $7000 thats owed to them because they refuse to cooperate would have a "poor attitude" towards them. they are on the attorney general and the fl dhsmv radar for fraudulent and deceitful consumer practices. stay away. read more
