Decent price, staff was nice! First time paint balling and they put us with other beginners. Rounds were 10 mins each with a short break inbetween each rounds. Cool park, Poor staff You can tell the refs dont wanna be there, their attitude is horrible. They dont care about the games at all, and put zero percent into anything they do all day. At other parks when they have large groups they usually split us up to make the game more enjoyable, But here you run 12 v 12s all day long. The ref on sunday stopped making teams after the first couple of games and told us to split ourselves. One of the worst experiences ive had paintballing. Im going to start make the drive to sac instead of geting refs that dont wanna be there and think their pro painballers. read more

Been there on multiple occasions, rental gears pretty lit but accuracys dog shit from afar. Feel like because of the guns being so used by everyone on the weekends they just go out easier. I honestly don't know anything about paintballing and this was my first time, ever, so my apologies for a lack of paintballing knowledge and terminology. We arrived here around noon with 10 people in our group. We didn't make any reservations, but were accommodated to in a hospitable manner by a friendly lady at their booth. We signed waiver forms and after a few minutes of waiting, grabbing a table, and checking out the games that were in session, we were finally able to pay ($25 for half day), and get our gear. FYI, if you're a girl, you get a padded vest for no charge. Score! Anyway, got our gear, loaded our paintballs and were sent over to near the field to get the safety pep talk. Afterward, we played a game in their largest field with everyone else who was in the park with us (sorry, can't remember the term) which was super intense for my first game. My team lost. The rest of the day, my group of 10 played our own personal game of speedball in another part of their field. We played a few rounds and referees were on hand to help regulate and enforce rules. There's food on site, but nothing too special, so it's highly recommended to bring your own. Also, their portable potty is a mess. And for those of you wondering, it's extremely less paintful to get hit in the face with a paintball (with a mask on, of course), than on your butt, arm, hand, or legs. Trust me. read more

But if you are a new player and want a challenge you can always jump in with advanced players also. I've been playing here for years and always have a great time. I go about once a month, Great staff and reffs. Plus there is always a good group of regulars to play with and against. Even if you have never played before there is always someone to help you get the hang of it and. I usually show up alone, but had no trouble finding someone to team up with when I was still a beginner. Also many folks like myself are always willing to help with tips and minor gun repairs. My son invited two good friends to celebrate his birthday at the Paintball Park. If I was to do it all over again, I would have bought the half day pass. One thing you don't think about when booking is how the cost of the ammo adds up. Additionally, I didn't realize there were "extras" that the kids would have the option of purchasing. In he future, I would have each person pay for their own extra's. Additionally, it can make for a very long day...they were quite tired at the end. Had my sons birthday party here. The kids had fun but I had to make sure we watched all our items that were on our tables since random people kept trying to take our party food and items. I spent a lot of money there since the boys were going through paintballs quick. That night when I got home, I realized my car had been hit. It was too late to call extreme paintball so I called in the morning. When I told them what happened, they knew exactly what car I have, where it was parked and that the vehicle that hit me was a white truck with a lady driving. They said that they saw the lady peeling out and throwing up dirt but didn't bother to go check out what was going on. To me, they have enough people working there to go check to make sure vehicles are getting messed up by this person...especially when she told me that she saw this happening and so did another worker! I asked if I could do a posting on their Facebook page to see if anyone else saw anything and she said no. I would think that they would want to do anything possible to help me find who hit my BRAND NEW VEHICLE! But NO! So, for now on, I will take my business elsewhere! read more

Great place for paintballin. I would expect it to be considering it's owned by the legendary pro paintballer himself Rich Telford. On occasion you'll can watch the pros practice right there at the park. I've met Thomas Taylor a few times there. It's ran very well and safety is priority. Now they have plat master games for the little ones. Great place to go where everyone shares the same love for paintball. read more

My second time paintballing. The first time I went to Vacaville and loved it!!!! This time we tried Modesto. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short. The paintball field was really cool. They had lots of wooden structures and some rocky terrain to climb through. But unfortunately, the company was poorly staffed. Even though there were dozens of people in orange shirts (staff), there were very few refs to officiate/handle the crowds. Each game consisted of 40+ people shooting at each other aimlessly (no pun intended). This wore off really quickly. The last time I played (in Vacaville), the staff set up games of 8 v. 8 - which required a lot more strategy...and proved a lot more fun. But in Modesto, the staff didn't organize any games, nor did they seem too interested in the players. The worst though, were the 20 minute intervals between the games. Instead of running the games back-to-back, it seemed like after each game, the refs took 15 minute breaks. We spent a lot of time waiting around for the next match to start. Also, the checkout staff seemed a bit overzealous. When we handed in our equipment, they inspected everything so closely...almost looking to bill us for a piece of equipment not turned back in. read more

Had my son's 10th birthday party there. Great time for all!! Had plenty of space on the reserved tables, they provided table covers and they are well shaded. We played SplatMaster and not one kid complained of pain. Great way to introduce the younger kids. We had a private party of 15 players and they were able to get in 3 rounds of play. Bring lots of water since they come in a couple of time to clean guns and refill, while the kids wait they are THIRST & HUNGRY! We brought picnic lunch but you can also order Papa John's pizza for convenience. Maybe next time! Little pricy for a kid's party but at least they are outside and running around getting some exercise. They allowed my youngest to play even though he had broke his ankle 4 days before. Carried him to the field and let him shoot away!! We will be back without a doubt..........they are hooked! read more

Today we celebrated my sons birthday. There were 10 children from age 8-12. Mikey and Johnny were the referees with the kids. They had a wonderful time. Everything was so easy from check in to check out and the party area. The kids had a blast and I would recommend this to anyone with kids. The splat balls are softer for smaller kids, but they still had the feel of the competition. I was able to go out on the field and watch and take pictures and video. This place was great! We had a bachelor party this past weekend, group of 10, and this place welcomed us like family. Reasonably priced, clean equipment (until we played of course), and Arisa (hope I spelled her name right) was very friendly. She interacted with all of us, made us feel involved and made sure we knew what we were doing. This was my second time being at this park, and this time around was much better than my first, which was about 3 years ago. The park and staff is great, hours are ok but the hourly structure is off I arrived at 11:00 AM and had to pay full price or wait until 12:30 PM to pay half a day rate. It should be timed from the time you get there that way not everyone is in line checking out equipment. More options would be great. read more
