This has to be the best med spa around! Dr Chang is professional and Dr Hsiao is warm and welcoming. They work in synergy and really provide honest, realistic expectations. Most med spas focus on sales and upselling but I did not feel that way at all here. I felt like I was getting professional medical care. Most places have nurses operating the lasers, and nothing wrong with that at all. I just felt more comfortable knowing a knowledgeable doctor was on the other side of the laser. Picoway has many tips available and before starting a new tip Dr Chang would describe what is happening next, what to expect as far as pain level, and what the tip does. He checks in with you on how you are feeling before proceeding and continuing with treatment. Post procedure care was also top notch. Everything they described may potentially happen did happen. I did see initial darkening of spots, bumps and itchiness etc. for which they had all prepared me for ahead of time and provided me with steroids and creams to combat. What I loved most was the ZO hydrating cream they provided me with post treatment! It was such a moisturizing calming cream that provided substantial barrier. If you are looking for a trustworthy establishment for skincare- you've found it. Dr. Chang and Dr. Hsiao are amazing. They're also a great team. I had 3 sessions of the aqua gold treatment with specific serum cocktails targeting my concerns, also using products that they recommended, I can say now I have so much less breakouts and the pore size is visibly smaller. I had a couple wonderful experiences at Eye Candy a few weeks ago after getting Botox and my first laser tattoo removal session. I was really nervous going in to get Botox but Dr Chang was comforting, knowledgeable, kind and honest. The results were amazing, my face looks so natural. All the fine lines in my forehead, crows feet and between my brows are gone. I don't look frozen at all which is exactly what I wanted. He did such a great job that I came back and decided to get my tattoo removed. He informed me it will take several sessions to completely remove the tattoo. The procedure was mildly painful but he did use numbing cream before and that helped a lot. It's been a few weeks and so far the results look promising. I also did a skin analysis with Dr Hsiao. She was also very knowledgeable, sweet and passionate about skin care. She recommended various products for me use and I'm starting to see a difference in my face.
