The glasses are expensive and the frame master doesn't even know how to adjust frames. I will never go back there again. He sucks.

I've tried different optometry offices and this place is definitely my go-to from now on. They have a broad variety of glasses for you to choose from. I ended up getting the rayban sunglasses and a Gucci glasses. The staff are well trained with knowledgeable answers to all my optometry related questions. Phoenix was the girl who helped me all the way from answering my phone call to picking out the right glasses for me. She's very enthusiastic about her job and is very friendly, she gives her best opinions and takes the time to explain any inquiries I had. I came here to get an exam so that I would be able to get prescription sunglasses. It really stinks when I have to drive home in the evening after classes and the sun gets into my eyes. It was my first time at the office so I was pleasantly surprised to see the neatness/cleanliness and friendliness of the place. Dana was super friendly and polite. The office had a variety of frames that you could choose from. They hold a lot of "brand" names though. Like, Lacoste, Prada, Guess, Rayban etc.). I came here for an annual eye exam and it was great! They were very polite and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during my wait. An employee named Dana was especially helpful in getting me all set up and prepped for the exam. Her patience and people skills definitely contributed to the energy in the place. The customer service is poor. I purchased a pair of glasses frame from this store. It is a branded frame and it is not cheap. while the frame leg break in 5 months. The bearing falls apart completely. We sent it back to get it repaired. And we were told it will take a week to get it fixed. After a week, we were told it is sent back to the company,Therefore they need one more week. They said they will call us when the glasses is fixed. But we never received any call afterwards. We waited for 3 weeks before we called again. Even if you are remaking the glass frame, you should be fixed by now. We called again, and we were told that the frame is not yet fixed. They don't know the progress they will have to call the frame company. It already takes more than a month! Don't buy glasses here, if you don't have the confidence that your frame will never goes wrong. Spend your money some where you will really get some customer service. read more

Guys, be aware! This place is not ethic. They doubled charge! I didnt realize until today. I used to always get my contact lense from them. Today i went another Optometry to get my contact lenses b/c of the long driving to this place. Today i got a copy of my insurance. Then i relized that my insurance covered all expense of the examination including astigmatism! This place always charged me extra $ 76 by saying that my isnurance doesnt cover the astigmatism!!! And, their price is extortion! Today i paid total of $ 130 for one year supply of the same brand contact lenses which this place always charged me $160 for half year supply! The people who work in this glasses store do not know how serve their customers. The staff is very unprofessional. They don't pay attention and forget about what the customers need. The staff doesn't focus on each customer and waste time instead of giving proper service. They are not even aware about the products they sell! Dr Meng is good and professional. However the people here don't know what they are doing. I made an appointment and arrived 15 mins early, sat there for 30 mins for nothing. They did not even get my file until I questioned about my appointment. Bad customer service. People were busy ordering their lunch instead of serving customer. As well as very efficient staff which when one needs help there ready to serve an one wants to be left alone that's fine too . they have been in business for many decades serving LA. I have been going to eye on design (English store name keeps on changing while the Chinese one is the same) for last 10 years. While the store is usually packed and wait can be frustrating, I don't think store can be blamed for being popular as the staff seems to be busy helping rather than just sitting around. Their price is pretty good especially when taken into account eyecare insurance like VSP Tip: i go during weekend since Annie is usually there. She is super knowledgeable and always can make the right recommendation based on customer's facial profile, trends, etc. She also keeps the rest of the staff running smoothly. read more

I started to come here a couple of years ago and I have been a regular patients since then. I tried the color contacts and I fell in love with it. The price is amazing! I now get why people come here for their eye exams because the price is reasonable. I dont think anywhere else would have this good of a deal! This place is really busy. Thumbs up! This place has terrible wait time. Don't bother walking in if you don't have 3 hours to spare. They won't bother helping you if there's a lot of people. I went in for some contact lenses and waited over 2.5 hours to see the doctor. They kept on telling me that I was next even though they were letting other people go before me because they had appointments. I tried asking to try on the samples for the colored contact and they told me, quote-on-quote "It's so busy, not right now. Maybe after you see the doctor." I wasted all that time sitting there not doing anything and they won't even bother to help grab the sample contacts. The most infuriating thing is that if you ask them any questions regarding your insurance their first response is always "I don't know". If you're looking for quality service, this isn't the place for you. Not to mention their prices are stupidly jacked up. Their "designer" frames are 3x the price if you get it online. Please do your research before you purchase anything. Overall very dishonest business trying to con people out of their insurance coverage. read more

The doctor was great, but the remaining staff here is just awful. The do not greet customers as you arrive. Though there are several of them, not one would ask if you need help and wait for you ask someone to help. Even when you let them know what you need they simply just walk around doing really nothing until you have to ask again or have to get upset to get anyone's attention. I had to go back to my prior optometrist because of the horrible service. On top of everything, they are not cheap for the poor quality of service they provide. Staff here is rude and has zero customer service ability. I bought expensive glasses here and the coating came off in less than a year. My optometrist friends told me it is standard to have a place fix it for free if less than a year. This place took my glasses, never followed up with me and later said they dont fix it because it is my fault. Wtf? My advice is to take your business where they have good service. the doctor was great in counseling how to keep up with the health for the eyes. the staff charged me $495 for a $180 pair of sun glasses that else where like : Wal-Mart, Sun- glass Hut or Nordstrom, sale for $180-200. they had no refund or exchange policy as soon as you walk out of the store. my best advise, check you price before you pay. or better yet, get examination from all the great doctors, but go else where to buy frame or glasses. read more

This is my go to place to get eyewear. Peggy, Annie, Linda and Dr. Pham are so nice, professional and efficient. I've been coming here for 4 years driving all the way from West Hollywood because of the quick service, amazing staff and the wide range of designer brands to select from sold at competitive prices. Once a year, I come in to get my eye exam, eye glasses, and contact lenses. At this time, I also select 1-2 pairs of sunglasses that I rotate out with my other pairs until the next year when I come in to do the process all over again.
