I need to find another threading place. I simply must tell the story. Let me begin by saying that my skin is sensitive. Sensitive in the sense that any area/s that have just been threaded/waxed are red for a while & may even break out a day or two later. Anyhow, I went on friday & the lady was being unecessarily rough! She even broke the thread a time or two. I was in such pain - but it always hurts so I didn't think to tell her to stop. Basically when she handed me the mirror to take a look at myself I seen a drop of BLOOD!! Never have I ever bled, from threading or waxing! At the time I didn't even realize the damage she had done. I didn't notice until the next day when my friend asked why my face was all red. I looked in the mirror & seen SEVERAL lashes. She had ripped/scraped/torn my skin. Not only did it burn & sting - it looked AWFUL. beware. I will NOT return, EVER. I even wish I could get my 60$ back! I bought my 3 month pass a few months ago, & noticed that since then they put up 3 signs that say "NO REFUNDS". hmmmm....I wonder why? read more

I haev the 3 month membership and don't plan to renew. My experience is based on only one threader - her threading is really slow so it hurts and the hairs don't come out as thoroughly as elsewhere. Also I see little red blisters after she is done mainly because the threading isn't swift enough. Also I normally have to get at the eyebrows with a tweezer after all to get the stray hairs and ensure that the eyebrows match. They are also REALLY pushy about the membership - goodness, let it go. read more

In the last 2 years that I have been going there, I have seen customer service going down but prices are going way high. Workers have no communications skills, which is the main reason I didn't wanted to renew anymore . Hard to understand them. I do agree that they push a lot to buy pass. Despite being a customer for the last 5+ years, i still cannot give them positive reviews. I remember when i first started coming that there was a girl i really liked, unfortunately she moved due to school. The only girl i really like now is Heena, but she only works weekends. The only reason i still come here is for convenience... WHY 1 *? 1. They are overpriced! I pay $65/3 months for upper lip and chin service. These girls have no idea what the chin or upper lip is. I see so many left over hairs, and when i request nicely to have it removed they reply that its not part of the chin/upper lip. Sometimes they only remove chin hair that is visible, other days they remove the one all the way at the bottom close to your neck. They work on my chin/upper lip for 3 mins the max. It also hurts, so by the time i am done, my skin is very red and the next day i have blisters. 2. UNSANITARY! They only use anti bacterial after each customer, and after they touch money or the machine to check you out and they don't use anti bacterial after. HAIR HAIR HAIR....These girls have loooooong hair! And i don't understand why they can never put it up! Sometimes i can feel their hair touching my hands and my face! read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I did not like the idea of being threaded in front of random people but at the same time it's affordable. The first time I went for a threading I got suckered into a 3 month membership for $40 but it is indeed worth it because you can come back as many times as you want during those 3 months. Since my eyebrows grow back fast I need to come back once a week so that comes out be under $4 for each session. That's cheaper than any other place I can find. The down side is that the people who do the threading are varied in level of skill so sometimes I would like my eyebrows and other times I would not but overall it was never a bad experience. I had this one woman give my eyebrows a really nice shape but because she worked on one eyebrow at a time she did not notice that one of my eyebrows is slightly higher than the other. I didn't notice this until I got home but her shaping them made it even more obvious that their not totally even and so I was embarrassed by them! I liked maintaining my eyebrows regularly so I renewed my membership after the first three months and even added lip threading for a little more. I was going away for vacation so I asked to start the week I came back. Three days into my new membership, I was able to make it to Stonestown for my threading. I went over to where their kiosk usually is but it was no longer there. I searched all over and even asked others working nearby and still could not find their kiosk. I was so angry especially since I had just started the new membership and had not even used it yet. How could they move away and not inform anyone? And how shady is it that they keep offering memberships when they knew they were going to be leaving? Livid, I went to the mall's human resources and spoke to someone. They had apparently left the Friday before and informed me that these kiosks have limited leases. She even told me that they did not approve of them selling memberships when they knew they were only there for a short lease. Since I could not go all the way to Tanforan where they had another eyebrow plus I needed to talk to the eyebrow plus management to see if they could reimburse me. She was able to eventually give me a number. The number apparently belonged to the higher manager of the company who had a really thick Indian accent I could not comprehend half the time. He apologized to me and told me they were planning to open an actual store at the mall in october. He said in the mean time I could go to the downtown mall location. I did end up going to the downtown location in the meantime but I did not like that I had to go all the way to downtown just for a threading when I'm at Stonestown a few times a week anyways. When the actual store opened I went there for the remainder of my membership which I decided not to renew. I tried Hollywood Eyebrow after that but did not like the result. It's been months since I've had my eyebrows done and though I'm not a fan of Eyebrow Plus I'm tempted to go back because of affordability and when I leave my eyebrows do look like they've been worked on unlike Hollywood Eyebrow. read more

WOW!!! That's all I could say after renewing my membership 4 d millionth time... Things has really changed from when I 1st started going here from a couple yrs ago... 1st of all 3 combination (eye,lip and chin) for 3 months was $55 and increased overnight to $75! (quite pricey) and 2day this same combination has increased to $95 (overnight again). Not only did d price almost double in 2yrs but d process 2 become a member is ridiculously drastic... They ask 4 ur current address, phone number and take a pic ID (WTF)... D only thing I wasn't asked 4 was my SSN and fingerprint! All because I want 2 get my eyebrows done! I have renewed my membership 4 d final time bcuz I was caught off guard but I sure will take my business elsewhere where I will not be asked for my mother's maiden name just 2 get a my eyebrow right. Anyway, i like the fact that by threading they come out much more even and the shape is really pretty. Negative star if possible. Came here on a sunday afternoon and i already expected to wait a little bit. I checked in with the cashier and she said the wait will be about 15mins. Sounds great right?! She took down my phone number so i can walk around the mall instead of waiting inside so i walked around and 5-6 stores; just realizing almost 1 1/2 hr after, she never called me. No missed call nothing! So i went back to the shop and she has been skipping me the whole time. I asked her again how long is the wait, she said 5mins so i waited 5mins and she gave my spot away AGAIN!! She looked at me and said sorry while giving my spot away. The first time I went there, I got the best service. My brows looked fantastic...so I decided to pay for the membership. Well, now that I HAVE a membership and its ALREADY PAID for..they could care less how they treat me. I have had times when I'm just grunted at to sit in the chair, as soon as the girls see that I have the "membership" card. C'mon peeps! It was horrible! I have about 2 weeks left of the membership and my experience has just been the worse. I feel like I'm panhandling services everytime I go back. Also, they don't shape your eyebrows after the initial "cash" paid visit. I really would recommend checking out some other places, as threading isn't all that hard to find these days. I saw a pink sign all over the store that said eyebrow waxing for $9 and lip for $5. Waited 15 mins and finally got seated and I confirmed the price with the lady saying it's $9 right and she said "no" that is a black friday special which was yesterday and only for members. It was a good thing I asked the price before she started. The signs are misleading. Why keep the signs up if it was yesterday...shouldn't they have taken it down? Also, why is the $9 price for members when all members have packages already that is included in their membership price? This place is a rip-off...they get you into their store and when you're on the seat and of course, after the fact when the work is completed you have no choice but to pay the $15 plus $9 price. Good thing I asked and I left because I wasn't about to be scammed into paying more when the signs specifically say "BLACK FRIDAY' specials. Came home and read more reviews about them and turns out other customers were not too happy with them either. If there is a zero star that will be what I will give them. I have an issue with this establishment first of all the membership is "unlimited" and the cost is $179.00 however they charge my account for $210.00 without my authorization. Their reasons for charging me $210.00 is because I'm going every 2 days but isn't unlimited means it doesn't matter how much I can go. So finally I ask to send my application but they said it's missing to make the story short they agree to refund the whole amount because they is no application they can produce. Pls be careful with this business and check your account I am not the only person that has a problem with this auto payment. Stonestown location - Its great to have access to threading without having to go down to the South Bay, its a pretty smart idea on the owner's part. I do have an issue with the lack of privacy in the mall. I am not sure I will renew my 3 month membership just for that one reason. Threading does give you a nice shape but its PAINFUL. I am South Asian but haven't had too much threading done because it just looked so painful. I was in town visiting my Uncle on Friday, April 10th and we went to Stonestown for lunch. Unfortunetly I decided to get my brows threaded at eyebrows plus. I want everyone to know that my brows look horrid and I beleive that I was conned by this business. The lady told me that I did not have to pay if I was not happy with the results. Then she said I had to and sold me on a 40.00 membership to use in my home town. I checked and we don't have a eyebrow plus at the mall by my house.(I was told there was one at sunrise mall) Anusha is the name of the lady who did my brows and she lied to me. Also she would not lift my chair up and I felt I was being held against my will and that is why I bought what she was selling so that I could get free. It was a very scary experience and I think those people are criminals.So now I am out 47.00 and my brows are ruined. read more

Their service isn't the best but gets it done. What I don't like is that I emailed their company complaining about a charge, they didn't get back to me until a month later. Then proceed to tell me I cannot get my money back because I "signed" a waiver. If someone is unhappy, make the customer happy- basic customer service skills. I have had a membership here for about a year now and for $50 every 3 months, it is a really great deal. They do a pretty decent job, but a lot of the time, I hear my hair breaking (which isn't supposed to happen if they do it correctly). However, my biggest gripe is that some of the threaders do not wash their hands well enough or do not rinse their mouth after lunch because almost every time I can smell their lunch on them. I can literally tell you what they had for lunch that day -- gross, I know. They're not necessarily the friendliest either. But for some reason, I keep coming back. *shrugs* read more

This place is a rip off. They charge you $15 for Eyebrow Threading. Where outside the mall I can get it done for less than $10. But I do not mind paying $15.If I get a well trained threader doing my Eyebrows. What I got was a un-skilled worker who completely screwed the shape of my eyebrows now I am waiting for them to grow back so I can get them fixed. But thats for sure I am not going back to Eyebrow Plus. Another thing they try to sell you membership DO NOT BUY it. Its a trap. Once you buy it you will get STUCK you will get worst service from before since they know your not paying. Some of my friends fell for this trick and now they do not even use the membership card since they do not trust them with there eyebrows. Very rude. They have a sign that says $5 off if you write a yelp review, but when I told them that I would do that they mumbled to themselves and then I asked them if everything was ok. "You only got upper lip... so..." If that's the case, then take the sign off or add some type of comment on it to say it only applies for eyebrows or something. So strange. DONT DO A MEMBERSHIP!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT DO A MEMBERSHIP WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU'D LIKE $30-90 STOLEN OUT OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. I've been a loyal customer for a little bit over a year now mostly because there's this one girl who shapes and cleans them well. When I tried to cancel my membership in late february (i wasnt coming in as much as i should be for what im paying) they said okay and i filled out papers. Came back in March, it was still active. Apparently they had 'lost' their copy while I kept mine and showed them. They called 'headquarters', pulled up my files and said she'd fax my cancellation papers that they misplaced over but she didn't even TOUCH my papers to fax over. I come in again twice more and they have the same problem. I'm not the only person who this has happened to. Before going to this place I checked the reviews and had a similar review. I should've listened. Wouldve saved hundreds. These people are a headache and CLEARLY the owner doesn't care about the service and just the money. The first thing that sucks about this place is the location...maybe if it were actually in San Francisco I would be more likely to visit because it would be conveniently located to the actual city rather than on the outskirts. But either way, I've really given this place many chances but its rare they perform to par. I've had threading done in India, Chicago, East Bay over the course of a decade and the Eye Brow Plus people are not as well trained or gentle...Unfortunately most of the people there push so hard against your skin that you get the equivalent of rope burn....I've literally walked away with a little bloody splotch on my chin or eyebrows on a few occasions ~ they have a good concept, just not the skill to back it up. I've had plenty of threading done that is beautifully done and gentle rather than incredible pressure of the thread against your skin. These women working at these stalls are friendly, but mostly ambivalent to the quality of their work probably because they are being underpaid and therefore don't take ownership of their work...and trust me from someone that has walked away bloody on more than one occasion, this is a dangerous combo! read more
