After having my skin ripped off at Nanu by an employee that was adamant that my "hair was just thick " I decided to forego having my brows threaded. I had a vacation coming up and wanted to get cleaned up. After reading the reviews here I decided to give it another try and I'm so happy I did. Not only was she very gentle, she also did a great job. I've tried a lot of threading places but this one is the best I have used in Orange County. I'm so glad I came in and super happy with the results! Beant threaded and tinted my brows and Arlin did my lash lift and tint. My brows are perfectly shaped and, while I probably could have gone without tint (my brows are naturally dark on their own), I found that the tint gave them a fuller look so I'll likely do it again (for the reasonable price, why not?!). As for my lashes, I'm so impressed. I have naturally long lashes but often go without makeup or curling them. I have never been a big fan of the look of false lashes or extensions but the lift and tint alone made a dramatic difference that achieved such a natural, pretty and fluttery look. It's been about a month and my lashes still look great. At first, I was hesitant about booking an appointment given the busy location (parking is often a mess and I was coming on an evening around the holidays), but I didn't have any issues. The studio was clean and both ladies were so sweet. I should add that Arlin was kind enough to see me on the evening before she was due to be out on maternity leave (thank you again!). I had no idea she was that close to Baby and felt so bad, but I think her taking my appointment anyway, being so kind and doing such great work says so much about her skill and commitment to her customers and craft. If you know me on me on a personal level, you KNOW that my eyebrows are the one thing I take pride in. If they're not perfect I will not leave my house. About 3 months ago when I went to get them done with someone and they completely ruined them! My hair is naturally very fine and pigmentation on my brows is pretty much non existent. I stumbled upon Arlin on here and I'm so thankful I did! I had the $30 tint done and honestly I'm obsessed!! Arlin is by far the best! I started seeing her about two months ago; I came to her with missing hair from a bad eyebrow job, and very thankful I found her. On my first visit I explained to her what I wanted and even though I had missing hair, she managed to still make me look 10 times better. Since then, I finally have a nice shape. The one thing I love is how kind they are when I arrive, and if she's busy, they can call your cell phone when she's ready. This makes it nice for those who love to shop or grab Starbucks while waiting. I have to say, I have never had to wait longer then about 5-10 minutes as well. I came to realize that eyebrow tinting just wasn't for me. It was too harsh the first day and faded quickly due to my oily skin. So instead, I came back and she threaded my brows for me. Arlin was my first experience with eyebrow threading. I wasn't sure I was ready to make the switch being that I was happy with who I went to for waxing. Arlin assured me it would be ok and that I should give it a try. I told her I didn't want any serious shaping or arching to just keep the natural shape and clean them up just as I would instruct my waxing lady. To my pleasant surprise she exceeded my expectations. My eyebrows are perfect every time. She is now the only person I trust to touch my eyebrows. She is very knowledgeable and will give you tips on what to do to fill your eyebrows. She and her husband, who is often there to support her are very friendly. They create a friendly atmosphere. If you are worried about the pain it is not more painful than waxing. I experience less pain on my cheeks and tops of my eyebrows when threading. When my niece visits me, she herself makes sure we pay Arlin a visit. I recommend her to anyone. Regretfully giving one star. I got my brows tinted and threaded here and the lady made them way too thin. My brows are about 1 hair thin now on the ends. Very sad because it takes my brows forever to grow out. They have never been this thin. When I told the ladies they were too thin, they did not offer any remedy or rectify the issue.
