I love the glasses I received and the quality is very nice BUT the customer service was completely absent for almost a month (3.5 wks), after several attempts to contact (multiple phone calls, voicemails, emails to various address available on the site). They had already received my $490 and I received only 1 email update a few days after ordering. All I was trying to figure out was if my glasses would arrive prior to a trip a month after I ordered them. Super easy, super simple email. Every other online glasses company I have ordered from has been able to send an update when I have requested. When I finally got a hold of a customer service representative after calling 3 times in a row, the rep repeatedly talked over me and interrupted me and was very impatient and short tempered. Interestingly, the glasses then shipped IMMEDIATELY the same day. It makes me wonder if I hadn't called if they would have even been shipped. The glasses came in a very ugly purple felt soft case with a Velcro closure. I immediately threw the cases away. The shipping packaging was thorough and they arrived unscathed within the 1 day shipping I had paid for. They get 2 stars only because the glasses themselves and the selection they have were good quality. Just be wary that your money will be held hostage and you will have to insist they contact you. read more

I placed an order on 11/8/19. I was excited to see that they had the frames that I wanted at a great price. After 13 days of waiting with no contact from the company, I checked and found that the frames I wanted were backordered, however, they had already charged my credit card. I called a 2nd time (1st call was never returned) to find out when they expected them. Customer service called the manufacturer and was told that the frames I wanted were discontinued, however they were available in another color. I chose to take the other color. I sent an email confirming that I would take the other color and stated again what size I needed. The frames arrived when customer service told me they would. However, the incorrect size was sent. Now I have to return them at my own expense and wait to see if the frames are available in the size that I originally ordered. It has been 21 days and I still do not have the correct size of frames that I ordered, but my credit card was charged when I placed the order 3 weeks ago. read more

I got exactly the frame and lens options I wanted for a price that was in line with other online retailers and cheaper than my local optical shop. My glasses took about six weeks to arrive, which was slightly longer than I'm accustomed to from a brick and mortar store, but not so much that I was surprised. My prescription is very high and I also require progressives, so I'm accustomed to a considerable lagtime before my glasses arrive. Eyeglasses.com is one of the only online glasses retailers that carries my prescription and provided the option for 1.74 high-index lenses -- necessary to avoid the "coke bottle" look in a prescription as high as mine. I was able to utilize a sales and coupon code to bring down the price. The glasses I received have the correct prescription in the correct frame, and I am very happy with them. Business Review Terrible Customer Service** --- My experience with this company's return process has been completely unacceptable. Despite returning my item over a month ago, I have still not received my refund. The company repeatedly delayed the process and provided misinformation regarding the timeline. On top of a misleading return policy--which neglects to mention that the customer is responsible for return shipping costs in the email outline--the company also failed to specify exactly what would be refunded "In The Return Instructions". Their lack of communication and transparency forced me to file a dispute to get my money back. This is a poor way to conduct business. Turn around time seemed lacking. If you're without glasses and waiting on them...be ready to walk around in a blur for the better part of a month waiting. They got my frames on a Friday...didnt get them to the lab until Tuesday the following week. The entire week expired and still didnt get the lenses made for my frames. They didnt get to them until the following week. I expected faster service. I reached out to them and they offered no explanation at all...none. They did send them to me next day air for free. I could not find the John Lennon/mock Windsor frames from own local eyeglasses shop + optometrist. So I went to eyeglasses.com and BAM! There they were. And there in the exact color, and even had the correct and Hard-to-find temples that today's eyeglasses just don't have anymore. When I got them they even had a sticker on them that read "handmade in Italy"! The price was actually pretty good for "handmade in Italy" -- less than $200! I sent in 4 frames in early December. I ordered 4 different types: 1 rimless, progressive ; I regular;  I dark tint sunglasses; and the last was a pair of Polaroid sunglasses. The lenses were fine, but the frames were defective. The temples were not straight, which resulted in the glasses being lopsided, and unable to rest straight and proper on my face. I returned them yesterday, and have been told that I will receive a full refund. Good lenses, and the frames were what I wanted, but they were very poorly manufactured. Who ever heard of eyeglass frames in which the temples are not straight? How can they ever fit straight on your face? They can't. read more
