I've tried false lashes and they take up so much time and usually do not look anywhere near as natural as lash extensions do! However, must beware of lash extension addiction!! I've been getting lash extensions for three years now and every attempt at stopping this addiction makes me feel depressed at how my naked mole rat lashes look. However, I do have a lot of lashes and so this backed my technician up. While I was getting my lashes done I heard another customer complain about how her appointment was supposed to have started 10 minutes ago. My technician apologized to her and said "I'm almost done". I could feel my technician being less attentive to my lashes and rushing. She asked me to open my eyes immediately after putting on my final lash and asked if it burned...of course it did she had just applied. She then provided the fan. At the end of my appointment she told me to get a lift next time since I have so many lashes. I came home and already had lost multiple lashes from the eye she rushed on. Retention was horrible. I had a lash girl that I went to for 2 years but she moved to Ontario so I tried this place. She never complained about the amount of work my lashes were.

She was super detailed, curling each lash carefully, and even added keratin to protect them. I've done lash lifts in Korea before, but this is honestly the best result I've ever had. Getting to the salon wasn't too difficult, some street parking wasn't too difficult. The salon had a cute and modern vibe to it! I was instantly seated by Tammy and she got to work. They had an iPad at each station, which really made my experience here relaxing. I had a hard gel set on, and Tammy did mention how they'd have to start clean and remove this set. I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! This is probably the best set of ombré nails I've ever had done!!! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)! If I were in the area more often, I'd go back to Buttercup in a heartbeat!!!! They are on the pricier side, but you'll be paying for quality IMO.

I was referred to Mandy by a friend and never been so impressed and happy with eyelash extensions before!
