One time I scratched A lens in my glass so they told me they could bust it out and put the lenses into new frames since my frames were discontinued. However when they cut the Glass they did not cut them exactly right to fit into the new frames and I didn't notice until THOSE frames broke because of how the glasses were cut. Another time she asked me to come in so she Could dilate my eyes. I came in, she did not dilate them, BUT SHE CHARGED ME! Needless to say I found a new optometrist Dr. Van Such is amazing. Dr. Terry was very empathetic, understanding and has this "mom caring vibe" which makes it easier for us customers to communicate with her. I've been to a variety of Optometrists and I have to say this has been one of my favorite places to visit. Dr Terry was amazing. Extremely friendly and personable. She was thorough during her exam. I had LASIK / PRK performed 3 years ago, and she was still very detailed in her examination of my eyes for prescription and other related eye issues. This wasn't a simple 5 minute "which is better, 1 or 2" exam with no detail. It was extremely thorough. Even though I still have my 20/20 vision (or better), it was good to know that someone out there cared for my vision. A special shout out to Wil, the cute & cool employee up front. He helped me schedule my eye exam, look for glasses even though my vision is just too perfect for them, and even made a referral for my mother to come in for a visit. I have been going to Dr. Terry for a few years now she is an amazing dr. She is very detailed and organized very helpful and polite and always able to answer any questions I have regarding my eye. I have friends that have gone to her and we all agree this is our dr to go to. Her staff is always polite and cautious. If your looking for a family eye dr this is the office for you. They have a great selection of glasses ranging form prada, ray ban, Vera wang, derapage, john varvato and so many more. The doctor did not even introduce herself when she took me back for my examination. She was also running late and did not apologize for that (which isn't that big of a deal considering how much more rude she was during the appointment). She was extremely cold and it was very uncomfortable. She seemed like she was in a rush. As she quickly went through the slides asking me if #1 or #2 was better, she pressured me to answer quickly by her rude tone and seemingly was frustrated. She also went so fast that sometimes I couldn't even tell which one was #1 or #2 so I sure hope I got the right prescription! When I answered wrong because she was going too fast, she rudely told me to wait for the right slide. I felt so uncomfortable I did not feel able to ask her to slow down because she seemed so upset if I couldn't answer on the first try. When I was done and she wanted her staff to sell me glasses but I said I was going to shop around. She didn't say anything else. I still don't know what her name is or why she had such an attitude. I will never ever return!!! UPDATE: my vision is still blurry so she didn't give me the correct prescription (no shocker there). My insurance only covers every two years so that really sucks. read more

Dr. Terry and her staff are amazing! I have been wearing RGP lenses for over 20 years and never had such a thorough pre and post lens exam and fit in all those years. Dr. Terry is relentless in ensuring I had the BEST possible vision and lens fit during my visits and once my lenses were dispensed to me, she made the entire experience personal in ensuring she had done everything in her capacity to ensure my complete visual / personal satisfaction. I live in Los Angeles and came to her office as a result of a temporary work assignment down the street from her location, even when this assignment is over and for many years to come I will gladly drive the 38 miles each way to ensure I receive the "Super Star" treatment and service I received from her and her team. read more

This review is only for the sales associate. I came in on Thursday, December 3rd around 1pm. We were being helped by a young man. Everything was fine until I asked him a question about what the frame shape was called and he totally ignored me. He looked at me, didn't even answer my question and proceeded to do other things. It was an awkward, uncomfortable situation. My sister and I thought, "umm, ok..." I was going to buy the $500 frames but decided not to support the business after he blatantly ignored me. That isn't a bad thing because after I left and researched the pair I noticed it sold for as little as $99 elsewhere. No thanks! read more

What an awful shopping experience. I stopped in after work because its time for me to get a new pair of glasses. I explained that I wanted to see how their prices were in comparison to Lenscrafters, as that is where I have gotten my glasses for the past 5 years. The woman behind the counter scoffed at me when I asked this question. She also told me I had inferior lenses. I explained that I had blue shield insurance and was supposed to get 20% off of my purchase. They looked helpless and the gentleman behind the counter struggled with 2 attempts to locate this information online. He explained that they couldnt find any info and proceeded to quote me on the glasses I was looking for at retail. $120 for lenses, $132 for the coating they recommended. Plus frames. Plus an eye exam. So I did the math and they were more than $200 more expensive for the glasses I was looking for as opposed to Lenscrafters who has a lab on site and does glasses in about an hour. I guess that is what I get for trying to support local/small business. I will continue shopping with Lenscrafters. read more

If you are looking for an Optometrist, look no further. Dr. Terry always gets my prescription right, I love the selection of frames, and the staff is always super friendly. My insurance covers one visit a year plus contacts or glasses. I have been visiting Dr. Terry every year since she opened this office. I have referred lots of my office colleagues and friends and they are always very happy with Dr. Terry. If I need more contacts, I just call to have more shipped to me and I always receive them super quick. She also gives me free samples of eye drops and contact lens cleaners that her reps give to her to share with her customers. And she smells nice too. read more
