After reading all the reviews, and especially the replies from the doctor himself, I just HAD to write my own review. This place sucks. Period. The staff were so unprofessional, gossiping instead of greeting the only customer), filing nails, and taking personal phone calls... All while I was waiting to be seen. I took advantage of the Living Social deal too, back in 2011. I was so upset with the "service" that I didn't even want to come back to pick up the glasses. It was a piece of flimsy crap. The lady basically just said that with my groupon, I could ONLY look at one very small section of frames. Then when it came time to talk about the lens, she just kept pushing me to add on other stuff (anti-glare, thinner, etc). It was ridiculous. I wasn't saving any money at all. When I finally got the call to go pick up my glasses, it was obviously not the right size (WAY too wide) for me and my new prescription wasn't right for me. I didn't want to bother with unprofessionalism so my glasses have been collecting dust since. Waste of money. Waste of time. Read the doctor's replies and you can see how unprofessional he is too, in trying to save his "reputation." He boasts over hundred positive reviews on his own website but, DUH!!!! As their own website, they can choose NOT to display the less than positive reviews. Why do you think there's Yelp?! Doc, it was your VERY OWN replies that compelled me to write a REVIEW of your business. You are destroying your own reputation. Not us. We are simply the customers. The place is very nice and look very professional. I bought 3 pairs of sunglasses (Chanel, Gucci & Cartier). I realized upon getting home that they are marking their prices way above retail. I paid $200 more on the Gucci and $150 more on the Cartier than any other retailers around. The Chanel wasn't so bad, I paid $27 more at this place compared elsewhere. The actual Cartier website is selling the exact same pair for $150 less than Eyesite. I will not buy any thing from this retailer anymore simply because of their high marked up prices. I felt extremely cheated and not very happy with it. I am stuck with the items because they do NOT have a return policy. Once you bought it, it's yours. NO RETURN. read more

I don't like this place. AT ALL. The office was very nice and accommodating, but I just feel like they just want your money. I had a contact lens exam and the Optometrist prescribed me Biofinity contact lenses. I've never heard of these, and I usually get the Acuvue lenses. I told him that I want the Acuvue ones; i've been really comfortable with Acuvue & been using them for years. He was really biased, and said, "why? these are just simply better... there's nothing more to it." He didn't give me a specific reason why. Well, it turns out that a box of Biofinity was $10 more, so I guess he wanted more money out of me! I just felt so cheated. read more

Pretest: the optician was very friendly and this is the reason why my review isn't 1 star. She was very thorough in explaining the exams and asked if I had any questions. Small talk about the store, my background, etc. over all a good experience. Exam: The doctor didn't ask anything about my background or try to get to know me. Just focused on the exam a standard exam, contact lens fitting, optimap picture review. When I told him about retinal thinning he asked, 'what was I going to do about it?' I answered, I don't know and he said me neither. Not the answer I was looking for. Lastly, he didn't ask if I had a preference on contact lenses. He pushed another product which I specifically told him I didn't like in the past. After a few back and forths on the subject I gave in and took the trial pair. I still don't like the product. Overall: I ended trying this place out since my insurance changed. I was told I can come back and request for a different brand of contact; however, I was so displeased about the exam, I ended up scheduling a new exam with my old optometrist. I purchased lenses under 1 yr and the lenses became defective . I went back in to get them remade but at the same time my daughter was saying she couldn't see out of them very well and i wasn't sure if it was a RX issue or the defective lens so i had the dr recheck and her rx changed and now they wanted me to purchase new lenses and did not want to redo the old one with the new rx. I didn't want to use my insurance for the new lenses when the ones she had were still under warranty i wanted them to replace the defective ones at no cost but they said no they would only make them with the old rx which makes no sense bcuz my child would not be able to use them. No one was helpful at all they wanted me for me to buy a new set which came out to $600with insurance.....crazy read more

I've been going to eyesite for about 4-5 years now and since day one I have NEVER had a bad outcome. Since day one I have been treated with the utmost courtesy and awesome service. I have always been seen by Dr. David. I must say that with every visit, I have come to see how much dr. David and his staff really do take the time to know all about u and take great concern, not only for your vision but for you whole well being. All the gals are sincerely sweet and very welcoming as soon as you enter thru the door. It doesn't matter if they are with a patient, they always make sure to turn and greet you. I can honestly say I have established a wonderful relationship with the staff and Dr. David. Just how caring and concerned is Dr. David about your vision?? He has gone out of his way to have one of the lovely ladies in the front staff send me a text to kindly remind me to use my eye pressure drops! How many can say that about their own Doctors in general? ? I've been coming to Eyesite for a couple of years now and I always leave content. My last visit I purchased a groupon which got me my eye exam for free and I believe $150 towards the frames I chose. It was a great deal and saved me some money. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. The optometrist explained each step while she was giving me my eye exam and was very patient with me when my eyes did not want to cooperate haha. The other kind lady in the lobby was EXTREMELY helpful while I was choosing my new frames for my new prescription. I went in having an idea of what kind of frames I wanted and still ended up with ten to choose from. But she guided me through and gave me a few pointers of what is going to feel most comfortable on my face. Really great office! read more

Outstanding service... Great selection... I've been going to Los Cerritos Optometry for 5 years and they're service was good... Only thing is they're frame variety is limited. Lots of designers but everything looks the same.. Went into Eyesite and they have SALT.... I've wanted SALT frames for years! Suzette is very kind and patient... Everyone in the office looks like they really love working there. I didn't have an appointment and they welcomed me. I was in and out in 20 minutes. This place is the best! Great staff, easy to make an appointment and you don't wait very long in the waiting room which is the best! The assistant and the doctor were very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. The woman who helped me pick out my glasses went over my benefits with me and any packages they were currently offering. I did only buy prescription glasses the day of my visit because I wanted to purchase prescription sunglasses as well but the price was outrageous. Dr. B is one of the sweetest and most informative optometrist you will ever meet. She treats her patients as if they are family and always has a smile. The handle on the right side of my glasses broke again today, it is definitely time for new glasses. In the meantime, it broke at 5:58 pm. I loved loved LoVED the staff..just the energy made me feel like it was an experience and not an appointment. I had a scheduled appointment but when I showed up they seemed very busy. The receptionist was very polite, and told me I would be seen shortly. When I was by the doctor I explained to her my history with my eyes and told her I was looking for me glasses. I explained to her that I wanted contacts but every other doctor I had seen had never been able to get contacts into my eyes. The doctor said she wanted to try. They sent me to the receptionist for a contact fitting and within 10 mins she trained me how to get them in my eyes. Highly recommend this place! read more

I was away from home when the nose pad on my glasses broke. Eyesite Optometry was super close to where I was, so I went in to see if they could help me.
