I am the property manager for a building in San Francisco and last night we had a huge leak that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I called several plumbing companies that claimed to be 24/7 and none were available until the next day. I called Hydro Plumbing & Rooter and was told someone would arrive within an hour and sure enough the plumber arrived in 40 minutes. The leak was identified and successfully repaired, water was cleaned up and I was able to finally get a peace of mind and get some rest. I honestly don't know what I would have done without them. Such great level of professionalism and fast responsivness was shown last night. The technician updated me the entire time and explained the process so I could fully understand what happened and what he was doing. We couldn't take it anymore, so we looked up a reliable local plumber and H&R had great reviews and are also located in San Leandro. I called them on a Wednesday evening and a man answered on the second ring. I told him what our issue was and he immediately said he could help and was ready to send someone the next morning. I wasn't available that day but was available on Friday, and he instantly said that worked for him and gave me a window of noon to 2:00 pm for arrival. Carlos arrived on time and was an incredibly nice, friendly, professional guy. Our problem was a simple one: sediment had collected in the head of the faucet over time and was blocking the water from coming out. He showed us what he removed, how to remove it ourselves next time, and told us that it's a result of the very old, original pipes in our home collecting that sediment. He arrived and finished the job within 30 minutes, tops. Incredibly smooth transaction and experience. Would definitely work with these guys again in the future.

I called USA Rooter to get an estimate, and within 2 hours, Alvaro was on my doorstep, giving me a fair and reasonable quote. They are scheduled for today, and I am so excited to be getting our shower fixed, and a new toilet installed. UPDATE: The installation of the toilet was fast and efficient. The shower faucet was a little more complicated in this old house, but Emmerson told me exactly what was going on and how he was going to fix it. He got this old decrepit fixture working with some new innards and outer hardware - it is like new. We are so pleased! I highly recommend USA Rooter & Plumbing. Both men were kind, explained everything to this non-plumber, and were attentive to our needs of having a working bathroom quickly. You have a few choices; #1 cut them each year and hope it doesn't get better. But you had better keep you lines clean. I had friends staying at my place and they were using flusable wipes that didn't flush. Long story short; I ended up snaking the house and not fixing it. I had to call in the pro's. I got to dig them for not coming to my place on time; the owner was dealing with a issue we talked about later but; if i was a person who was in a hurry I would of went elsewhere. Anyways hours after call. Percy shows up who is a real nice guy; gets to work with the power snake we run water clear it up. Then he comes out with the camera so check my lines; this is what I wanted to do in the 1st place. I have 6 feet of lines where roots are coming though. This is very bad as it requires the pipes to be replaced and this isn't cheap at all. Percy did quote me for doing everything It was fair for the amount of work. My original review didn't include the three photos, so in their initial comment they said I have never contacted them, and I left fake review on their page and they are going to use legal weapon against me. But unfortunately I didn't take screenshot of their rude original comment. BE AWEAR, you would like to keep every record possible if you will deal with them. They deleted their initial comment after my UPDATE review with those three photos attached, because they know I have proof of our phone call conversations, messages and email I sent to them. They cannot simply say I'm lying. So they post this new comment here. I called them, then sent email to them , and sent text message to them to confirm the appointment. If that's not enough, I don't know what else I could do. Particularly when there's city engineer/ inspector involved, they should show a little bit more respect for other's time and efforts. I end up working with another local sewer company, which is great, showed up on time, and bring everything needed for the specific inspection, and the city engineer/ inspector found it easy and pleasant to work with too.
