I had a clog in my shower drain at night and I called them bc they were listed 24/7. I was afraid that bc it was night before 4th July, they wouldn't be available. It wasn't an urgent matter bc I could use my other shower, so they scheduled to come in the morning. Andrew arrived between the given times and was so friendly and polite! I explained my problem and he explained what could be the issue. I left him to it, and few minutes later my drained was unclogged. He also explained the layout of the piping between my sinks and shower so i could get a better understanding. Since I had him there, I asked if he could look my son's toilet (bc it won't stop running after it flushes) and he knew what the problem was. Right then and there he was able to replace the toilet valve! Of course it cost a little extra, but since he already was there why not. We had an issue with our sump pump on Christmas Eve. Called around to different "24/7" plumbing companies, but this was the only one that picked up/called back. They were able to send a technician out the same day and the technician was knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem. He explained what the issue was and what he needed to do. We needed to replace the sump pump so he needed to get a new one. He went out to get a new one and kept us in the loop with the approximate cost of the project and got our confirmation that we were good to proceed. These guys are nice and friendly. We originally called because we had a toilet not flushing properly. He spent a long time flushing out the system to the main and making sure everything worked properly. He let us know about some future issues we might face. Price was better than a previous company we had contacted. Then, a few weeks later we had an issue with the bathtub not draining during the storms because the vent stack had gotten clogged with leaves and they came out during torrential downpour to clean it out. Got a serious underground water leak in the front yard; found out about it via a drastically higher water bill (7X ouch!!). I had very bad experience with plumber from this agency Rafael. 2 years ago, my landlord hired him for toilet stoppage; trying to fix it, Rafael filled my bath tub and floor with feces. He refused to clean, it stayed there for a week. Just this week, kitchen sink had some issues. Rafael came to my place, politely informed me, he was going to clean it from upstairs apartment, made sure, my sink was draining. He promised to come and check before he left, assured, I would not have any problems. Half an hour later, my sink was full of dark brown liquid, and did not drain. Now, I informed my landlord and Rafael, I had to leave this day, for a few days vacation. Rafael answered the phone, told me, he was in another city, can come back in an hour. Once again, I had to leave. When I came back home, sink was full of brown mess. Rafael came, was rude, pushed all brown goo back into the drain and washed it down - so sickening! - did 2 minutes of cleaning, said, he was a plumber, not a cleaner.Now, second time I have to clean disgusting staff, after Rafael completely failed to do his job, and flooded my sink with junk. No apology from him, again, just rudeness.I will have to file a complaint with California Board of Contractor Licensing. Hope he is licensed, and hope his license will be taken away, since he is obviously incapable of performing his job as a plumber. Shame on you, Rafael. read more

Called H & R Plumbing for a leak under the kitchen sink. Carlos came out and said the garbage disposal needed to be replaced. He also said that he could replace a leaky kitchen sink faucet. We selected one from photos that he pulled up on his phone and also based upon his recommendation. After returning from purchasing the parts, Carlos began to remove the faucet but it had rusted onto the sink. He worked for a very long time to remove it and finally prevailed! The new faucet and garbage disposal, including some damaged hosing that was replaced for the disposal, both work great. Everything was clean, and all parts were disposed of after the installations. They were quick to respond to my call, however I was not happy with the way they left my facility when they were finished with the job. They had to use a jack hammer to do the job and left the bathroom door open while doing this it left a huge message in the rest of our building. It took me 3 hours to clean and on top of that they dumped the old water on my brand new asphalt leaving rust stains on the ground. I tried to contacted them several times to see if they would come back to cleaned up their mess and they refused to reply to me. They did lower the price, but they did not tell me why??? I did call and text them and they said they were going to come by and see my asphalt, but they never came. We had a sudden plumbing situation on a weekend while cooking an early Thanksgiving meal: our kitchen garbage disposal was backing up into the bathroom tub. My husband called around, and these guys were able to come the soonest - but were super accommodating and even said that we could cancel if we found someone who could get here quicker. Our technician was excellent: knowledgeable, unobtrusive, patient with the many people traipsing through our apartment. He spent 2 hours discovering the issue and fixing it. When our landlord suddenly arrived (after the first hour) and contested the cause, the technician even offered to leave and not charge us at all! I showed them the video of leak when water heater thermostat went out. They changed there statement and said they need to see the leak because they said it never did leak I. The firstThere was cold water coming out which cold affected joint which caused the pipe to leak out above water heater. I wasn't home when they arrived, the owner of house my 81 mother was there and didn't go down to basement (no stairs). After they replaced $10 thermostat the hot water flowed thru the pipe and leak and water dried. I showed the Plummer the video when the water heater was cold and dripping leaking - 10 seconds. He refused to fix it because he said it is dried and not leaking. I showed him video and explained why it was leaking, but he refused to repair. There was water deposits and rust forming but he said it never leaked ever! I have pictures and videos! Also noticed his son or the other repair person was carrying propane torch when I arrived 20 minutes later and that may have helped with water drying up... what a joke! read more
