Tucked away in a small shopping center, it's a cozy little spot with beautiful Moroccan lights that add to the atmosphere. The staff was patient, kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. We ordered family style so we could sample a bit of everything. Here's what we tried: * Vegetarian Combo: 5/5 stars- Ezme, hummus, falafel, and eggplant dip all on one plate. A perfect starter and a great way to taste a little bit of everything. *Mix Grill: 5/5 stars- chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, chicken kofte, beef kofte and doner kebab. This was a hit at the table- every single piece was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. *Turkish Iskender: 2/5 stars- this one wasn't for me. This dish is made with a bread base topped with tomato base and shredded lamb and beef. The flavor was unique, but the texture just didn't work for me. I don't think I would order it again as it felt very soggy. *Ali Nazik: 3/5 stars- smoked grilled meat over a bed of creamy garlic, yogurt and eggplant. The meat was wonderful, but the yogurt and eggplant mix felt a little off chunky and bland like cottage cheese and needed a stronger punch of flavor. *Manti: 5/5 stars- tortellini stuffed with ground beef served in a creamy yogurt with chilly oil. unlike other places where the dumplings are huge and heavy these were small bite size and perfectly balance easily one of my favorites of the night. Overall, I definitely come back. The menu is extensive and there are still so many dishes I want to try. I can't wait for my next visit.

I had the Beef Shawarma Plate, falafels, and lentil soup. Ordering at the counter was easy. The shawarma plate comes with rice, house salad, hummus, red cabbage, pickles, and tahini sauce which is great. There are other possible sauce and topping additions or substitutions, but I went with those. It was delicious and filling. The lentil soup was tasty and freshly made, and the falafels had the perfect balance of crunch and softness. I took half of those home with me. Although size prevents it from being a complete dine-in experience, I was quite comfortable eating at one of the small tables available for those eating there. A gentleman who worked at the 7-11 in the same plaza, stopped in to eat as well. He had a tasty looking wrap. The guys behind the counter spoke back and forth with him, so it was obvious that he is a regular customer. It's nice that he can grab a nice, quality lunch so nearby his workplace. The service was quick, the food terrific, and the prices reasonable. I highly recommend.

After waiting more than 1.5 hours, I called to check the status and found out that my order had not even been prepared. I don't know who I spoke with on the phone, but instead of helping resolve the issue, I was told that I could simply cancel my order. What frustrated me most was the explanation I received: "Sorry, this app doesn't work well." The representative showed little interest in solving the problem. Apparently, the app worked perfectly when it charged my credit card, but when it came to processing and delivering my order, suddenly the app was the issue. Delays can happen, but customers should be informed instead of being left waiting with no updates. I still didn't receive my order after two hours. The customer service was awful, and the lack of communication made the situation even more frustrating. This used to be one of my favorite places, but unfortunately, the quality of service seems to be getting worse.

My husband ordered the chicken kebab meal for $11.99 and it came with a bottle of water or a can of soda. They don't have Fountain drinks here. The portion size was big and it was served in a Styrofoam container, even for dine in which was kind of sad because my food was beautifully plated. Not sure why his wasn't...? The falafel came with delicious pickles, two tahini, sauces, and some tomatoes. I think these are the best falafel I've ever had. They stayed together nicely and they were moist and delicious. I definitely recommend you try these. My soup was excellent. I love lentil soup and this one was seasoned well and the cup was a decent size. I love the pita bread here because it's very thin and holds up well when you make a sandwich. This is great for people who are watching their carb, but still want to have some bread. We had service with a smile and the lady who took our order, brought everything out to our table, and she was really kind and professional. You pay for the food when you order it. The menu seems to have a lot of great items so we'll be back again to try other things. One day you get OK portions, and the next time you come in you get half. Recently, I moved up to a plate because the portions in the bowl seemed to have gotten smaller. Now the portions of the plate have gotten ridiculous. Just shy of $17 for rice and couscous, cucumber, red, cabbage, and hardly any meat! $17 for a whole lot of water from vegetables and rice. How greedy does a place have to be? I know things are getting expensive but when you shrink the portions and raise the prices, you're just begging for people to just stop spending their money there. And like I said, it all depends on who's serving you. This meal is worth $13 - $14 at best total after taxes for what you get!

Anyway, I picked up a couple of build-your-own-plates for our carryout dinner. They were each $12.95 and a decent deal as far as value. Both plates had two proteins - chicken shawarma and falafel, and came with a nice warm pita bread. Even when dining in, the meats aren't always piping hot depending on how long they have been under the lamp, and even more tastiness is lost in carry-out mode. Nevertheless, for $12.95 for a generous heaping plate, no complaints really, and it was a satisfying enough dinner.

The restaurant itself is very spacious and extremely clean, with plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal without feeling crowded. The atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting, but I have to mention it was 8pm when we went. Now for the food it was absolutely delicious. The chicken kabob was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor. It was perfectly grilled and seasoned just right, the kind of dish where every bite is better than the last. You could really taste how fresh everything was. My four year old loved the chicken and the rice was delicious. We also ordered the combination plate, which was fantastic. It came with a great variety of Mediterranean Dave's including the best falafel I have had, seasoned chicken, fresh rice, and all the classic sides that complement the dish so well. It's a great option if you want to try a little bit of everything, and everything on the plate was flavorful and well prepared. What really stood out to me though was the hospitality. The owner's kindness and welcoming attitude made the whole experience feel personal, not just like another quick meal out. Between the delicious food, the warm service, and the clean, comfortable space, this place really deserves the 5 stars. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend Sultan's if you're in the area! PS the Baklava was the best Baklava ever. We got the original pistachio! It's a must!
