So today I ordered take out for dinner and was really craving a chirashi bowl. I requested for mainly yellowtail with a couple pieces of albacore and paid an extra $3 - $20 for a chirashi bowl. What I ended up getting was half red snapper half yellowtail and a few albacore pieces which is NOT what I wanted. On top of that the yellowtail pieces I did get were bloody with veins like the photos I posted. Who wants to eat that?! So gross and tasted like old blood. So unique and delicious with our fave being the Glendora roll. They have a delicious green mango iced tea and Thai iced tea that we always have to get. For the 15 dollar price point of the one single "I don't know how" roll, the quantity was laughable and the quality was mediocre. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I went to Ezze is for the salmon wasaccio and deep fried soft shell crab. The salmon sashimi with ponzu and spicy sauce is really good and i could eat 2 orders everyday. But i had better. The soft shell crab was not cleaned before battering and frying so there was a big gob of that gucky bitter nasty stuff that they the mustard. It's guts that they didn't clean. Got a bottle of sake and bottle of beer. I got the sashimi special 16 pc mixed. I asked if the fish was fresh and what kind of tuna. The chef told me blue fin. When the sashimi came it. No blue fin, the fish was mushy. Like old fish? And no way it was blue fin. The yellow tail was decent everything else tasted old. I'm not one to ask for a refund or complain. I'll just leave a bad review and never come back. 2 star because the place was clean. Food was disgusting. Maybe it was only mine I don't know. Spent $87 for lunch and left unhappy and hungry. I finally decided to grab some food from this place. Its small and quaint. Everything is clean. I had a little bit of a hard time as all the seating is wood chairs and benches. (due to my own issues at the moment) Other than that food and service is good. Didn't wait long for my food at all. I love the iced green tea and milk. Sadly no refills. Prices are good and they have a good happy hour menu with a good variety of items to pick from. I will definitely be back when life resumes and picking up a to go oder later this week. One star for inaccurate to go order. A "hot night" description was not what I got. My advice is to check everything for TO GO ORDERS!!!.l What we got is nothing what we ordered. Getting home and discovering this was beyond disappointing!! What we got is a cheaper option than what I really ordered. I order a hot night - spicy shrimp and crab, topped with spicy salmon. There's no shrimp or salmon in this roll. Super disappointed!! If you opened and ate it you probably would even tell the difference what you ate. But I don't order California rolls. I like my fish raw! So I noticed right away!! I took the order home and I'm not going back only in case they spit on my food and cuz it's so inconvenient having to drive all the way back! their hair grass sushi roll is bomb. my friend and i were planning to go to broken yolk cafe next door, but came to ezze sushi after finding out they were closed already. we walked in, and it was fairly crowded with two to three tables filled. this was around 2:30pm, so that's pretty nice having the restaurant to be slightly crowded but not too quiet. we sat by the bar, and the area was nice. they have a good and cheap happy hour deal for rolls and drinks, which i highly recommend to go since it's so worth it! we ordered some snacks (appetizers) and a shrimp sashimi, then also ordered two rolls to share. it was quite filling. the servers were real friendly, and they were able to answer my questions. i would definitely recommend coming here during their happy hour deals! read more
