Dishonest business! Charged me $1,000.00 for new brake lines, come to find out they only fixed a small section that should have cost no more than 100.00. I just now had to replace all lines because of rot, cost me another grand. F&F in loves park lied to me years ago about them destroying the spindle arm by stripping it out, costing me 250$! Don't buy your tires here . If you read there warranty you'll see that they don't cover anything unless it's the manufactures fault . I didn't know that I thought they were like other tire places . I got a flat tire and pulled over to get out of the way of traffic and since I drove on the tire while it was flat it voided the warranty (I was in the middle of the street ). If you get a nail , if you hit a pot hole . If the tire doesn't wear evenly , if it's not aired properly and so on ,your not covered . I only had 15,000 miles on 70,000 mile warranty tire . I ended paying over $160 for the tire . Matt left me under the impression that I was covered , until I came in the next day and his store manager told me he didn't hear him. I'll eat this one but they lost my business . I can at least warn people not to do business here . I hope this helps you guys out thanks. read more

F & F put new tires on the truck that were the same size but different make that were originally on the truck but the tires ended up being to big and rubbed. After determining that it wasn't mud flaps or anything else I went back and they replaced them with same tires but smaller with no hassle. I was worried I was going to have a hassle about it but they took care of it with no problem. There service was great and the return policy was hassle free. It's nice to find a business that stands behind their products and service. read more

I have been here a few times and have ALWAYS had excellent customer service! Purchased 4 tires for a car I had, they had the best deal and when I had a flat a few days later they fixed it no charge! Just had major repairs to my rear brakes, cylinders, brake line...basically everything...they gave me the best price, fast repairs and only fixed what I asked them to do! There were no extra "repairs" to be done, no extra charges, just informative and easy to deal with!! My brother had his car done today, on my recommendation, and was just as satisfied! I recently brought my SUV to F & F Cherry Valley because my parents love the Belvidere location so much. I dropped it off describing a squeaking noise coming from the front end. I got a phone call shortly after telling me exactly what was wrong, how much the repairs would be, and how long it would take. The manager was friendly and explained everything to me. I went for an alignment and it was not straight immediately after i left and got on the highway i could tell it was off. I brought it back 3 different time and was told to replace certain parts and they would just redo it later at no cost since it wasnt right.Took it to 3 other mechanics for other opinions and all tell me the parts i was told to replace are fine. I replaced the parts anyways, because i just wanted my car to drive straight And not he to pay again. went back to f&f and they tell me the parts i replaced adjusted the alignment so i need to pay for ANOTHER alignment. What a joke. Avoid this place thy'll try to rip u off if you dont know anything about cars. read more
