I love EOS because of the large variety of equipment. They have machines but that's only the tip of the iceberg. Several sections with dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, med balls, Trx bands, and more. They also have many different turf areas to choose from or tons of benches. While this is the perfect place for many , it is worth noting that it's pretty crowded whether you're working out at 5 am or 9pm. Everyone is very respectful with sharing equipment, but there's definitely a lot of bodies at any given time. That being said, it's a very encouraging atmosphere to see do many people locked in. They dodo offer many different classes. I love their class space and have loved the few I have tried! Group workouts can break up the monotony of your workouts if you're looking for something new.

My review is for this specific location off of Gateway Blvd in Boynton Beach, and this gets my very…read morerare one star per year. I have been a member of LA Fitness for a few years and I have worked out at pretty much all of the PBC locations, and others such as two in Jacksonville and the one in Melbourne. I am a big fan, i LIVE LA Fitness. But this location? The worst possible. Very poorly managed and money-pinched and it shows. Equipment: the whole place needs an overhaul. Equipmemt is frayed and tired looking. The lat pull machine - one of two - has been out of service for months. The water fountains leak and break. The scale in the men's locker does not give the same reading twice if you pray to the gods of scales, the one in the lobby is equally out of calibration and rickety. They do not have mid-point dumb bells, unlike the other locations; in other words their dumb bells weight go up in 5-pound increments instead of 2.5-pound increments, so I drive to the Delray Beach gym on arms and shoulders day. The bars for the press benches look from the 1980s they are dark and without marks to help position hands in a balanced way. Every gym struggles a bit with member behavior racking the weights back where they belong, but here the bad behavior is rampant and ridiculous. There are only two signs about putting weights back. I do not know what management does at other locations, but I do not have to waste time roaming around trying to find the right handle for the cable pulls, or find the matching dumb bell as much as I do here. Staff.... What staff? Could be that adding staff might help with the equipment disarray, I don't know I don't manage gyms but as member I know what looks right and this place is all wrong. If it weren't so convenient to get to from my house i would never go here.

The staff is always…read morefriendly and welcoming, and one thing they consistently do well is keep the facility clean. No matter what time I come in, the gym is well-maintained. That said, the equipment is definitely starting to show its age. A lot of the machines could use some minor tune-ups, and quite a few of the seats have cracked or ripped vinyl that really should be replaced. The cable attachments are another area that needs attention. There aren't enough handle options to begin with, and most of the D-handles are in rough shape. Many have broken straps that have been tied back together in knots, and the rubber grips are worn out or literally falling apart. Replacing these would be an inexpensive upgrade that would make a noticeable difference. My biggest complaint is that they still don't have a dedicated hip thrust machine. Hip thrusts have become one of the most popular lower-body exercises, and it's surprising that a modern commercial gym doesn't offer one. Adding one would be a huge improvement and would keep the gym competitive with newer facilities. Overall, this is a clean gym with an excellent staff, but it's time to invest in updating and maintaining the equipment so it matches the quality of the people who work there.

I know Ella from a previous class which she is not teaching any longer. To my surprise, she was here today and I was so excited. She is an unbelievable instructor and even though I'm pretty fit, I thought I would try this class because it fit into my schedule. It's amazing how new classes attack different muscles in your body and you can see how it helps you. I know that Ella changes her exercise routine regularly. She is an amazing instructor, and I hope to have her again in the future.

Hooray for sunlight and seeing the outside world! I guess I had taken this for granted. The treadmills and stationary bikes sit against one section of these, and I can almost always snag a machine either against the window or just next to it. Then the weight bearing machines are also in front of the next set of windows, so my whole experience here is open, airy, and filled with light. -The music is not too loud. I can listen to my own music or audiobooks easily even with open earbuds. It is even possible to have conversations with real people or with earphones. -The music that is played is 'retro' - from the 90s I think - and I much prefer this over techno music. -The colors of the gym are soothing to the eye. Not gaudy or blaring. Still... fix the water fountain!

They have a wonderful girl at the front Kendra I call her smiley she is so friendly and always smiling and the Asst manager Justin also was helpful. I really liked John as a personal trainer, he is wonderful, so I forgot about the manager and tried to exercise. Did not know i signed for 3 months with HIM and now he is leaving. I no longer want to be a member of this gym and I had been told I can cancel at any time. They have billed me $73.83 for the year, $296 for personal training that won't happen as John is not here and $148.00 for an introductory Personal training 8 sessions that I have not finished as John was not there 2 times. They need to care about their members not just about money.
