The service in this place has gotten worse since my last visit about a month. It has too much business for the small space they occupy, food is acceptable though small and overpriced for what it is. I placed a small eat in order waited for over a half hour at the table, got up and told the management i wanted my money refunded i would not wait 1 more second they said OK done, about 5 mins later they show up with the order and told them again i wanted a refund they said no problem take the food i will refund you later. There just after money here dont be mislead. To this day im still waiting for these liars to refund $28. Do yourself a favor and cross the street to "Coffee for the Soul" your service, experience, pricing & food portions will be better. read more

The only good thing about this place was the pictures and the beautiful/kind cashier. I ordered a cinnamon roll, which was mediocre at best, and a chocolate chip cookie which was inedible. Oh and how could I forget about the overpriced latte that was finished in three sips (one of the better tasting items that day). I have never encountered an inedible cookie, seriously. so sad that this place was on my "Try/Bucketlist" and sadly will NOT be going back. I an not kidding when I say that this place made me fall in love with breakfast again. I am not a breakfast girly at all--I get the egg ick, but this bakery won me over. I came with a friend for brunch and she told me what to order and since it was my first time and I followed orders. I ordered the corn milk iced latte, spicy onion toast, and a ricotta danish. Let me start with the corn milk iced latte--I did not know what to expect but it was crisp, sweat, and had a nutty taste to it. Easily one of my favorite coffee drinks to this day. Facade is a great addition to Coral Gables. I walked here the other day because I wanted to try their sourdough baguette- it was fresh and delicious, all of their other pastries look great as well. I loved the vibe of this restaurant! The baristas felt like friends, everyone was kind. I liked the large refrigerators with produce when you enter, but I wish they had a little more seating. I ordered the spicy onion toast with carmelized onions, a fluffy egg and chili oil on sourdough. You can tell all the ingredients are top notch, but it was so salty I could barely finish it. You need way less salt when carmelizing onions! But other than that i loved the idea and the flavor combo. Their coffee was amazing!! Great new spot on Giralda for breakfast. We actually came for the cinnamon rolls but unfortunately they didn't have any that morning. We had the avocado toast, eggs with proper sausage and sourdough and a side of cornbread. We also ordered a flat white and an espresso. Just a couple of comments; the flat white was delicious but the cup was teeny tiny. We also expected warm cornbread but it came out cold. The server said to just ask them to heat it up next time. The staff was very welcoming. The place has a modern yet warm feel. The tables are a bit too close together but not terrible. Wow! What a place. Also definitely no longer a hidden gem. My wife and I woke up wanting to go eat some delicious breakfast. We initially tried going to Ophelia's however, the line was insane and people were standing around waiting for their food. So we decided to go try another place on our list, Façade. Upon arriving, we absolutely loved the atmosphere. It felt alive and vibin'. We ordered two of the Facade Morning Sandwiches, the Roasted Baby Gold Potatoes, the Sourdough French Toast 2.0, a Hibiscus tea, and the Cornflake Matcha. Everything was bought to us nice and fresh. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Parmesan, garlic aioli and chives helped elevate this dish to a completely new level. The Sourdough French Toast was insanely amazing beyond mere words. The cream, the syrup, the jam were all so refreshing together and separately. The sandwiches however stole the show for me. My wife got hers traditional. I wanted a little extra so I ordered mine with bacon. The sandwich comes with a poppy brioche bun, scrambled eggs, cheddar, garlic aioli and chives. I am so glad I got mine with bacon as it added an additional detail of texture in an otherwise extremely creamy sandwich. Overall, this place was amazing. I'm so glad we went here and this will definitely become a go to spot for us in the future. I had been wanting to try this place out since it opened and I finally got my husband to agree to go since it's not close to home and coral gables parking is usually a mission but we did it and glad we did although I do have to mentions it's pricy at $120 for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids (my toddler only had 2 scrambled eggs). As a plant-based eater I was thrilled to see that they had 2 fully vegan options right on the menu and I was not disappointed at all. I ordered both the avocado toast and the yogurt bowl. The avocado toast was delicious with the vegan garlic sauce drizzled on top took this toast to the next level, packed with flavor. The yogurt bowl was an explosion of flavors in every single bite, each one different and more delicious than the last. I can savor the quality of the ingredients. I do have to mention the papaya portion was very small. My husband had the French toast and he said it was really good, soft but not mushy and very flavorful. My oldest (9yrs old) had the hard boiled eggs and the chocolate croissant, she devoured both. We also had a fresh OJ which was very good and my husband had a latte (a bit small for the price). I wanted to try the cafe con leche but they didn't have decaf and I don't do regular coffee. It's a great vibe and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The line was extremely long -- almost a 45-minute wait just to order -- and once you finally get your food, the seating situation is chaotic and loud. The staff are always friendly and happy to answer any questions. The items are quite expensive for the portion sizes. The egg and sausage toast was almost 20$ yet you only get one piece of toast. Everything is delicious but not the best value. My only issue is the coffee. I have tried the tiramisu latte (which had too much coco powder), the corn milk latte, and the cafe con leche. I finally came to try it. It was a very busy Sunday so maybe it's better to try on a less busy day. The macciato was very bitter but decent. The onion ricotta pastry was very good but may have been better hot. The onion chilli toast was a great concept. The eggs were both over and under done. That white gelatinous goop you get when the egg isn't fully cooked was present. It also was so sweet it could have been dessert. The sourdough bread was great so I'll try toast and butter if I go back. My daughter's bkfst sandwich was decent as well but nothing amazing. The service was just overrun. They tried but it's hard to acknowledge customers when you are trying to stay afloat. The glasses at the water station also needed to be rinsed better. The interior looked gorgeous in the photos and I was hoping the food and pastries would match the aesthetic. Our first attempt to visit was met with a locked door as they're not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. I cursed to myself knowing I should have checked online in advance. Our second attempt was successful! Upon arrival, I was pleased to see a sign that said "No Laptops No WiFi Speak to Your Neighbor," although it didn't seem like the rule was being enforced as there was a woman with a laptop at a booth table. Oh well! We approached the counter and skimmed the menu and decided upon the Morning Façade Sandwich. It was very tasty and the bread was lovely. We then opted for the Cinnamon Roll which was the star of the show! Loved every bite. Would absolutely come back just for the Cinnamon Roll. My iced dirty chai was a bit of a disappointment. Would probably skip coffee upon my next visit and just scoop up a pastry. Oh and water is self serve. For my moms out there, be advised that they did not have high chairs but it's spacious enough to bring a travel/umbrella stroller for your tot. I also ordered the pain au chocolate and although the taste was good, I'm pretty sure it was a day old croissant. It came cold as well, making the day-old more obvious. That and the mamey are really the only reason I gave a 4 star, because the flavor and rest of the food was delicious. My friends got the breakfast sandwich and the mushroom eggs. I tasted both and were delish. The mushroom eggs comes with a thick slice of sourdough and the sando has chorizo and comes in a sort of brioche bun. Food sizes are not super large portions and I loved that. We also all ordered coffees, which were superb, both hot and cold. Delicious flavor on all, and they even have pistachio milk.
