I stopped by the other night to get takeout slices and was so happy with each slice! The crust was fresh, chewy and crisp. The pasta slice had al dente pasta, well balanced flavors and a little less sauce than others but was delicious. The buffalo chicken slice had a lot of flavor and wasn't too greasy which I've seen in other buffalo chicken slices elsewhere. The other slice was also so fresh- the sauce was really flavorful! Everyone was nice and helpful and the restaurant was really cute so would love to go back and dine in next time.

Such a great spot! I was looking for food in the area and I found this place. I'm so glad I stopped! The employees were friendly and nice. They took my order promptly and were very cordial during my time there. The pizza was delicious! I'd definitely stop back here again. There was indoor and outdoor seating, and there were plenty of pies that were ready to go. They had a great variety of toppings and pizza choices.

    Upside Upside-down Sicilian slice

Upside down slice is EVERYTHING! I can feel the love that is put into this food and I also ordered to go and all the sides I requested were done ( what is a pleasant delight since I'm living out of a temporary space and don't have all the normal things I usually would). I also absoluety loved their shrimp parmigiana, good quality shrimp, perfect ratio of shrimp to marinara sauce and bread toasted perfectly!

First time ordering. They called it a Chicago pizza. Pretty sure this is not a Chicago pizza. Certainly not a traditional Chicago deep dish. Basically was a Sicilian but in a pie shape instead of square. I liked that it was cheesy, saucy and buttery though so I will order again! Very tasty! I have to wonder what their regular pizza is like if this is considered Chicago. Ok ordered second time and got a variety of slices. The Sicilian and Hawaiian were great but the eggplant roll is sooooooooo good!!! And big for only $5.50! Yum.

So, we're visiting my niece in Brooklyn. After a day of babysitting her newborn, we were ready for some good Italian food. So I check my usual YELP and Google reviews and found Fabio's, just 2 blocks away. We made a great choice! I'm a NY born Italian, so I know good Italian food (thank you Grandma Nitti). I wanted the Gnocchi al Forno, but they were out. So I had the Cavatelli instead. Absolutely a good choice. My girlfriend had one of the Daily Specials, Fettuccine Rosatti, with sun dried tomatoes, shrimp, radichio, in garlic and oil. Another fabulous choice. Ramon was a wonderful server and very attentive (OK, so we were the only ones in there on a Thursday evening). We will be back during this trip or the next.

    Marsala

Been in the area for 10 years and I didn't think Nonna's was good so we never ordered. When Fabio's came in I thought it was more of the same. Went there this week and ordered real food and was so pleasantly surprised. It's very good! Got the chicken francese and the Marsala, both exceeded my expectations. I'm sorry I didn't come eat sooner and so happy it's now in my rotation!

Eggplant Pizza. Added toppings for $3 each. Mushroom x2, olives, onions, and spinach.
    Ashley M.

I got the Eggplant pizza. Size was generous for an 8 piece at $21 but it just didn't have the "WOW" flavor unfortunately. Even after paying for additions at $3 each ON TOP of the $21. I added mushrooms x2, onions, spinach, and olives. Presentation was great though. No gushing sense of an "mhmmm" aroma when you first open the box. Pizza definitely needs to work on seasoning/ingredients.

Fabio's is a very good local pizzeria in Plainfield, NJ. Whether you dine in, take out, or get delivery they give you everything you need to dine. The pizza is pretty good and the wings are just right. Would definitely order from Fabio's again while in the area.

We came here after a World Cup match between England and Norway. Of course, England won, and we were festive. We were slightly late to our reservation without any problem. We were promptly seated, and to our surprise, the restaurant was actually bigger than how it looks from outside. We started with fried calamari and shrimp with marinara sauce and a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. For the main entree, I selected traditional lasagna verde with three meat Ragù and Bechamel, while my partner chose homemade fettuccine al Ragù with pork and beef. We had a wonderful dinner here. Starters: Fried calamari and shrimp- this was a good start although missing a little flavor to the batter but it was good nonetheless. Whipped burrata-this was delicious but it could have been even better with some more of the delicious house bread that we were offered upon arrival. Drinks: Balsamic peach spritz (not pictured) the graduate's favorite drink of the day! She raved about it the entire time. Aperol spritz- very refreshing with a beautiful citrus twist! I loved it. Old fashioned- my boyfriend throughly enjoyed this classic drink. Entrees: Oven roasted branzino- AMAZING! The cook on the branzino was perfect and the broccolini and mini carrots added a beautiful crunch to my experience. I could have taken another order to go. My boyfriend had the house ravioli which was salmon and after taking one bite, I can attest that it was INCREDIBLY delicious! Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals: Ribeye steak Lamb chops with spinach mashed potatoes Lamb chops with roasted potatoes Roasted Chicken Rustichella We ended the celebration with dessert: Olive oil cake- not too sweet and fluffy. Tiramisu- sinfully good! Overall, we had an incredible dining experience and would highly recommend it.

The room is small and romantic, homemade pasta hangs in the front window, and the whole evening felt less like dining out and more like being invited into someone's family table in Florence. We started with the fritto misto, a well executed mix of fried fish and vegetables, alongside an insalata caprese that let fresh tomatoes, burrata and basil speak for themselves. From there we went family style, which is really the only way to do it here. The bucatini cacio e pepe was as much performance as dish, mixed tableside directly in the cheese wheel. The fusilloni di Gragnano from Puglia paired scampi with burrata, cherry tomatoes and arugula for a bright, briny plate, while the tagliatelle verdi brought a rich wild boar ragu finished with fresh black truffle. The two standouts, though, were the agnolotti ossobuco with veal sauce and pecorino fondue rounded out with thyme and lemon, and the lasagna Bolognese. That lasagna, layered with meat ragu, tomato and bechamel, may be the best I have ever had. We paired the meal with a bottle of Salvioni 2022 Rosso di Montalcino, aromatic and beautifully matched to the food. The space is cozy and intimate rather than sprawling, so a reservation is a smart call. Everything else, from the food to the atmosphere to the sense that someone's nonna was cooking just for us, made this one of the most memorable meals in NYC. We would return without hesitation.

I can't say enough great things about the decor the ambience and imagining all of the past goings on in this restaurant. It's been watching over Brooklyn for well over 100 years now! And that's why the kitchen which is at the very back of the restaurant has full glass windows so that you can see exactly what's going on in there. I guess some of these mob guys were paranoid and rightly so consider considering their history. I arrived with my friend on a Wednesday evening about 6 PM and there were some scattered tables but by 7 PM it was mobbed (pun intended ) in there!! our waiter was affable and patient and a quite enjoyable fellow.
