Fabio's is one of my favorite gem homemade pasta spots. It's literally a hole in the wall! The best part is that it's 10 steps from the beach so you can enjoy your pasta while you watch the sunset. Perfect date night or hang with friends! The staff is so friendly and as a resident homemade pasta connoisseur, the food is a 10/10!

WOW! What a surprise! Fabios Pasta is truly a hidden gem, the kind of cozy spot you might walk past but absolutely shouldn't. We came on a beautiful sunny day and immediately noticed how warm and personal the atmosphere felt. It was so sweet watching the owner interact with a regular, he knew their name and their usual order, which says a lot about the kind of place this is. My partner and I stopped by for a light bite and shared the fettuccine truffle mushroom pasta and their homemade tiramisu. The pasta was perfect, creamy, well-seasoned, and the truffle flavor was balanced (not overpowering like it can be at other places). You can really taste the care in the food. Fabio himself is incredibly welcoming and truly embodies the heart of Italian hospitality. If you're anywhere near Venice Beach, definitely give this place a try and support a local gem. You won't regret it!

Food was yummy here!! Prices aren't actually as cheap because some sauces and add ons are more... Service is quick and they bring the food to you once you order. Outside is cute on the beach in the alley! Heaters too

This place is a hidden gem! Big variety of pasta that can be customized with different sauces and toppings for very reasonable price. It has seating outside overlooking the ocean and by the boardwalk - perfect for a beautiful sunny day. Very friendly staff. I'll be coming back again soon!

Delicious handmade pasta with an ocean view at a reasonable price? I don't think I can recommend Fabio's enough. Fabio himself was extremely kind and recommended some great pairings. Despite him being the only one working, our food was out very quick. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked with a nice texture. Both sauces were also very fresh, flavorful, and creamy. Solid portion sizes too. You order at the counter and sit outside. Either they call your name or bring it out to you. It can get a little cold at night, but there are heat lamps thoughtfully placed out by the tables. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well. The beautiful bowls are also such a memorable and unique touch. 100% recommend and I will certainly be back!

Entrées: * Gnocchi Bolognese - rich, tomato-forward, and comforting. Adding sausage was a great choice and balanced the dish really well. * Rigatoni Alfredo (with chicken) - creamy, smooth, and satisfying. The chicken added extra protein and made it more filling without being too heavy. Overall: Fabio's is a great choice if you're looking for a casual, local-feeling spot near the beach. Dining outside with the ocean breeze really enhances the Venice experience. It can be a little challenging to find a table during busy times, but it's worth it. Service & Ambience: The owner was especially friendly and welcoming, which made the experience feel warm and personal. The seating area is shared with other businesses, so be sure to sit only at tables designated for the restaurant. Out of courtesy, we also returned our plates after finishing, which felt fitting for the laid-back, local setup.

Such a cute unassuming place in a side street off the Venice boardwalk. Just far enough to escape the noise. Cute walk up counter order, with quick service, and outdoor patio seating with heat lamps at night. The food was so fresh, the spaghetti feeling a little extra a la dente. The portions are very generous. We shared a cacio e pepe spaghetti and black truffle papparadelle pasta with added mushrooms. Dont forget the garlic bread, you could every table raving about it next to us! I preferred the truffle pasta over the pepe but they were both nice and creamy!

We went for a friends birthday dinner and I'm so glad I joined. I never knew this little gem existed. You almost don't know this place is there as it's literally a door in the wall with a Window. We ordered a plethora of items and everything was delicious. I especially liked the ravioli that was textured perfectly. The pesto was also really good as well as the spicy rigatoni. We completed the evening with a homemade tiramisu and it was everything I hoped it would be. Fabio was as fabulous as his food! He was smiling the entire time and you could tell took pride in what he cooked. I will certainly return!

This was some of the best pasta I've ever had and the gentleman working the front counter was very sweet.

I ordered the potato gnocchi with the black truffle sauce and added burrata. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and the sauce was so beautifully balanced with black truffle. My boyfriend ordered the ravioli with marinara sauce and added Italian sausage as suggested by the gentleman taking our order. Ravioli was amazing!

This place is the real deal. Fabio, the owner, is truly Italian -- from Northern Italy -- and you can taste that authenticity in every bite. It's very much a hole-in-the-wall setup: you order at the counter, pay, and then Fabio personally brings your food to one of the small tables set up outside. The whole experience is minimal, efficient, and completely focused on quality. As an Italian born and raised in Italy, I find it very hard to eat pasta outside of Italy without being disappointed -- but this place is a true testament to how it should be done. The pasta is fresh, and the ingredients are divine. We tried the fettuccine with truffle and mushrooms and the rigatoni with basil and shrimp. We pretty much licked the plates clean. The outdoor seating is simple and cute, tucked into a little alley just a few steps from Venice Beach. It can get a bit breezy with the ocean air -- we visited in February -- but they have several outdoor heat lamps placed around the tables. I'd still recommend bringing an extra layer just in case. Being Venice Beach, you'll likely see some quirky characters strolling by, but that's part of the atmosphere. Parking-wise, there are paid lots nearby, but they can be expensive. I'd suggest parking a few streets away in the residential area where you can usually find free street parking.

Ospi Venice is a memorable spot with a beautiful atmosphere, great knowledgeable servers, and amazing unforgettable dishes. Our server was a gem, Jessica had the best recommendations and what she suggested we ordered. She's a keeper. - Crispy Provolone: Gooey stretchy provolone with a crispy Italian bread crumb crust. Side of warm marinara. If you love cheese this is your dish. - Neopolitan Meatballs: Lets face it. I am a meatball snob. I was taught by my Italian Portuguese Mama Rose who took me in when I first moved away from home and taught me authentic italian cuisine. These meatballs almost (ALMOST) reminded me of cooking with her - soft, tender, and loaded in flavor. - Kale: recommended by Jessica and I can see why. This dish was one of the best kale salads I have ever had. Get it. You won't regret it! - Margherita with Pepperoni Piiza: the thinnest pizza crust I have ever had! And because of it, each ingredient was left to shine. I knew it was a must order when every table also had this pizza. - Tonnarelli: a cacio e pepe simple and so good every ingredient worked perfectly together. Pasta al dente and tossed with just the right amount of sauce. - Tiramisu, Connolis (another Jessica recommendation), Brownie. As full as I was I tried it all. No regrets whoever their pastry chef is knows exactly how to get customers addicted. Keep her/him & Jessica...lol! - Hot Girl Summer Cocktail: gin and honey? Yes please. - Extra Dirty Martini: Perfection. That's all I can say.

Appetizers: Focaccia (sfincione) - 5/10 (GF rating 4/10) Super greasy, like, very. Make sure to ask for extra olive oil on the side, as that does make it better as they do have delicious olive oil. The bread seems like it's also cooked in olive oil, but frankly if they made their bread and had olive oil on the side it would've been much better. The bread itself though, ugh that whole bottom was wet in oil. Super unfortunate. Solid but oily as heck. Rice Croquettes (suppli in Bianco) - 5/10 (GF rating 2/10) Forgettable. Nothing special, no sauce paired with it. They're mediocre. I wouldn't get this again. Mains: Lamb Ragu (malloreddus) - 9/10 (GF rating 7.5/10) Extremely tasty. Pasta was very well cooked, lamb meat was perfect, as goes for the cheese on top and the sauce. Amazing meal. Would've been far better without having the subpar appetizers beforehand. Cheese and pepper pasta (cacio e Pepe) - 5/10 (GF rating 6.5/10) Non meat pastas aren't my thing, so take my rating with a grain of salt, as I would never get this myself. Jam on top was awfully bitter, quite literally inedible. The crouton like things were whatever. The panna cotta itself, as in only the white part, VERY good. After painstakingly doing our best to scrape off the jam, we were able to get to the base, and that itself tasted great (bar getting even a hint of the syrupy jam flowing into your bite). Service was fine. Didn't care for the ambiance.

I ordered the huevos rancheros and they asked me if sunny side up eggs were ok and I requested over easy if possible. They served sunny side up eggs to me (not a big problem, but why even ask?) I also don't like that they serve hot lattes in those plastic water cups (first of all, that looks cheap like did you run out of mugs? Second of all that means these cups are too hot to hold for a couple minutes!) When I visited the WeHo location, I remember liking my latte (that was served in a mug), so I was pretty disappointed. Also just anything hot in a plastic container makes me feel weird consuming. Also justice for those sitting on those tiny stools, because not only are they tiny, but you're in the busy aisle so people are always bumping in to you! Wish I had a chair with a back. One good thing was that this place doesn't rush you when you're seated and finished eating, which I really appreciate! They let us sit and yap for awhile when lots of other places try to get more tables open. Overall, it's a cute place, but I'm never excited to go when this restaurant is chosen lol.
