The food Was AMAZING! I got the chilaquiles. They were so delicious and the chips were not soggy at all. The Tacos were good as well. I would highly recommend this place if you want some delicious Tacos in Beaverton. The staff was very welcoming and kind.

Fabos Tacos is currently located in the Breakside Brewery food carts pod (not updated on Yelp/Apple Maps). I got the birria quesadillas which were made fairly quickly. It comes with three pieces and consome. My quesadillas were more juicy/saturated compared to my friends' even though we ordered the same thing- so just a heads up that there is some slight variability. The consome and quesadillas were delectable and I would definitely come back again.

My friends & I wanted to try a New Mexican food joint out & we stumbled upon Fabos Tacos on our search & decided to give it a shot. It's located in China Town. Parking is street parking only, since it's downtown. The restaurant has a cool vibe, more modern with touches of traditional taqueria decor. The food was good! I unfortunately did not get to try the al pastor since we went later in the evening & they didn't have anymore, but they are known for their al pastor. No complaints about the food, everything tasted good. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the price, I do feel it is a little expensive especially for the amount of food we got. $4 each for the small sides of beans & rice was a lot in my opinion. As well as $4 for the small cup of horchata I got. The hot sauces were flavorful but lacked heat. Which can be a good or bad thing depending on your preference. Ordering was easy, they had menus at the register. The cashier was nice & friendly & brought our food to our table. Overall, the food was good but I don't know if I'll be coming here often due to the price & it just being far from where I live. But if you are in the downtown/China Town area, definitely give them a try!

Soyrizo tacos are so delicious! 3 soyrizo tacos for $12, which is a steal! Make sure to support local businesses because they're staff are so lovely and kind. Love the lighting inside. It's super fun with neon lights and Latin pop!

I cannot stop talking about how incredible this place is. For all you vegetarians out there, get the soyrizo sope plate. So flavorful especially adding their green chile sauce. Perfect amount of serving for one and the crema and quesofresco complimented the soyrizo. One thing I wish they had was offering sour cream on the size for my arroz. Looking to eat like a hot mess and munch on some meaty soft goodness, order the quesobirria! Your mouth will not be disappointed with the juicy flavorful goodness. Oh and don't forget to drizzle the green chile sauce in there. Two birrias is literally enough for one person. Hitting three birrias might make you want to unbutton your pants. Also don't miss on the margaritas! I ordered one as a special request which was mezcal and guava. Panty dropper right there. This is going to be my go to spot and I recommend taking your out of towner friends to this spot. Lastly, service is incredible. The staff is so welcoming, they really do make you feel at home.

These are some good tacos! We were on our way to a different taco shop but we saw the Al pastor on a spit and had to change plans. We got the quesotacos with carne asada, Al pastor tacos, chilaquiles with carne asada, and taquitos with pollo in a cup. Everything was delicious! Definitely a repeat for us.

Fabos Tacos recently opened their full restaurant, after years of operating out of a grab and go window. I think their takeout window is still open but this is a nice option to sit down out of the rain and enjoy the meal. It's located right in Old Town so it's not everyone's favorite place to go. They have metal on the doors and windows to protect them. But cool spots like these, and the neighboring Ground Kontrol, are what will revitalize this neighborhood so it's worth patronizing them if you can! This interior space is cool! A great wall mural, a Jarritos display wall, and neon signs make for nice photo backdrops. They've got table and bar seating for about 30-40 people. Service is great. They make all their food fresh daily and really know their ingredients, so you can ask for modifications. I got a burrito with vegan filling (made with soyrizo) but kept cheese. This burrito was big and tasty! Good texture. I enjoyed it with both the red and green salsas. This business has an almost cult-like following for a reason. They treat folks like family, make great authentic food and come up with fun specials, and are open late night in a city that goes to bed early. Definitely recommend supporting this biz!

What a good spot for lunch! If you work downtown you have to come try this place out. Clean inside, fabulous guacamole, super great birria, did I mention they also have a margarita flight?! Need I say more...? Can't wait to come back and try more of their food.

This little shop is so authentic! I love their birria tacos, but the rest of their tacos are also delicious. In addition, I had the pollo, asada, and pastor tacos. Add a little bit of the habenero sauce on top and these are fire. The guacamole was perfectly balanced with lime and cilantro. Will definitely come back another time!

If you haven't tried the birria ramen I highly suggest you do!! Came across Fabos Tacos on IG and it exceeded expectations. The young lady at the register was friendly and helpful with serving suggestions, brought and extra plate for our toddler, and was super understanding when there was spill. An added bonus is they have NewMix! Can't go wrong with anything here. Looking forward to the next time we visit Portland! read more

Fabos Tacos has the BEST tacos and birria. 100/10!! If you're missing those Cali tacos this is the spot to go to in Oregon. My boyfriend and I drive from Hillsboro to Downtown Portland just for their tacos. The service is also 100/10 they are so friendly. They also have birria ramen that's so delicious!! read more

Me and my girls family was downtown about to go to ground control and we stopped in. OMG Great tacos I had two chicken tacos sooooo good but the star was the birria ramen! Can't wait to go back most definitely one of the best Mexican joints in the city. Great service as well. read more

Located in Chinatown, lots of parking available. (Parking kitty, or a parking lot $10 Fee) Friendly staff, who greet you as soon as you walk in. We've only been twice and the workers remembered my partner and I, shows they care about their customers. Food is amazing, we typically get 8 tacos, 4 birria and 4 Al pastor (Al pastor comes with pineapple like in Mexico), we also get 1 Jarrito Cantarito and 1 Modelo agua frescas and Pay $47 before tip. Meat is cooked as it's order to ensure it's always fresh. Their salsas are delicious, green is mild and red is a bit spicier. The restaurant is clean and well taken care of. Their decor of El Chavó Del Ocho, La India Maria, and other Mexican legends is a great representation of Mexico culture.Very authentic place, family owned and operated. Fabos tacos is an amazing spot for authentic Mexican food. Recommend if you're in the Portland area They also play really good music. read more

Bomb food. The best tacos in town for sure! I've been a customer for a long time and love there food. My only issue is there hours. I've called to place in order and they stated they are closed and blamed Google for messing it up but I checked there hours on IG before trying to place an order. Also anytime I try to place a delivery for door dash, it says they are closed. read more

My boyfriend and I are visiting Portland and came across this spot. This was the best food we've had while visiting. Tacos were 10/10. I got the carne, birria, and pastor queso tacos. Spent like $70 here for two meals and two drinks about two weeks ago. Left hungry. Food is ok but not worth the price. Smallest tacos I've ever had. Very little rice and beans. The size of the consomé was like maybe 4 oz. I'm sorry but this is just extremely overpriced for just OK food. i wish i took pics to share omg but yes 10/10 incredible late night bites i got one each of the asada, birria, and al pastor tacos (sin queso bc im lactose intollerant ) the meats were hella flavorful super marinated tender delicious the tacos came out so quick and ya it was $3 a pop classic taco pricing the gal at the counter mentioned they get slammed after the bars close - so if ur on the prowl downtown and come by between stops, def hit em up right then and there read more

The flavor was so rich and there was heat but it wasn't overwhelming the flavor. Very very good. He didn't try the red sauce so I didn't get to try it. The pickled vegetables though. OM*G they are THE BEST I've ever tasted. Such good acidity and flavorful as *^%# YES this stuff was amazing. He said next time he's going to pack the box full of them lol. Frankly I'd go there JUST for those veggies and hot sauce. He said 5 stars GREAT value and great flavor. So we will absolutely be back!!! Oh and next time (sorry y'all) I'll get pictures!!!

We ordered the project matcha latte and jasmine matcha latte with oat milk. *milk substitute is oat or almond but no soy milk. They have a coconut based matcha drink though! Prices are reasonable and on par with other tea spots. I really enjoyed our drinks. Perfect proportion for jasmine and matcha, one did not overpower the other. Not super sweet. You can taste the quality. I am so excited to come back and try more drinks. They also have a few other treats, like brownies. For kids, they have non caffeinated drinks. Staff is friendly and quick. We came on a Friday around lunch hour and maybe waited 5 minutes! I hear their coconut cloud matcha is a favorite amongst returning customers :)

The owner came out to tell us the color is like that because the meat is marinated. The piece she had seemed better cooked than the one I had. She offered to make another batch for us but at that point we were done. She graciously let us try their bbq pork which was good in flavor and fatty. Sadly, I was pretty disappointed. Even though their menu had a lot of different flavors to choose from, it was all the same things. The flavors were all on the bland side and it was expensive for what you get. Being chinese myself, I do hope they do well though in this market!

What a disappointment this place this. The positive reviews have to be fake or just friends and family because this was literally the worst Mexican food we've ever had. Tiny tortillas. EXTREMELY GREASY like what?? And they charge for chips and salsa. A total scam and disrespect to hispanic cuisine and service. read more
