love that ambiance and that there's indoor seating, a bar, and outdoor seating options with play areas for the kids and a potty area for the doggos. In terms of the food cart options my hot takes are that a lot of them are mediocre. The stand out cart id say is the fish and chips. I also regularly get the seared salmon bowl from the ramen cart. read more

Very good food and amazing service. The waiters were all amazing and very kind. The outdoor seating was nice and heated. My only problem and this is the reason it was four stars is they will not let you sit outside in Winter. Besides from that though, I think it is very great place. Very nice job! read more

Love the variety of the food carts and the outdoor seating area. They have a beer hall area as well that's covered. More than half of the food carts were not open when we were there a little before 4pm. Many of these carts the food prices were outrageous. I love the fact that you can go with a few people craving different things and everyone can find something. We had a beautiful day with lots of sunshine. The tables do have umbrellas which is a plus. There are a lot of bees so if you are allergic be careful. There is a parking lot across the street as well as some street parking. It's been a couple years since I've been here and if you are grabbing a quick bite to eat for lunch this may work for you. read more

I'm BG's Food Cartel is a fantastic food truck park. They have a bar with reasonable drink prices and an indoor or outdoor dining. There are people areas along with dog areas and a play area for the kiddos. The area is very clean and well maintained. There are almost 30 different trucks that make deciding a very tough decision. A variety of dining options are hot dogs, pizza, Chinese, Thai, Ethiopian, Middle eastern, Crepes, Boba, BBQ and much more. We both wanted noodles and decided on Chinese because the Pho truck had a line. Our order was taken quickly and our meals were made to order, very fresh and tasty. The taphouse area has some covered seating and there is some indoor tables and bathrooms inside. They also have a lot of tables outside. Went around 2 it was so hot but I'll definitely come back when it's a bit cooler but other then that loved it! Tons of food options here! Lots of vegan and dietary-restriction options available, too which is always a plus! There's lots of space to choose from if you want to sit at the bar patio or picnic areas by the carts. The lines can be a bit long during peak times but the carts and the bar were friendly and even shared a few jokes with us which was fun! There's a big parking lot, but if you go at peak times it may be a real battle to get a spot, luckily the bus runs fairly close if you're wanting to skip that. I'd definitely recommend this place to someone looking for lots of options, I know I'll be back to check the other places out in the future. read more

While on a cross-country trip, we stopped in Oregon and met my daughters best friend for dinner. Parking around the area can be tough, but be patient. There are a lot of food trucks to choose from, and I opted for Ramen and Hawaiian food. I'll do a separate review. There's a spot for children to run around and play. My grand kids enjoyed it. As a whole the place is full of trucks offering a variety of cuisine choices. Some open some closed. Had a terrible burrito and burrito bowl from Mexico Lindo and a delicious green curry from e-San Thai that took forever to arrive in the window. Sadly it wasn't a busy day and the picnic tables were plentiful and empty. Made me wonder what was taking these vendors so long to fill orders. The quad is open and the people were friendly. Parking nearby was ok. There are a handful of new carts that lean towards the sweet side. Fun spot to go on a dry day. Unfortunately it was a bad day for Mexican food and a slow wait for Thai. read more

Ever since we came to the Portland area we were expecting a great food cart situation, but wherever we go it is just not what we were used to in the Bay Area. Creative, fusion options - something interesting. We've been to quite a handful in Portland but while they do have some variety of types of foods, they're basically just little Russian, Thai, Chinese, Burger, BBQ and taco places. This food truck area has a lot of trucks. And a lot of variety too - waffle sandwiches, corn dogs with Cheeto dust, creative grilled cheese with tomato soup dipping sauce, sweet and savory takoyaki and many other interesting options. Our second time here. Did not disappoint! We were with a group of 13. So fun! I had the cod fish and chips at The Flying ??? And hubby had the jambalaya from Montage. Both were delicious. Want to go back to try a few more options. Cool place! read more

We've been coming here for years every time we're in town we come here! Love the outdoor ambiance, it's so chill and I love it that we get to bring our dogs, eat, have a beer and watch a game on tv! Wow! What an amazing place! Nothing like this where I live... unfortunately! I counted 26+ food trucks (carts) here with everything from boba, to grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup. There's even an artificial grass covered playing field for kids! Take away or eat here at covered picnic tables. Cool vibe and lively atmosphere. This place is a dream come true, but if your not good at making a decision your in trouble... Lots of options and there is a beer deck with many selections and lots of shade. I am not sure who runs this place but it is really well taken care of and extra clean. Food was fantastic, I had the jambalaya from the gourmet Mac and cheese truck and at our table we had a gyro salad, calamari, mini empanadas, fried artichokes, grilled cheese and tomato soup and the chicken bites on a stick. Everything was excellent and quick and next time we are in Portland will be visiting again. Thanks to the bartender that was helpful in paring our drinks with our food orders is always helpful in making a decision. Take some cash for tips for the bar the card terminal does not give the option. Overall a fantastic place that can satisfy even the pickiest eaters. read more

With over 20+ carts, it's truly a culinary paradise with so many diverse and unique dishes! Whenever I fly over to Portland to visit family, we stay in Beaverton specifically for the food carts here and come 3x/week. The MOCKing Bird Cart (5/5) - Meaty vegan burgers bursting with flavor!est in PDX and catchy name! The MAC Daddy is a delicious sloppy joe with a hearty Chik'n patty sandwiched between a warm pretzel bun and a heap of cashew mac and cheese delightfully spilling out. While it seems like an odd pairing, they flavors blended well together and tickled my taste buds. The BBQ Bakun is smothered in bbq sauce with a thick slice of bakun. The side of rosemary mac salad that comes complementary with the sandwiches is surprisingly tasty even reheated and pairs well with the mac and cheese, great complementary flavors. Thai Bloom (5/5) - Totally worth the hype, the veggie Pad Se Ew was hands-down among the best I've had! Fresh veggies, perfectly cooked, al dente noodles coated with sauce. Truly bursting with flavor in every bite. Bar (5/5) - The Loganberry Cider is delicious and not too sweet or dry. I wasn't as big of a fan of the Passion Fruit Guava. Pizzaforte Cart (4/5) - The wood-fire pizza is tasty, the Neapolitan Napoli is a bit misleading. The Napoli Pizza is cheese pizza and isn't Neapolitan style Margarita pizza with big dollops of fresh mozzarella cheese. It's not a big deal, but I would just set expectations accordingly, hubby wasn't too pleased about it. Smaaken Waffle Cart (3/5) - The scrumptious Vegan Sardou waffle sandwich hits the spot!, the service is stand-offish. The creamy braised spinach & artichokes was bursting with flavor sandwiched between 2 hot crispy waffles topped with lemon aioli. I appreciate how the waffles weren't too thick or dense and didn't overpower the sandwich. I wasn't a big fan of the fried Ota tofu, it was a bit tough and didn't quite mesh well with the sandwich. Hold the tofu! Glad I added Tillamook cheddar cheese, which elevated the flavor. While the sandwich was filling, it would be nice to have a small side of fries or chips included. Skip the tepid fries! The staff is just kind of rude in addition to a long wait of at least 15-20 min. After the 3rd time, I threw in the towel. Excited to come back for the MOCKingBird and to explore the other carts for more culinary dishes! read more

For a while, I missed the crepe food pod that left, but I noticed a new one has come, P&N Creperie, and they have a very similar sweet & savory menu. I enjoyed their breakfast crepe that had eggs, bacon, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. It was a very hot day, and just a few carts away at Pre-Tea, I got a refreshing iced calamansi mango green tea. I had an Italian sandwich from the PDX Kettle cart. It was delicious, but very expensive. It did have fresh ingredients so I understand the cost, but I'm on the fence about whether it was completely worth it It was mortadella, ham, spicy peppers, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, mayo, and mustard on multi-grain bread, with a side of cornbread. It was a very satisfying meal. This space has a good selection of carts overall, and plenty of seating. Parking is tough though despite the nearby parking lot. This is such a great spot! This gathering of restaurants is the perfect opportunity to try different foods and/or hang out with your friends and not have to fight on where to eat. There's parking close by, but be prepared during peak hours for spots to fill up. The grouping of restaurants surrounds the seating area and includes a couple green spaces, one for people and of for animals to do their business. This is perfect for when you place an order and need to wait a bit for your food. You can keep an eye out for when your order is ready while browsing other spots or sitting. The variety of food is awesome too, you can find a bit of everything from poke to bbq and breakfast to dessert. Our group ordered a few things and shared them all, this is great especially when you don't know what to choose. If you're looking for something specific, be sure to check their hours as some places are open at different times than others and they sometimes sell out of items. read more

Nice variety of typical-traditional and surprising food carts! Not my favorite one in the Portland area, but still a cool spot. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch and a handful of the carts were closed. Ended up getting a burrito from Mexico Lindo, the burrito itself wasn't anything special but I did really like the avocado salsa they had. Wouldn't go back to Mexico Lindo, but would definitely come back to check out some of the others! Liked how the center was wide open and they had a big fake grass patch to sit on, or for kids to run around. Because it was such an odd time the place was pretty empty and felt like a ghost town, but would love that extra space on a crowded day. The vendors are situated in a circle, so I'd recommend you walk around in a loop to get a feel of what's available before you make your decision! There were several vendors closed when we came on a Sunday evening - not sure what their normal hours are, or if they closed due to running out of supplies. - FOOD - We tried Pork Belly Burnt Ends from Wolfs Head Smokehouse and it was delicious. Love their signage that explains what each of their sauces contained and what would pair best with them. We also got some food from Thai Bloom - everything there was also tasty. We got Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, Khao Mon Gai, and Green Curry. Their noodle dishes had a nice Wok flavor! My husband had gone here before on a previous work trip so he wanted all of us to try it as well. At first it was kind of overwhelming since there were so many different kinds of food trucks, but then when we figured out what was available, we all kind of figured out what we were hungry for and went to that truck. The food took around 20 to 30 minutes to get once we ordered it since it was super busy. The food was very tasty, and it was great for our dogs and teens to eat with us. Two of us ordered burritos, one ordered a Chinese chicken meal, one got a Mac and cheese bowl, and one ordered brisket. The beer was superb, too! read more

The best thing I had here was the Poke!! I usually don't eat poke but recently have gotten into eating raw fish and this place really put it on the map for me to try other places. I've been to Hawaii and wasn't wow'd [although I wasn't into raw fish at that time] but this one was really good!
