They're hard workers they move quickly, and they have never broke anything! Most movers I get really nervous because something is always going to get broken, but I don't have any worry at all if these guys. So much so I don't feel the need to buy extra protection or anything. They take really good care and wrap everything that is needed. One thing I was nervous about this time is it was the first time Dominic wasnt there, but this time the movers were just as good if not better than last time. It was an 8 hour move going from 3500 sq ft in lake Stevens, then stopped by a storage unit, then moved into to a 1,300 sq ft apartment in Southlake union. Overall it was around $1750 after tax and then I tipped them on top (but did it because I wanted to, I didn't feel any kind of pressure to do so). In my opinion that's a really good price for 8 hours of moving. Anyway, I told them I'm hoping this is the last time, mainly because I dont wanna move not because of them or anything. He insisted on a video walkthrough so he could give the most accurate estimate he could, explained everything and answered packing questions and more along the way. I used Easy Company Moving back in 2020 when I moved from Tacoma to Bellingham, so I decided to hire them again because I knew they'd do a great job and it would give me peace of mind. Kyle Carson, owner, was very response, gave me a quote, there were not "hidden" fees or gotcha pricing when they arrived. Sean and Miguel were the two team members that did the move and they were so kind, communicative and really went above and beyond, in my opinion. Everything went smoothly and I'm so pleased. One important note, because my storage unit was in Seattle, I was unable to be there in person. I arranged with Extra Space storage to give them access to clear it out and I had ZERO worries. See my point below. - The truck that they used for our move was smaller than the truck seen in one of the pictures below. Therefore, I felt like the process wasn't as efficient as it could have been because an hour or so was spent trying to squeeze items into the smaller truck vs. if we had a larger one, I think we could have cut down the move by 45 minutes - one hour. - They 2/6 legs on my futon - I feel like as they were squeeze things into the truck, the leg on my futon must have broken off? I didn't say anything, so that was on me, but yeah I read raving reviews about 0 damage to my belongings and that wasn't the case fully for my move. Overall, they really did their best to provide great service and if I were to move again, I would probably contact the same company! I would just caveat those things noted above to create a more efficient move.

Leland told me to buy U-haul boxes as those hold up better. I bought lots of small boxes so I could move some of them to the storage locker before move day. I then lived in AirBnBs for a short time until I bought my next place. Then I hired Leland and team again. Because I packed up in small boxes, I was able to move some boxes myself and unpack before the big official move in date. That did reduce my cost on move #2. Nothing was damaged. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon. But I would hire Washington Movers again.

I paid a $30 booking fee online four days before my move 17 miles away inside of Seattle…read more You could not ask for a smoother move (no, this is not a commercial for a laxative). Two hours from start to finish. They (two men) moved all my stuff from a bedroom to my new studio apartment in under the three hour minimum--but that's okay. With the truck rental it was $437 total. These guys--the do not milk the clock. They move with speed, putting everything in these huge 60" x 24" boxes, except for the furniture. EVERYTHING gets wrapped like a palette 360 degrees around. I just stayed out of their way, and within one hour they had everything loaded up. They brought a 24' truck, which was bigger than I expected. The drive was 30 minutes to my new place and unloading took about 45 minutes. They had me sign a standard moving contract, and I absolutely appreciate the 10% military discount, and another 3% for paying cash. FANTASTIC, could not say one thing bad. They are very careful with my stuff. Absolutely recommended.

Nearly $1,000 for an Incomplete Move, Property Damage, and Unacceptable Service…read more My experience with Man with a Truck Moving was extremely disappointing and stressful. I paid approximately $984 in cash for a three-person moving team, originally scheduled for four hours with an additional hour added. Despite paying nearly $1,000, the move was left significantly incomplete. Before the move, I explained that I am disabled, my adult daughter is disabled, and we have a two-year-old child. I specifically hired professional movers to handle the heavy items we could not safely move ourselves, including our couch, dining table and chairs, living-room chairs, curio cabinet, grandfather clock without its weights, freezer, two queen-size beds, king-size mattress, storage dressers, patio furniture, and numerous boxes containing fragile belongings. We packed to the best of our ability. Fragile boxes were clearly marked "FRAGILE," while heavy boxes were labeled "50+ POUNDS" with arrows showing which side should remain upright. Although the movers transported many boxes, they left a substantial amount behind. They initially attempted to leave the couch, freezer, curio cabinet, and grandfather clock--the primary heavy items I had hired them to move. I had to insist that these items be taken. The tallest mover behaved carelessly around my family. He repeatedly bumped my 24-year-old disabled daughter with boxes as she tried to move out of his way. While using a dolly, he nearly struck my two-year-old grandchild three separate times instead of stopping or moving over in the hallway. I finally had to firmly tell him to be careful and not run into her. This was frightening and completely unacceptable. That same mover also caused a hole approximately one to one-and-a-half inches wide in the apartment wall. I sent pictures and requested that the company at least pay for the damage, but it has not been resolved. The on-site job manager spent most of the time outside loading the truck, so he did not properly supervise what was happening inside. His communication and coordination could have been much better. I do want to acknowledge that the third mover--the shorter, stockier gentleman--was polite, kind, attentive, and helpful. Unfortunately, his professionalism could not make up for the overall experience. The company also brought approximately 10-15 large, empty wardrobe boxes even though I had clearly said we did not need them. During the additional hour I paid for, valuable time was spent reloading their unused boxes instead of finishing my move. Those boxes should never have been brought after I specifically declined them, and dealing with them should not have taken away from the time I was paying for. By the time the movers left, there was still a large amount of property remaining, including the metal patio table and chairs on my balcony. The apartment was still a mess, and I had to rent a U-Haul to finish transporting everything myself. As someone with limited financial resources and physical disabilities, this created an enormous additional burden. I contacted a person named Rob, whom I understood to be management. He listened to my concerns and said he would rectify the situation by sending movers back. I explained that we had only five days remaining to empty and clean the apartment. He never followed through or contacted me again. By the third day, with no response and time running out, I told him not to send anyone because I could no longer rely on the company. I contacted him again about repairing the hole in the wall. He claimed he had not received the photographs, even though they had been sent. Nearly three weeks later, I have received no meaningful follow-up or resolution. I have photographs documenting the condition of the apartment, the large amount left behind, and the wall damage. This was not the level of service anyone should receive after paying nearly $1,000 in cash. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Man with a Truck Moving. Their claimed years of experience were not reflected in the quality, care, communication, or completeness of the service I received. I also had no idea that they offered senior pricing. The man that hit my daughter with boxes and that almost ran into my Grandchild was caught numerous times on his phone. am labeling this as overpriced based off of the service that I received. I shared the hole in the wall, 2 of the messages....I am not looking anymore for pictures. This was a traumatic experience and after this review I know that I wont hear from them in regards to any of this.
