I've gotten the CyroQueen facial a few times now and it is always an amazing experience! Jasmine was my Esti previously and she was great, but she is no longer at this location. This time my Esti was Kendal! She was gentle and made sure to address my concerns. She made sure I was comfortable throughout and explained what she was doing in each step! The glow from this facial lasted for weeks! The actual cryo machine is only used for about 5 minutes but the combination of the masks they use and the cryotherapy is what makes a huge difference! They also do extractions for free and have other add ons for an additional cost. I hope to be back for another facial very soon! read more

Really nice place to get a facial! You don't get undressed and you aren't in a private room like some salons, but I prefer that. I don't need to be in my underwear to get a facial. I will wear a tank top next time so that the shoulder massage is more effective! I got the " Royal treatment" which is one of their most expensive facials, as I am getting married on Saturday. Carlene was very sweet and explained why she was doing everything as she was doing it, which I appreciated. There was a lot of machines involved and less general facial massaging, but that was in the description of the facial so I should've been aware. Face Foundrie Houston greatly exceeded all expectations! I first heard about this place from my sister who recently became a member here. I've only gotten a facial here and there whenever on vacation, but this place made me want to become a regular here. The check in process was really easy. We had come in as walk-ins with no reservation around 2:45pm on Sunday and ended up booking 2 slots at 4pm that same day. It gave us just the right amount of time to get lunch and come back. They do have a waiting area with water, coffee, and snacks if you just wanted to wait there though. Walking in towards the back, they had a lot more facial tables than I was expecting that were separated by these big white curtains. The white, clean aesthetic of Face Foundrie was really nice, and it was bright/dim with lighting in all of the right places. Overall I loved how clean it was. They then have you make yourself comfortable. They provide baskets so you can store your wallet, keys, phone, etc. and take off your shoes. Their tables were actually really comfortable and well padded. Once you get settled down, they offer these weighted blankets that were a nice touch also. Bay was my esthetician and she was great. She really makes sure you're well taken care of, and her hands had just the right amount of finesse and pressure. Also shout out to Spencer, my friend loved you as well. You then get the choice if you want a peppermint or citrus essential oil for aromatherapy throughout your facial. Then from then on out, I was in heaven. If you want them to, they can explain every step of the facial process to you, and they can answer any questions you have about their products. I was in self care Sunday relaxation mode though so I was fine with them not explaining everything, and just enjoying the facial to the fullest. I chose the clean + natural facial, but they have a lot of different options and enhancements. I have sensitive skin though so that's just what they recommended for me. Overall Face Foundrie was perfect from start to finish. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place except I wish it lasted even longer because it was just that nice. I'll be back again for sure! Came here for the Foundrie Glow with my gf, I booked both of our services we both got the foundrie glow with Extractions & Brow Lamination' wax. She was finished with her appointment 45 min before mine, which made no sense since we got the same services. I was told by my estitician that she would perform the lamination after my facial bc of the process and that made total sense. When i finished, my gf said her estitician did the brow lamination at the same time as her facial. We are both licensed cosmetologists ourselves have been licensed for over 10 years, we know that they should be done separately. Honestly, kind of common sense. Especially when you're not supposed to wet your brows for 24 hrs after. Anyway, her facial was no more than just getting oils and creams rubbed it. Mine, was good and for the price... you get what you pay for in my opinion. I went with the dermababe because it's been a minute since I've had my last facial and wanted to get rid of any dead skin I may have, and getting a deeper exfoliation I've been needing! The facial bar was super clean and welcoming, I love that they give you a weighted blanket and a cushion to go under your knees to help you relax. My esti was Kaleah and she was amazing! My esthetician was Jasmine. She did an excellent job. She took her time and paid a lot of attention to detail. I got the sculpt facial which was relaxing and enjoyable. I also got the lash lift. The process takes a while but my lashes look amazing. They still look great, hopefully it lasts. The reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because of the eyebrow tint. It only lasted 5 days and for the first 2 days I didn't wash or touch my eyebrows. By day 5 the tint was completely gone so I felt like this was a waste of money and wouldn't recommend it. I made a appointment for a Foundrie Glow facial and the brow lamination. I got a very partial facial treatment .. maybe 1 min of extractions and she did my brow lamination during my facial .. so basically my facial and brow lamination was a total of 1 hour , my skin feels congested with oil and I can still smell the perm solution in my brows .. it could have been my esthetician not being experienced. My friend came with me and she's still in the back for the same services so basically while my service took 1 hour hers is now going on 1 hour and 40 min .. I won't be spending my money here again. The worst thing is coming for self care and feeling very unsatisfied. read more

I would not recommend this business anywhere. My account was on pause and I got a call a week ago that there will be changes with the membership and that pauses were no longer going to be an option. I called back today because I still had a remaining credit on my account and wanted to redeem it for a facial. I was told by the manager that I was not able to redeem for a facial because the voucher had "expired." I was honestly surprised because no one had contacted me to let me know that my credit on my account was going to expire soon. I mentioned that since my account was on pause (due to personal reasons) most likely there was an issue with communication because no one ever reached out to me to let me know that the expiration date for the credit was approaching either via phone or email? I asked the manager to speak to the owner and see if she would be willing to allow me to redeem the credit I paid for, for a new visit and that I would be more than willing to sign up for the membership again. To my surprise the manager got back to me with the response that NO, the owner was not willing to issue any refunds or assist with this current situation. I mentioned that I was not looking for a refund, instead just wanted to redeem my credit and sign up again for the membership but was still told by the manager that they were not able to do anything more for me. If I may say, this is robbery. You don't just take client's money and fail to do your job as a business by not contacting members about their account credits especially if they are approaching an expiration date? My case was a little unique because my membership was paused and no one decided to make note and contact me ahead of time to let me know know about the expiring credit. This is where I draw the line. Instead of the owner wanting to keep her relationship with her client and have me sign up for the membership again, she would rather lose my business over a credit that was "expired" that the business failed to inform the member about. I offered to stay as a member, but NO. They would rather lose business and loyalty instead of trying to do something to make this situation a little bit better for both the client and the business. With that being said, please take my experience as a learning lesson and don't let this happen to you. To the owner- you can do better. Adding another or existing membership and trying to correct the situation is always better than losing your client and their loyalty. read more

I went in for a facial because a super nice colleague gave me a gift card. I chose the clean & natural facial with an added 15 minute scalp massage (for an extra $15). The petit esthetician took me back and verified my booking. She proceeded to the facial and I felt like she barely touched my face. She would lightly run her fingers on my cheeks once after every product application. That's it! That was the facial. Just product application! The 15 minute minute scalp massage was non-existent. She touched my head for 5 seconds!! My braided hair stayed nice and straight after she was done. It was an absolute waste of my friend's money and a waste of my 35 minutes. I really enjoyed my facial a few weeks ago! I was worried it wouldn't be peaceful because the tables are separated by curtains but it exceeded expectations. I got to use a weighted blanket during my facial, which I loved. The space was very relaxing. My facialist was very sweet and the facial was great. For my brow wax/tint, I'm really happy with how my brows are shaped and tinted. Unfortunately, she did burn the skin right under my eyebrow and now it's starting to scab up and hurts to touch. I really enjoyed my experience except for this. The tables are all in one room, which wasn't my favorite, but was still a nice atmosphere. I would come here again in a pinch, but not for the eyebrow wax. The lip wax was also great, so I'm not sure what happened with the brows. read more

Came to Face Foundrie for an expensive HydraFacial. Half way through my service, their machine stopped working. Esthetician tried to make it better by putting serums on my face, however, that's not what I paid for. If I wanted a normal facial, I would've paid for a normal facial. Which leads me to my next comment, I was STILL expected to pay for the full HydraFacial even though I did not get the service. They only have one machine for the entire business, so if you're going for a HydraFacial, just know they can't get the seal to latch on correctly. Management has still not contacted me to make it right. Would not recommend. read more

The waiting area and the salon as a whole is such a cute concept. It's open concept which was a first for me with facials! I saw this spa on TikTok I booked and I did a brow lamination and a facial. For starters none of the girls were friendly and none said hi except the girl who took me in and checked me in she offered me a bottle of water did not speak to me after until the girl who was doing my facial approach mean to begin. She wasn't a mean girl but she was very rude and asked me multiple times what was I using on my skin. She made me feel insecure about my skin she asked me how many times a week I exfoliated because my nose was "rough" and then proceeded to let me know my skin wasn't perfect I know that whenever you go to a facial the aesthetician will let you know what your skin concerns are she on the other hand wasn't being professional and more like rude she made it seem like she didn't really want to be there. The girl who did my eyebrow lamination was very sweet she spoke with me through the whole process she was young and she was very polite she made my experience a lot better. I enter this location after my visit to European wax just walking by it's been a while since I last received a facial so I was very excited to get a consultation.
