In no time, I had both my facial and my moms facial booked. The day finally came and we arrived about 20 minutes early. The receptionist was super friendly and got us both checked in quickly. We then got offered some cold water and some warm tea while we waited. My moms facial started a few minutes before mine and so we finished at different times. We both really enjoyed the way our estheticians worked and both facials were amazing. The girls were also both very friendly. We both got the the Foundrie Glow and we walked out of there glowingggg. My face was feeling super moisturized and it still feels that way today. My mom REALLY enjoyed the scalp and shoulder massage and said it almost put her to sleep, LOL. I think I'm in love with this place. You walk into a very beautiful waiting/reception area. It is clean and accented in white/boho decor. The receptionist is very prompt and friendly. Overall feel is relaxing and just what you want when getting a facial. Instead of the normal spa concept, Face Foundrie is a Facial bar that focuses on results. I did the Cryo Queen facial which uses curl technology to tighten, firm + lift the skin and ends with a restorative LED treatment. Basically it's 60 minutes of heaven. They use products during this facial from PCA, Grown Alchemist and of course Face Foundrie. They do a beginning and ending ritual that uses rose quartz and aroma therapy to help you relax while they massage your neck/shoulders. Sarah walked me through each step of the facial, explaining what the products do and how they specifically benefited me for the goals I shared. The actual cryo therapy is very relaxing. They use a machine to shoot very cold air onto your skin. The facial ends with LED treatment while they massage your arms/wrists. The whole experience was very relaxing. I really wish this entity would expand & offer more locations! I would likely visit more often if it didn't entail planning a day around having to trek- and, this location is not ideal. The parking lot is constantly full- you're forced to pay for valet or walk a couple blocks because you can't ever find parking here. So the accessibility is below a 1 star. I actually avoid it because of the anxiety. This was my second visit. I love the ease of scheduling online. They have everything listed & you can customize any appointment. Plenty of hours/options to choose from. I also love their forms can be filled out online instead of having to arrive early for a jargon of paperwork. Super impressed I arrived early & knowingly acknowledged- had no problem browsing the displays to scope products to purchase. The lovely young lady at the desk was full of knowledge & walked me through anything I had a question regarding. ...and totally talked me into more than I bargained, per usual, LOL! The appointment, itself was amazing. Top notch comfort & care! I was offered a weighted blanket, water, or anything that would be of comfort. I did not need anything & we proceeded- it was still top notch! Also cannot complain at all my appointment began early. My technician gave me the choice of aromatherapy oil blends. She asked if I would like her to explain each step or be silent to enjoy the procedure- I chose silent since this was not my first visit. This time, I opted to consult further beyond my intake form to understand what would be the best facial- I was really happy & impressed with the knowledge. I did switch it to include cryo- that was an experience! I am really glad I came back- it was a great session & left me feeling rejuvenated. My visit to Face Foundrie was the most pleasant experience! I visited Scottsdale for a girls trip and decided to give my face some extra self-care. This was my first facial and chose to get the Cryo Queen with Morgan. And oh boy! I had no idea that a facial could feel better than a deep tissue massage. I booked my appointment through their online portal. There definitely could be some improvements to the UI, but once I completed my reservation online, everything else was so seamless. The location was easy to get to, Riley at the front desk had great customer service, and my esthetician, Morgan, took such great care of my face. I expected to take a nap the whole time, but ended up having a great conversation with her. Morgan was so patient with all of my questions, and I learned a ton about the different types of facials. I'm a bit bummed there isn't a location by my area, but this experience is now a prime reason why I'd come back (in addition to the golf in AZ). I would 100% recommend Face Foundry to anyone curious about facials because I know they'll love their visit too. Marwa is hands down the BEST esthetician, I won't book anyone else :) The space is beautiful and relaxing, always nice and cool (they offer you a blanket and bolster for your legs!) and very spacious. I love the tall ceilings and not being right up against the people next to me. The service is soooooo relaxing. Instant fan... this place is great! Upon arrival, I was greeted and taken back quickly. My esthetician was Marwa, and she was excellent from start to finish. I was offered a weighted blanket and foot rest (LOVE). I received the Sculpt facial, which focuses on firming, blood flow, skincare, etc. It was unique to any facial I have done, but felt really beneficial (especially the cupping). Marwa explained what she was doing each step of the way, and I felt totally relaxed the whole time. Calming. That's the word that comes to mind when I think of my experience at Face Foundrie. Just entering the clean, well-lit space I immediately felt calm. This is SO much more than a facial! I was stunned at how easy it was to book an appointment. To my delight, they even had appointments available early on a Sunday morning. Skip brunch and come here! I pre-booked online, gave my card details, and that was pretty much it. The day of the appointment I was running about ten minutes late and when I called to alert them, they had zero issues. I was assigned to Elizabeth. I feel like I hit the jackpot with her. She was also calm and asked such great questions. She even asked at the start of the treatment if I wanted silence or if I was OK if she explained what she is doing. I told her I wanted her to walk me through the process. She also asked questions about my current skincare routine and gave advice on what I could do for Arizona's unique climate. I went for the "clean and natural" since the transition of seasons always makes your skin go a bit haywire. Exfoliation and extractions are an important part of this treatment. What stunned me at the end of the treatment was how much my skin glowed. I wasn't expecting that since I didn't get one of the other options on the list. That 45 minutes on the treatment table went by SO fast. I just wanted to take a nap in that blissful environment. When I went to pay, I didn't even need to show my card as they just charged the one they had on file. I was also given bottled water and piece of chocolate. Seriously, this could not have been better! That evening I had a follow-up email from Elizabeth with more advice, including how often I should return. It made me feel like this wasn't some indulgent luxury as much as it was health care (skin IS our largest organ!). Face Foundrie does offer discounts if you buy a plan. If you're coming with a group, you can book that online as well. This brand is fast expanding across the U.S. and I messaged a few friends in other states to tell them to check it out. I am so grateful to Yelp for having been able to experience a complimentary facial. Here is my experience! Depending on what time of day you go, I would recommend leaving 10-15 minutes of extra time for parking. I went at 1pm and while there were parking spots, most of them were very tight and difficult to get my truck into. Which brings me to note #2, if you have a smaller car, bring that one! If not, maybe don't go during meal times (cold beer & cheeseburgers share the parking lot) or not during times where the yoga studio is having classes. Now on to the actual facial! The building when you walk in is so bright and inviting! Very modern, bright white space. The setup is completely different from any other facial I've ever had before. There are no private rooms, just the diving curtains. So if you're used to the private room facials where you take off your shirt and it's nice and dark with soothing music, this is completely different. My esthetician, Aliyah, was so nice! She took me to my table and got me all set up with a bolster under my legs, a sheet, and a lovely weighted blanket. Your belongings go in a basket at the foot of the table/bed. I do wish there was somewhere more private and protected to put your personal belongings since during the facial your eyes are closed. Aliyah went over any skin concerns I had and the intake paperwork (on an ipad) with questions about allergies, sensitivities, medications, and so on. We decided to do the Clean + Natural facial since I have sensitive skin, though I do wish I had gone with the Cryo instead. It was definitely relaxing! I think she did 2 cleansers, an exfoliant on my t-zone, sonic extractions, manual extractions, some oil, a minty mask, a moisturizer, some eye cream and some lip balm. She was very gentle with my face which was so nice! You also are given a short neck and shoulder massage during the mask portion. While that felt nice, I definitely should have asked for more pressure during the massage though (my tension is deep in those shoulders). She was very thorough with recommended products for my individual skincare needs after the facial. I opted not to purchase anything from the line they sell there, as the scents from the recommended products were too strong. But the information about ingredients to look for and incorporate was definitely appreciated! She even sent me an email following up with all the information shortly after the facial as well! If you're strapped for time but want some self care, they also have 20 minute mini facials. They offer brow and tinting, waxing, shaping, henna, lamination, as well as lash extensions, lift, and tint. If you're in the area, they are worth checking out. It's a bit too casual of an experience for me for the price point. If I'm getting a facial, I want the entire spa experience with the dark room, the steamy face mister, the spa music, and the privacy. But if you're someone who has never had a facial before and are looking for a more modern, casual approach, then Face Foundrie may be perfect for you! Before my appointment they sent me a questionnaire on the products I currently use. Extremely clean and pleasant surroundings. Staff are kind and professional. Staff will ask if you would like a description of the service while it's being done or quiet. The facial begins with a meditation and brief massage to relax you. Staff then get busy with the various products and steps to cleansing the skin. There are several facials to choose from. Mine included cupping. The entire experience was warm and relaxing. I bought the TruGrit and pretty excited to try it out. When I did the extraction my eyes were starting to tear up because pain but it wasn't like totally unbearable. I think she did a great job. I think next time I may get the same thing or try something a bit different if my skin concerns change. I even got a little after care card to know what to do after my facial. I had a great experience here! I was incredibly grateful for the opportunity as a Yelp Elite to get a free facial. Regardless of this, there was a lot about the experience and products that I enjoyed more so than a corporate resort spa experience. Sarah was my facial provider and I appreciated that she asked whether or not I wanted to be talked through the process and products, or just zone out and chill. She and I chatted the whole time about skincare and she told me about some tools and fun things that she used that I could buy myself and use at home. I did the sculpt facial and it was awesome. I have jaw tensing issues and I felt like the cupping and massage helped relax it. The space itself is super pretty, and the setup is cool. Rather than private rooms, curtains separate the treatment beds. The loft space makes it feel very private and relaxing, despite this. Also, the weighted blanket they give you during your service is awesome! Overall, I totally recommend for the great products they use that are more tailored to what they like, rather than corporate spas that strictly use one line. I think this is my favorite facial place in all of Phoenix! I enjoyed my first experience here so much, I signed up for the Facial maven membership (which is a $79 monthly subscription that gives you your choice of one of the $69 facials and any one add-on enhancement). This keeps me coming back here every month for some nice relaxation :) I haven't had any issues with parking during the hours I go but there are a lot of other shops in the same plaza so during peak lunch/dinner hours I assume it might be a little more difficult to find spots. Once you enter the location, you are greeted by the receptionist at the front desk. They should be able to check you in and then there are adorable chairs for you to sit in while you wait for your aesthetician. You are then moved to the back-ish area where each section divided by curtains (there is plenty of privacy between each table despite them being all in one opened area, I haven't had any issues where neighboring sessions are loud enough to disturb me). Once you're there you're offered the option of a leg bolster and weighted blanked, I love how this option is available and can be some added comfort and relaxation to people who enjoy this. Before the start of the facial your aesthetician will ask you questions to get to know more about your skin and whether you have any concerns or goals. I find this pretty attentive because they can suggest a different facial if they think that may be better suited for you. During the start you also get a massage and an aromatherapy session with either eucalyptus or citrus, some people may not like the scent of essential oils so this may not be for you but I really enjoy the nice smells as I get my shoulders massaged. Depending on the facial chosen, the aesthetician will perform the necessary items depending on which one you chose but they usually have a double cleanse and some moisturizing after. Then they usually end with a massage, lip balm, and sunscreen! At the end they can walk you through some of their products that may aid your skin (I never feel forced to buy any of them, which is nice). And then you can book your next appointment from the front desk. Overall, amazing place to get some quick and relaxing facials. The added attention to detail with the decor, bolsters, weighted blankets, and aromatherapy makes each session worth it. The girl at the front desk was very attentive and I was greeted right away. You can tell this place is very new because the ceiling isn't done yet. The bathroom was very clean! But there was no paper towels. It was interesting to see each bed divided by sheets and not have individual rooms. My esthetician was super friendly and nice. I suppose if someone specifically wanted to go get a facial for the relaxing aspect / esthetic, they could potentially be disappointed. It didn't bother me either way. I chose the sculpt facial and there were many steps in hydrating and beautifying my face. They have house made products from my understanding and some organic options as well. Wow! Just wow!! I love how fast and convenient this is for people wanting to go in for a quick facial of a sort. So many great services for reasonable prices. The entire staff was beyond pleasant making this so easy to want to come back to on a regular basis. I have a lot of dark spots and decided to try out the cryoqueen and the collagen mask thanks to Yelp for setting this up as a Yelp Elite event. I am beyond grateful. I rarely get time away from my little one at home so Yelp Elite has given me two opportunities in the past two years to get away for some "me time". First thing you should know is if you schedule an appointment I'd try to schedule it during the week when There's a lot less traffic. The parking lot is very small on the weekends when you have two restaurants/bars to compete with for space. When i arrived yesterday for my scheduled appointment I was at least 12 min early and was sitting with my blinker on and when the person finally backed out someone swooped in and stole it. Unreal they had zero care. So just keep that in mind if you make a weekend appointment DO get there early. Upon entering they have menus outside to look over and the most beautiful lobby area and overall calming ambiance. My only suggestion is also on weekends to turn up the spa music because you can hear everyone screaming watching football. But it wasn't as loud to where you are completely thrown off or anything during your treatment of choice. They were insanely prompt bringing you back and offer you a boxed water when you arrive also amazing plus! It tasted amazing! Aaliyah was my esthetician and she was very soft spoken and sweet. She offered me a heated blanket which I gladly accepted. The cryoqueen reminds me of walking into a snowstorm or leaving an airport in winter in the Midwest with the huge gust of snow cold wind in your face but you are still warm because of the weighted blanket. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it. It was my first time and can't wait to go back to try other services! The membership is a great deal! 79 dollars for the facial package where you get one facial and one enhancement a month as well as 10% off additional services. The whole treatment was so relaxing and amazing. This is so great for people Who are on the go and don't have time to go to a full day spa and just need a quick pick me up.
