I had a Japanese head spa treatment with skylee and I'm pretty sure I briefly left my body. I have some nerve damage from chemo, so I don't say this lightly when I tell you this treatment was chef's kiss. It seriously helped calm my nerves and eased pain in a way I did not expect--and I'm someone who's tried a lot of things. The whole experience was wildly relaxing. Skylee is an amazing aesthetician. I'm a 19 year cancer survivor and have been receiving facials from this beautiful soul for almost as long! She's very considerate always asks if I'm having any particular challenges with my skin and offering realistic skin care solutions. Her Fusion Collective Spa is clam, quant and vibey and when I leave, my skin feels refreshed, moisturized and is radiant. I can't say enough good things about her as a person as well. Okay, so I've been getting waxed since basically I've been an adult. Sometimes for fire dancing shows (less burnt hair smell after some crowd-pleasing tricks), sometimes for athletic competitions (less drag in the water), sometimes for vanity (*cough* ladies...). Skylee is a wonder with hard wax. I've been seeing her for ages, and her thoroughness and attention to detail is unrivaled. Aside from that, she has found a hard wax that makes hair removal so much better than pretty much anything else. Even when I let it go too long and my hair ends up coarser than a burlap weave of a vulgar sheep's wool, her technique is quick and relatively painless. She has an easygoing yet professional bedside manner that is no-nonsense. Somehow, she's still engaging and just, well, sweet. I was extremely fortunate to be introduced to Skylee through the Tucson Cancer Conquerors with a facial gifted after completing chemotherapy. I have had several, several facials in my lifetime - mostly in SoCal - and am 100% certain Skylee's was the best yet. Not only is she extremely warm and welcoming, highly trained and educated in her craft, and uses an array of all-natural skincare that is safe for the most sensitive and fragile skin (especially for chemo patients), Skylee is also very gracious with her time and offering samples. One of the samples she gave me to try worked so well through the beginning of radiation (Éminence Linden Calendula Treatment) that when I contacted her to request to purchase more, she both picked it up for me from the retailers and met me at a convenient time/location knowing that I was already back to work while still in treatment and extremely fatigued. Her natural and genuine kindness toward her clients makes you feel like a long-time friend.
