Finally made it to Caroline's new location on Lincoln ave and it is beautiful! My last facial was right before shelter in place and I was way overdue for a facial. I had the deep pore facial and it felt amazing! Caroline always takes her time and analyzes my skin by asking questions to get a better idea of what my current skin issues are. She noticed I was over-exfoliating and told me to take it easy. I appreciate her attention to detail and how careful she is. This year has been stressful, to say the least so have a relaxing moment by treating yourself to a treatment. Everything in the salon was very clean, sanitized and I felt completely comfortable. I started coming to Caroline at Faces Skincare because I also work at Sola Salon Studios Willow Glen. I'm a hairstylist and a few of my clients were clients of hers from her previous location. They spoke very highly of her so I thought I would try her out. Being in the beauty industry I have definitely had my share of facials over the years. But BY FAR, HANDS-DOWN, the best facial I have had yet! I typically get the European Facial. It's 80 minutes of pure bliss. At my first appointment we probably spent the first 30 minutes talking about our lives and of course my skin, but she was sweet enough to say "Ok now I'm going to shut up and allow you to relax..." I really appreciated that because I have had facials where the Esthetician talks the entire time. I like to take this time to be quiet and pamper myself. Most facials I have had in the past only last one hour and I feel like the Esthetician is speeding through all the steps. Caroline takes the time to do each step, cleansing, exfoliating, extracting, massaging, moisturizing. She allows a full 15 minutes for the mask to set, which usually makes me fall asleep! I've never done that during a facial before!! SO RELAXING! She massages your hands, face, neck and shoulders... she even gets the knots out of my shoulders [which I probably get from lugging around my heavy purse] I would probably go to her for a full body massage if she ever became a massage therapist! She's THAT good! I love her pressure: firm, but not painful. She uses great products. Her room is very relaxing and features a wonderful fountain. She plays great music. Her check-out system is a breeze from her handy iPad. And like most of the single studios at Sola the room is a little small, but definitely not cramped... it seems to be the perfect size for her services. Plus, she is a total sweetheart. I have followed Caroline to nearly every salon she has worked at. From LG to DT SJ to Willow Glen! I absolutely recommend her amazingly QUICK and painless Brazilians! I have sent so many of my friends to her I think all of us are in and out of her studio on a monthly basis! I came in for the diamond peel and thought it all went well until I woke up the next day with cystic acne on my face. 2 on my nose, 2 on my chin and 1 on my cheek. My face glowed and was a bit red after the facial and the aesthetician walked me through every procedure. I wasn't too thrilled with the acne caused by extractions and this is the strongest pressure I've experienced in a facial. She also wears gloves throughout the entire facial for sanitary reasons which I suppose is a good thing. read more

I have been looking for somewhere to get regular facials and I think I have found my place. I had the European Facial which was amazing. This facial was recommended by Caroline as it would give her the opportunity to tailor the products to my needs. I was not disappointed. The only thing to bear in mind is that Willow Glen gets extremely busy on weekends so allow time to find parking. There is quite a bit of parking at the salon but I was unlucky, and there were no spaces. There is plenty of parking nearby so this is not a big problem. read more
