As an update to a previous review... Bryan and his flooring installer, Jimmy, did our floors a few years ago and just recently we got carpet installed by Hector. They helped us with the selection of engineered wood and carpet and offered opinions on how it would be best installed to give it a polished look. Their skills made the final result look stunning. Bryan and his team are friendly, happy and professional. Some places will defer to my husband and ignore me, but not here, they showed me respect as I was their client and treated as such. The prices and selection of wood, tile and carpet are good value and are quality. Bryan and the installers all showed up exactly on time or kept us aware of any delays. 8 years later, the floors still look great. they have held up well to life with kids and now a 75lb dog. A few years ago, we added a UV film to our large windows, and I wish we had done that sooner because we did have some fading except under some small area rugs near windows (pictures added). His bid was very detailed and he was very clear on any areas where there might be extra costs so there were zero surprises. Lead Installer Ken was outstanding! He masterfully cut in 2 "trap doors" in our floors and you can barely see the seams. Crew cleaned up every night and Bryan stopped by mid job and at the end to ensure that we were happy. We are so incredibly happy that we chose to work with Jacob and Ken from Factory Direct Floor Store and their amazing installer Ruben!We were so surprised by their amazing selection of different brands , selections and the superior quality of the products they carry , it's excellent and their expertise was clear. Side Note: I was VERY particular about wanting a specific tone and feel to the LVP I wanted lol I didn't want something cheap and plastic-y feeling that I'd had previously and they had so many great options it was hard to pick! Their prices were very reasonable and competitive over a few other floor places we checked out and we are beyond happy with our choice. Demo and installation took about 6 days (1900+ sq.ft house) and Ruben was very communicative throughout the whole process sending us photos and videos and progress updates throughout The quality of their installation was excellent from the way they lined up the boards and baseboards and baseboard shoe to the interior closets we had forgotten to mention but they did for us! These guys were terrific to work with and so much more reasonable pricing than others in the area! Jacob was great, super knowledgeable about flooring and helped me through the decision process, which I spent a lot of time on. They were patient and responsive while I took sample after sample home and spent tons of time looking around the showroom. They may look small from outside but have tons of samples! The work and wood was about half of what several competitors wanted. I can't say enough about the absolute quality of the work done, our installer Bobby was prompt, communicative, and very detailed. His work was stunning! The stairs and baseboards detail were fantastic. He was very selective of which boards to use and asked me if he wasn't sure about a pattern in a board. We originally purchased our laminate wood flooring from Brian at Factory Direct Flooring over five years ago. The process was great from start to finish. I am an A-type personality, a perfectionist, and I am thrifty...a hard combination to satisfy. Factory Direct was not only the lowest priced of all four quotes I got to replace flooring on a condo we own (labor and materials), but they were the quickest and most efficient in their answers, and seemed most competent. When time came to install, they did the job on time and within the promised budget, and it looked GREAT. Fast forward five years... we just had a flood a couple weeks ago (of BEER from a kegerator) and had to purchase some of the same boards to have laced in to match the existing flooring. Julia was a doll throughout the entire process. She sourced it, found that it was the right lot number to match, got me a sample box expedited SUPER FAST to ensure the locking system on the laminate boards still worked with what we had installed, and then got the order placed and delivered to us. There was one minor snafu, but not their fault (apparently the manufacturer's miscommunication), but the flooring came the next day and all was right in the world. Family owned- Experienced, knowledgeable and understood what we needed and wanted, which was a low maintenance, wood floor that would last 25+ yrs that hides scratches and wear from a multiple large dog and kid household. They also educated me on the reality of what to expect with wood floors and gave me other options to consider. I went with their wood floor recommendation. 2. 8 years later, the floor still looks great, all of our needs were met. We're replacing the carpeted stairs and 2nd floor with this same wood floor, which is still made (Garrison French Connection). We hardly notice the scratches from our big playful dogs and active family. A stain touch-up pen covers any deep scratches or wear. 3. Installation: Demo was loud and dusty because they had a lot of tile and glued wood floor to remove. Installers were meticulous about preparing and leveling the floor for the glue down install. I highly recommend Factory Direct Floor Store!  I am pretty particular and am very pleased with their work and communication.  We recently purchased a home and had two rooms with carpet that we knew would need to be replaced.  Waterproof vinyl laminate seemed like the best option, especially for a rental unit.  They have a great selection to choose from with reasonable prices.   We love the ones we chose that have real-like wood detail.  We went with the Eternity flooring in slightly different colors in each room.   We originally used them for a detached garage turned studio that had old nasty carpets and linoleum.  Bryan came to the house for an estimate since it was a unique room.  Ruben's team did the install.  I appreciated his call the day before to discuss detail.   He was very honest and up front when he uncovered a pretty significant crack in the concrete under the carpet.  I appreciated his honesty rather than just moving forward with the job to get paid and us having issues down the road.   A few months later, we got a puppy and after a few potty accidents, we knew it was time to get Factory Direct Floor Store back in!  I stopped by the show room for a few samples and Jacob helped me out with the estimate.  Again, Ruben's team did the work and couldn't be happier.  We are getting so many compliments from the pictures I've shown people, since no one can come over now due to COVID.  Definitely check them out!  Thanks Bryan, Ruben, Jacob, and team! read more

Had a great experience working with Jacob (Sales), Brian (PM), and our installers Andy (hardwood) and Henry (baseboards). Start to finish there was high communication and direct answers on what to do, what might be delayed, etc.. They were flexible with us throughout the process for our 2000 sqft project as we changed the material selection a ton before actually ordering. The quoting and invoicing was a breeze and the price was very competitive. Installers did a great job working around my family during the 2 week install, ensuring we had access to the kitchen as much as possible as I have three kids. We couldn't be happier with the final product as well as all of the communication between the different teams. We did deal with supply issues during the install but everything was straightforward and allowed us to plan as needed. Highly recommend using this team and would use them again for our next project! Brian, A paint tarp and items on the counter made it difficult to clean up the mess, are you serious. Since when is it acceptable to NOT cleanup after yourself in a customer's home!? While there were some tools on the counter and a paint tarp on the floor, these items are not glued down. Ken could have easily moved the items, cleaned up, and put the items back. Or better yet, properly planned ahead and taped off the area with plastic! I worked construction for 6 years and never left a job site dirty, period. Ken could have easily called me to ask if he was unsure. He had no problem calling me when I was in New York at a friend's wedding to ask if he could turn on the air conditioning in the house cause he was hot. He had no problem using my fan when chipping/sanding concrete, which was filthy and also left for me to clean. Don't try and bullshit me. read more

I'm in LOVE with my new floors!! Factory direct was able to come out and almost match my existing vinyl plank. I wanted to rip out all my carpet upstairs because of a bad little doggie going potty. Now I have the vinyl plank throughout the entire house and it looks AMAZING. They took their time to sand down the floors, put concrete down where it needed and get the floor right the first time. Terrible install experience. I've bought flooring from this company twice. The first time we used our owner installer, and I'm really glad we did. Unfortunately, for the most recent purchase we decided to let them do it all. They started a week late after the first contractor was a no show. The second contractor was simply rude and quit rather than use the paint color I requested. He purposefully stacked wet baseboards on top of each other. Two weeks later and two more contractors we finally finished after a lot of arguing about what constituted "All Baseboards". Then, we found that one of the contractors damaged our bed headboard and did a terrible coverup job. Brian refused to accept responsibility, there by implying that I was lying. Even with before/after pictures, he stuck by his contractors. Two of which said that he under pays them, which explains their lack of motivation and reluctance to make the customer happy. Avoid at all costs. Life is too short to deal with such people. read more

From the selection (we chose Cucamonga Bend, a laminate reclaimed pine) to installation (one week out from our purchase date), our experience couldn't have gone more smoothly.
