Truly worth the 5 stars rating! Scott and his team have been extremely helpful and kind to us during the past two years. I highly recommend this business for any flooring needs. Let me preface this with some background - I bought a house a few years ago and I started noticing uneven floors in the kitchen. This was probably due to the original installers installing the island on top of the flooring, and not having enough space in btwn the flooring to breathe / bad installation. While looking for quotes, we did a lot of research beforehand so we could be prepared and understand what needed to be done so we wouldn't be upcharged. When we met Scott he was very friendly, knowledgeable with all of our questions, and eager to work with us. I feel like not a lot of contractors were as helpful and took us seriously so we were really excited to work with Scott. His prices were fair and we really appreciated him being flexible and working with our budget too. Fast forward to the installation, everything was great and the floors turned out beautiful! Abraham and his team were very professional, kind, and if we had any issues they were quick and open to fixing them. They were always on time and the flooring installation was pretty quick and painless (just be mindful that with this type of work the house will get dusty so be prepared to clean afterwards). They did the self leveling, added moisture barrier and installed our floors. We also asked them to redo our stairs / baseboards too so everything would match. Our stairs had some exposed edges that made it kind of difficult to rework and Abraham was able to figure out a nice way to make them look nice. A year later, we had a pipe leak / foundation issues and we reached out to Scott again to help provide a quote for our insurance since they were damaged. Scott was always one phone call away whenever we needed him to answer questions or stop by to provide quotes. We ended up working with him one more time because we trusted his team to redo our floors. Due to the nature of these unfortunate events, there were a lot of issues going back and forth with insurance, other contractors, and Scott was probably the most consistent one who we knew was on our side. He was always helpful, provided sound advice, and was just a great person to work with. I truly felt like he had our best interest and was working to help us fix our issues instead of just being a salesman and getting the most he could from us. He was helping us without a guarantee we would work with him because of all the insurance obstacles. It's really difficult to find people like that and I'm truly grateful for Scott and his team! The project started with a detailed and transparent quote, and the finished floor looks great. While a few areas could be improved--particularly communication and post-installation details--the team was generally professional and easy to work with. Pros: 1. Clear and transparent quote: The cost breakdown was well-organized and easy to understand, standing out compared to other bids. This transparency made us feel confident about what we were paying for. 2. Convenient payment options: Paying by credit card was simple and seamless--50% was charged upfront, and the remaining balance after the installation was complete. 3. Careful measurement process: The manager Scott and his son took the time to measure the space thoroughly using a laser tool. The estimate slightly overshot our actual needs by about 7%, resulting in a few extra boxes, but the attention to detail in the measuring process was appreciated. 4. Professional and friendly installer: Jorge was hardworking, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. He brought a positive attitude and did his job with sincerity. 5. Strong final result: The completed floor looks beautiful and high-quality. A few small issues came up, but they were promptly addressed after follow-up visits. Areas for improvement: 1. Minor squeaking: There are a few spots with light squeaky sounds when stepped on. Scott assured us this is common with floating floors and should settle over time. 2. Staffing expectations: We were initially told that two installers would handle the job, but for most of the project only one person was on site. This extended the timeline from the estimated 5 days to about 8.5 days, though the installer worked diligently throughout. 3. Room for better communication: There were occasional disconnects in communication--both between us and the installer Jorge, and between Jorge and the manager Scott. Jorge was quiet and focused, but a bit more proactive communication around scheduling and updates would have helped. Some of the details we discussed with Scott didn't seem to fully make it to Jorge, and in person re-explanation was required. 4. Cleanup oversights: Some dust was left behind, and the garage door was accidentally left open overnight--likely due to an oversight or an inexperienced helper. This review is long overdue as we had the floors installed 1.5 years ago. This company has done an amazing job installing our luxury vinyl flooring. Scott helped us navigate the many types, colors and textures to select from and his team did a superb job in installing both the flooring and the baseboard. They installed even under a large loft bed without having to take it apart. The team was courteous and always cleaned up at the end of each day. Scott came out with many samples and we found a product that worked for us . We used an outside source for install due to our budget. Scott was professional and friendly and answered all my emails and phone calls . My only problem was is we should have double checked material amount with contractor we knew we would have about 2 boxes because that's what scott recommended for future need but we ended up with 5 boxes . Could have saved a few hundred had we ordered less. I would use this company for any future flooring needs over big companies like home depot or lowes . What a great company. I used them in my condo to put in some carpet and it went flawlessly. So when my wife bought a house and needed floors, I knew who to call. The house is about 2000sf, and we had vinal planking put in the whole house, including the stairs. The pictures speak for themselves, just look at the work. Bottom Line: Great service, would use again. Full Story: From my initial contact with Scott to setup the consultation, I had a feeling I was going to go with them. Scott was very friendly and responsive and seemed like a person I wanted to work with. During our initial consultation, he spend a lot of time going over every detail and answering all our questions. He offered his experience and advice on what materials are good/bad in different areas. He must of spent over an hour and a half. The project was redo-ing all the floors in my in-laws new home, mostly wood but carpet upstairs. The project also required demolition of some tile to replace with wood, which they quoted a very reasonable rate. Now, my mother-in-law is VERY picky. She is a retired architect, so she knows her way around construction and these types of projects. So she's no slouch. Scott and his team did great putting up with all her requests for minor adjustments and nit-picks. They handled it better than I could! I was the main point of contact for the project, trying not to stress my in-laws out in their old age, but MIL still had tons requests I had to bring to Scott and he did his best to accommodate all of them. So in love with our new floors and so happy we had Fabuless Floors install them! We got estimates from 5 companies but Scott really won our business with his low key, helpful and professional manner. The price was on point and never went up, unlike some other contractors we have worked with. We had about 1200 sq. ft. of flooring to replace, a hodgepodge of old tile, carpet and laminate. My husband uses a walker so we really needed smooth flooring with as few a transitions as possible. We went with Cali Vinyl Plus in White Aspen. It is FloorScore certified, a gorgeous color and neutral enough to go with most other colors. At the end of 2019 we completed a whole house remodel with a remodeling company. When we selected our luxury vinyl plank flooring, the remodeling company insisted that we use their flooring installers, assuring us that they were qualified professionals. Approximately 14 months later we started to notice gaps between the floor planks throughout the house, as well as large 1/4-1/2 inch gaps in one area where the floor meets the wall. We contacted the remodeling company and sent photos but they refused to discuss the issue with us because we were two months past our Warranty window. We were livid and frustrated. When we decided to get new flooring, Fabuless Floors first came to my attention due to their impressive number of 5-star Yelp reviews. After meeting Scott when he came to take measurements, I felt comfortable with him right away. He is so personable and he really listened to us regarding what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend. Although we got quotes from 2 other companies we took no time at all in choosing Fabuless Floors, not only because of the very fair price and value for what we were getting, but also because Scott made us feel so at ease. He was always quick to respond via text or email to any questions or concerns we had, both before the installation and throughout the entire process. The job entailed removing all of the existing carpeting and tile from my second-story condo and installing new vinyl plank flooring throughout. Abraham and his team of installers showed up on time every day and got right to work. They would check in with me each morning before starting to let me know what they'd be doing that day and to see if I had any concerns. I can't say enough about how helpful and communicative Abraham was. He was consistently responsive to any questions or requests I brought to his attention during the installation. My first contact with Fabuless Floors was through Yelp. I mentioned I wanted an estimate to have luxury vinyl planks installed in our home. Scott responded within minutes. We agreed to an appointment time. From that initial contact, Scott updated me in real time. Sending me with reminders of our appointment and ETA to my home. He arrived at my home on time. From that moment on, things went perfectly. He took measurements. Was very patient with all my questions. That same day he contacted me with the estimate. My wife and I had already picked out the flooring we wanted. Fabuless floors picked the materials up and brought them to our home to start and complete the project. Abraham and Gabriel were the professionals that were responsible for the demo and install of the LVP. What was very appreciated, the estimate included moving all larger items of furnishings and putting them back in place when the project was completed. Also they put furniture pads (sliders) under each piece of furniture where needed.They arrived on time each day. From the time they got out of their vehicles , they immediately went to work. That included painting and installing baseboards. At the end of each day, clean up was done. Most importantly, we had a bed to sleep in each evening. Also we were would told when they would arrive the next day and what they would accomplish and complete. From start to finish, the whole project was completed as promised. But Scott has the flooring business down to a science. I'm sure it happens in some circumstances, but with our project, there was no coming back with additional costs once they started. (And let me tell you, we were terrified with what he might find under the carpet of our 1940's home that came with the house when we bought it.) He'll tell you himself that he hates doing business with ppl who come back with additional costs, so he does his absolute best not to do it himself. His pricing was very competitive, only slightly higher than others bc the others "can't quote the work under the current flooring." But he was able to, just by stomping around. We did have an issue with our flooring option being out of stock but he works very quickly! Made some calls and got me an exact match from a different line within the hour. The project didn't have to be moved back at all! The work his guys do is incredible. Quick, methodical, and the finished work is beautiful. I have worked with contractors before on big projects but this BY FAR was the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor and their team! Abraham and his team laid the LVP floors and and did a great job! We are just waiting on some carpet for the stairs and trim (back ordered) and then we will be complete!
