    Pasta arrabbiata with burrara cheese
    Padmini R.

The food was excellent. The restaurant was very lively and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was buzzing with people even though it was a Tuesday. I ordered the pasta arrabbiata. . The sauce was nice and spicy, the pasta had the right texture.

Went to Fado's tonight dinner. It was very nice restaurant - everything was very fancy. And they have this huge 4 seasons room. And a Great whiskey selection. We got the lamb burger and the shepherd's pie. It was delicious!!! I got the truffle fries as my side - they are a must!! So good

I stopped here for lunch one day and tried the fish and chips. I swapped the fries for a salad though and enjoyed the meal. The salad had a sweet and tangy kick and the fish was hot and crispy, yum!

Was just okay unfortunately. Menu shrunk a LOT. The last time I was there was maybe 2 years ago. Good: there's a live music, very nice. Food arrived hot and nice presentation. Friendly and okay server. Bad: I'm not too fond off being touched by stranger (server touched my shoulder). Food on a cast iron plate on top of a regular plate, I didn't realize the cast iron was a "hot plate", wasn't warned by my friendly server......my fingers were almost burn (I stuck them in my ice water immediately). Taste wise....it's okay - not too impressed. Server returned once to drop a take out container, never asked to refill water for me or my friend's beer. Oh well. Will I return? Maybe not anytime soon, there are other options in the area.

Stopped by for happy hour - several discounted apps. We got the bay bites which were really good and pints of Guinness (good pours per the tilt test!). For dinner we had fish and chips and chicken cordon bleu. Fish was awesome and some of the best tartar sauce I've had. Truffle fries were really good too - more like potato wedges. Also got the cookie skillet for dessert, candle for our bday celebration (not a deal breaker, but we did have to pay for the birthday dessert, just so you're aware if you go to celebrate). Service was very kind and accommodating with our celebration request. We loved the atmosphere and have been for soccer games before as well, the bar area is the best.

Great place to celebrate my birthday. Excellent bourbon selection. Delicious fish & chips.

I went here during my work day for lunch... the server explained the menus to us and we got our food relatively quickly- now planning my office party here and Jana/ Alyssa have been super responsive during the process!

Yikes I tried. My favorite thing was the grapefruit refresher. All appetizers were salty. For the price I was disappointed. Date night date don't. Chicken lollipops.... Forgettable. Garlic chili shrimp extremely salty .... Bread accompanied inedible Salmon bites ok When you save up for the date night this was sad $70 of sadness.... Service was lacking and slow. Kailah May have been overwhelmed??

Second time eating here and it's decent. I was not "wowed" by the food or service but I'd certainly go back! I will say, the salmon was cooked perfectly. It was moist and delicious. Cold beer, nice patio- definitely worth trying out.

We roomy and high ceiling restaurant with visible ductwork so as you would expect noise travels well. This did not detract us since it is a pub and expected this. They also have several TVs with football on when we went. We did get seated quickly and were attended to just as quickly by a pleasant waiter. Proceeded to order our drinks. I ordered a Guinness Nitro Stout which was excellent. Wife had an Irish Coffee which she said was one of the best she's ever had. Raved about it all the way home:-) . The lamb burger was also excellent. Got mine well done and it was still moist. With the wonderful melted blue cheese. Topped with tomato, pickled onion, and arugula. Along with the wedge fries. Top notch! My wife had what would be considered more standard fare, fish and chips. But it was made to perfection. Some of the best cod around. Short of fishing your own. Great batter also. Along with the cole slaw and fries, it was a complete meal. Highway recommend this place to anyone looking for an Irish pub with authentic food. (Just saying this as someone who has traveled Ireland)

We wanted to try something new for brunch and then walk around the bridge park area. I love this area so much. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service was just enough. I really appreciated the waitress respecting we were having a fun conversation. We all got the Irish breakfast. It wasn't great. However, two at my table ordered the bread pudding and they oooh and awww'd as the enjoyed every bite.

Party of 4 decide to have dinner on a Friday night at Fado. We made a reservation for 6:30pm. We arrived about 10 minutes early and was greeted by friendly staff and we were seated right away. The place is nice and cozy. Good for a large group. As for the food, for the appetizer, we decided to get the Maryland Crab Dip for the table, which was just ok. For the entrée, since it was my first time visiting Fado, I asked the server what she would recommend from the menu. She said, "hands down the half chicken." So that's what I ordered, Brick Roasted Half Chicken. The food arrived promptly after we ordered. The portion size was pretty big. My chicken came with side of Brussel sprout and mushroom sauce and mash potatoes . The sides were good, especially the mash potatoes, very buttery. However, the chicken was just blend. Even after mixing the mushroom sauce, it was still just blend. Not sure if I will go back here but if I do, I will definitely not get the chicken, instead try something different.

I went to Fado for my friend's campaign event. There is plenty of parking for the restaurant. It is located across from the Dublin Link bridge. I just parked across the street by the Link and crossed the street and walked there. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. There is a covered and uncovered patio section as well outdoors. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is nice. My friend had gotten a lot of appetizer orders for everyone to try as well as desserts. For appetizers, we got to try the deviled eggs, chicken satay with peanut dipping sauce, stuffed mushrooms, and beef satay with sesame dipping sauce. My favorite was the chicken satay, it went perfectly with the dipping sauce. For desserts, we had individual strawberry panna cottas and bread pudding. Both of the desserts were delicious. Will definitely have to go back and try their entrees sometime.

I couldn't believe getting there 5 minutes after open at 8am on a Saturday that there would be a line out the door, but I can absolutely see why. I ended up getting the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich, which was really solid. Fluffy egg, slightly crispy bacon, and overall just really tasty. I also got a caramel iced latte, which was also quite good first thing in the morning. The service was fast and friendly as they kept the line moving and getting everyone their food. I think I waited all of 5 minutes or so once my order was in. Their interior space is also cozy and friendly with lots of wood tones too. All in all, a really great place to stop and get a couple treats!

As far as the coffee, we are black coffee drinkers and I can't say I'm the most fond of the iced coffee. The black drip is good. I got their new cold foam today and for me it was way too sweet and way too much cream. Couldn't finish it.

We visited twice for our road trip. For our first visit, we picked up a croque monsieur for take-out as our lunch at COSI: Center of Science and Industry. The sandwich held up well and was plenty for our girls to share. For our second visit, we dined in for breakfast and tried the raisin pinwheel, pain au chocolat, spinach quiche, and coffee. My girls thoroughly enjoyed their pain au chocolat and did not share at all. The spinach quiche was silky with a flakey crust. It is likely one of our most memorable quiches. The raisin pinwheel had a very delicate, caramelized crust with the right amount of raisins. I enjoyed my coffee but I couldn't finish a cup during our stay. Opted for the Croque Monsieur and my breakfast companion one of the quiches. Tasty - perhaps a bit more time to crisp up more of the insides. Coffee options were French Roast and Columbian. Took an almond croissant and 2 enormous yet moist macaroons. Clearly a good place for informal business meetings, something my colleague and I were doing as were others as well. Flexible indoor and outdoor seating and definitely can accommodate larger groups fairly easily. And abundant free 3 hour parking behind the restaurant. If I had a quibble, it would be plastic cups for the water that was available next to the self serve coffee and plastic stirrers for the coffee instead of spoons. The French just wouldn't have the plastic and this restaurant that is otherwise real plates and silverware shouldn't either. Wasteful and downgrades the classier feel.
