I spoke with John - no rushed phone call, even on a holiday! John came to my house within a day or so, again it was a holiday weekend. John reviewed all of options in detail - he was professional, knowledgeable, polite - everything you hope for when working with a larger expense for your home and don't know a lot about it! Leo (main installer) was amazing - hard working, accommodating, and very knowledgeable! Poor guy was in my attic, which felt like it was 120+ degrees, for hours! I did recently reach out for a for a service call out. I wanted to discuss a few other options that were originally discussed but at the time I waited on. Gabby took care of scheduling me - great customer service, polite, and considerate of my request and needs. Martin came out to address my later service call request, he was on time, professional and informative. He reviewed some options with me, and spent time answering all my "is this possible, and what if" questions (and trust me I have them). We had new carpet installed recently and he made sure to wear booties - so considerate. When you have situations in your home that need immediate attention, I understand the stress and time constraints you can be under to get repairs in a timely manner - you must reach out to this company! We had contacted a local company and, while the quote and scope seemed adequate, the plan for condenser placement was not great and I had sticker shock. So I went to YELP and found JL Martin. I am so glad I did! Jared toured the home, and came up with a great plan for a new system and was able to come in around 3K less that the previous company. I appreciated the 'out of box' thinking! This included working with the city permit process as well. The biggest hold up was actually the city acknowledging and passing the plan. Once that happened the JL Martin team scheduled quickly and the install was completed in under a day. The install team was incredibly respectful, explained everything that they were doing, and took great pains to be as unobtrusive as possible. They gave me the guidance on what to expect with the state inspection and city, made sure I understood what the filter requirements would be in the future and the city signed off within 10 days of install. I could not have asked for a better experience! They really work with you and everyone, from installer to office staff to upper management were amazing, responsive and helpful. They deserve all the reviews that encouraged me to reach out to them.

Apex will be hearing from the California State Contractors Board soon. Recommend that no one choose to do business with Apex Laguna Hills. I just received Johnny 's response.....he said he did nothing wrong, that I just don't want to pay him for work because a 12 month labor warranty is up. Two different HVAC companies that inspected my system admitted that they have had poor installations as well. However, both companies said they warranty their labor on a poor installation minimum of 2-3 years later. What's more, I received a most insincere "I wish you well".....Johnny promised to speak with his installation team about modifying a price to fix the leaking system. He never got back to me and that's why I canceled an appointment for APEX to fix my system......that's the truth, not what he wrote in his response. ......
