It must be a different setup during weekend as I was praying for a salad bar but nope. I miss salad bars. I was excited for today. They did have fresh bacon egg and cheese sandwiches however, so took one of those and a medium coffee. Sandwich was good. Coffee was strong. Later in the evening near 5pm the place was bare. I found a quinoa sirachi wrap that was ok and a bag of doritoes. They closed at 6pm. Again I hear louder ma'am ma'am. I turned around and a black gentleman approached me. I was holding my receipt in my hand. I asked what he wanted. He just stated you're all right I just need to change this paper. I went to a table confused and kind of embarrassed because other patrons were looking at me. Was he running up to me thinking I was trying to steal? He was just very rude to me. No kindness of any type. No explanation. No apology. On top of that my potatoes were cold. I did talk to someone at my appointment because they could tell I was upset and not myself. I have been a patient of this doctor for 30 years. It was recommended to me to go back and request a refund for the cold potatoes. I did. The same gentleman took almost 20 minutes to refund me less than 3 dollars. First, a woman came over and told them they had to "get up and leave." No explanation. When my wife pushed for clarification a "manager" came over and said the tables--of which all were empty mind you--were only for dine in customers and that they had to leave. On what planet would it ever make sense to literally kick out a family of regulars who are doing what they always do? And in a empty restaurant? Unreal.

Weird Dead End Loop: Behind this office building is a weird one lane-ish road that you can drive on that basically makes a parallel loop outside of the parking lot that encircles the office building. Not sure why that road makes that large of a loop around... like it could easily stop a quarter mile before it does and no one would be hampered from accessing all points of civilization that they need to access... but... I guess you could always take this road less traveled and see where it leads you. Maybe Narnia... Fillory perhaps? Who knows? So, anyways, a little hard to find but once you do you'll find that this little cafe is right at the entrance to the office building. They have an interesting eclectic selection of some pre made items. They have some small gifts and jewelry for sale. I was there early so I got a breakfast sandwich. Plenty of places to plug in if you're working on your laptop. The office building that the cafe is in services people with disabilities. I had to look it up as at the front lobby there is a large sign that reads "Service Source." The cafe is manned and operated by persons with disabilities and job coaches. It's seems like a wonderful environment to hone real-life job skills in an atmosphere that is welcoming, friendly, and compassionate. And not just that, the food is quite good. I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was real hearty with lots of egg served on sourdough bread. The cafe is comfy and clean, and was just a perfect spot to plant for a couple of hours until I had my first appointment of the day. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

I sent an email request online and was contacted by a manager via phone to coordinate the details. School lunch times are ridiculously early and the staff came in an hour earlier than usual to make sure our order was ready to go by 10:15 am. Is that service or what? Everything was packaged beautifully so it was easy to serve, and the staff was so impressed by the quality of the subs and salads. Platters were plentiful and guests were able to go back for seconds which was amazing. Two small recommendations for next time: 1) Make sure to specify that the dessert tray is properly labeled. There were a few items with surprise nuts in it which could have been an issue if not spotted. 2) The catering menu mentioned that fruit salad would be served with the meal -- we got a few boxes of bananas instead which is a bit misleading.

Not sure why someone would get mad that they were told to purchase something in order to get a spoon. Reading is fundamental. The potato wedges are "okay" but not something that I would say is a "go to" item. They taste like microwave food. I would rather have the chips.
