I scheduled an appointment online to tint my two front windows and had to leave a deposit to secure the appointment. That was fine because the $30 deposit was applied toward the cost of the tint work. We arrived a little early, and they were able to fit us in right away. The work was completed much faster than expected. After letting the tint cure for a week, I noticed a small issue with one of the windows. Paul told me to bring it by the shop, and he fixed it without any hassle. This is the second car I've brought to Paul and his shop in the last five years, and I'll continue coming back and recommending them to others. The initial issue was a small "spider" crack from something hitting me on the highway. I go through insurance, set an appointment for a few days later, guy comes out to the house, tries to fix it, makes it worse, apologizes, says now the windshield will have to be replaced, and my manager will call you by the end of the day. Two days later, radio silence. I call the guy directly (b/c he had called me so I had his number), he says to call Safelite, but there's no number except the 1-800 general number and no way online to connect to my existing case. I call my insurance company, they set me up with an appointment, but now I have to take the car down to Alexandria and leave it there. Ok, little frustrating, but fine. This is now a week and a half after the original claim was put in. 9:30 AM: I leave the car by the Alexandria location, am told it will be done by the end of the day. I am also told "oh, you probably want new wiper blades to protect the integrity of the new glass, blah, blah, blah, $70". Fine, if you say so. 5:25 PM: finally get a call, you can pick the car up now. OK, what time do you close? Oh, we're already closed, but we'll be here until the cars all picked up. Me: I'll stop what I'm doing, and call a Lyft right now. Manager calls back one minute later: oh, actually, your car's not quite done yet, that's why the technician never called you. Well, I can start heading down there, and it will be ready by the time I get there, right? Oh yeah, you can come by now. 25 minutes, I arrive via Lyft. Car's "almost done". 30 minutes later, finally they are ready to check me out. Oh, we didn't have your wiper blades in stock, so we're removing the $70 charge. Well what about protecting the structural integrity of the new glass and all that? Oh, it should be fine. So...you upselling me on new wiper blades was a load of crap? Because I'm not a complete jerk, I will say that the technician and the manager were very nice and polite about everything, I wish they would have been more honest about how long it was going to take, and I wish the company had not ghosted me (leaving me to follow up) after they made the initial problem worse.

Came here today and left surprised and very impressed by the speed and quality of the service…read more I had a bit of an unusual request in that my car had deteriorating windshield and rear glass seals. The glass itself was intact, but the seals were going. My request was to remove the glass, strip out the old seals, and reseal the original glass back onto the car. This is a very challenging job as there is a high probability of the glass breaking when the seal is cut and the glass is lifted from the car. From my research, very few shops will even attempt to reuse old glass. I was told it was probably less than a 50% chance that the windshield would make it. Knowing that risk I asked them to go for it and returned to find the car looking better than new! Resealed with the original factory glass. Honestly, if I hadn't paid for the job myself, I wouldn't be able to tell that it had been replaced. I also appreciated that they cleaned up all of the debris from their job. I couldn't be more impressed with their work. I recommend these guys if you have a car that's important to you, high value, or complicated. They will get it done and will do it at reasonable cost.
