That appeared to be just a temporary change, as they reopened most of the store behind it with new areas for the fish market, a downstairs filled with dry goods and candy, and new aisles for cold and frozen goods. Overall, I'm not sure of the current layout if it's better or not, but I do like having a full-fledged supermarket back on the block. Still okay on the prices, but you can often find seafood at a dedicated seafood store cheaper, and vegetables I'd still go down by the Manhattan Bridge. But still, not too bad.

I did pick up a ton of canned goods, which I then later regretted when I was walking home carrying all my goodies, but definitely worth it. And for 20% off, can't complain. Just don't go expecting a full service grocery store while they are renovating. I tried asking how long, or when they would be renovating.
