We stayed at Staybridge Suites for one night and had a great experience overall. We booked a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen, and it was perfect for our family of five. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and having the kitchen was a huge bonus. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a nice variety of options to start the day. Check-in was a little slow because the front desk staff seemed overwhelmed, but they were still friendly. The real standout was the staff the next morning at checkout. They went above and beyond by getting us ice for our softball games and providing bottles of water before we headed out. That extra level of kindness and customer service really made a lasting impression. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to families looking for a spacious, comfortable place to stay. read more

Friendliest hotel staff that I have ever encountered! The room was comfortable and had plenty of room for 3 adults. The breakfast bar was well stocked with hot and cold choices next to a roomy dining area. No need to drive anywhere to eat as there is a great bar/grill, and restaurants for Italian food, tacos, Chinese food, pho, and insomnia cookies in the same parking lot! My family of 4 (two adults , a 7 y.o. & a 5 y.o.) stayed here in mid-June. This isn't a bad place to stay, but for $225 per night I expected a bit more. Pros: - spacious room for 4 people with a foldout couch and separate space for the kiddos, while my wife and I had the main bedroom to ourselves - good coffee available seemingly most of the day - most staff I interacted with were friendly & helpful - if you are visiting (or have family visiting) UB North campus, the location is ideal, as the entrance is practically across the street and walkable from the hotel - nice selection of restaurants right outside the door, from pizza to Asian to pub food. The Neapolitan pizza place in particular is excellent. - solid fitness area with cardio equipment, free weights, and cable machine Cons: - Room cleaning offered just once every week. I didn't need daily linen service but it was surprising that no one even came to empty the trash the final three days of our four-day stay. - Breakfast was just okay. The fresh strawberries were the highlight. Real maple syrup and fresh-squeezed juice were not offered, and I found the eggs to have a bit of a gummy texture. - our stay was Thurs-Sun night so unfortunately we did not get to experience the happy hour which is Mon-Wed Again this is not a bad place to stay at all and at $150 per night this would be a 4 star review. But for the price there are prob better options out there. read more

I had a house fire so I have been staying at Staybridge since July 5th. They have been extremely professional and friendly. They are doing an excellent job of maintaining the hotel during that's crazy pandemic. The suite is nicer than most of my college Apartments LOL. There is a full kitchen stocked with pots and pans and dishes. I also love that there are washers and dryers on site and and even bigger bonus is that you don't have to pay for them. read more

It's not a cheap hotel by any means but it's very fancy and gorgeous and towers over the UB area, so if you want to stay around here and you want a really nice room that's very close to the campus and also even closer to some amazing food options - mainly China Taste but also Pho 54 - then you can't do any better than the Staybridge. It seems nice enough although you have all kinds of people staying here and hanging out in the doorway. But it is a good hotel, impressive from the outside, luxurious and relaxing and new-and-clean smelling inside, and if you can get a special deal online you'll feel like you've really lucked out because it is quite fancy and lavish on the inside. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My husband and I booked a weekend getaway here to rest and relax. Upon arrival we were given keys for a room on the first floor. Upon entering the room the pullout sofa was still open. We put the bed back into a sofa and started to unpack. We were then notified we needed to leave because the room had not been inspected. We asked for a different room since we still live in a Covid world. They told us there were no other rooms and we would have to return to the room after inspection. It should be noted that check-in is at 3pm and we checked in at 5pm. The room should have been ready. After a receptionist completed an inspection we were given keys to go back to the room. I'm not sure what kind Of inspection was done by the dishwasher was full of dishes. We were very upset at this point but had no other recourse because we booked with Hotwire. The room is old and dated. The shower was a nightmare. There were drunk men standing around in front of the building. It was loud and after turning my pillow over I found a brown stain. So gross. Our weekend away was not relaxing. We will never return and will ensure none of our family and friends stay here. read more

Home Away from home! This was our experience during a recent family vacation where we stayed for 1 night on the US side of Niagara Falls. Hubby & i took a little mini vacation 10 days ago where we stayed for 3 nights in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. We also had reserved 1 night across the border so we could do some shopping etc. with our kids. I have stayed at so many different hotels in Niagara Falls, NY, USA & Amherst, NY. This was the first time i ever stayed at any Staybridge Suites Hotel. I debated for days whether or not to make it 2 nights, not knowing what to expect. Let's be real, the Canadian side has an abundance of older, newer & new hotels, while the US side does not. Amherst, NY has always been a favourite spot of mine because it is 20-25 min away from the border but in the perfect spot for shopping & fantastic dining options. This hotel REALLY exceeded all of my expectations and the only regret i had was not booking a second night when i made our reservations. Check in was easy & quick. The lobby was clean and very modern. The young woman that checked us in explained the hours of the pool, free breakfast (included) and even added that there are evening socials that offer free dinner buffet Tuesdays-Thursdays. Which by the way also includes free beer & wine!!! At the front desk they also offered "Snacks On the Go". Where guests could have complimentary bottles of water, fruit (apples & or oranges), granola bars, fresh baked cookies & breakfast bars to take when checking out or heading out for the day. Our room was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom hotel suite with a living room with a sofa bed. It also included a small kitchenette with stovetop, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, pots & pans. There were packets of complimentary coffee & microwaveable popcorn! As an IHG rewards member they included a bag of Goldfish crackers (our kids were thrilled!) and 1 bottle of spring water. The room was VERY clean & comfortable! One of the best beds i've slept on in a hotel. One room had 2 beds, a tv and bathroom with a shower & separate space for a sink. The larger bedroom in the suite offered a king sized bed, desk with lamp, tv and the same bathroom but instead, had a shower & tub with removable sprayers. My hubby used the pool, which was open until 11pm - he loved it! Other amenities include: business centre, pool, hot tub, gym, free laundry room, bbq pavilion with grills & free Wi-fi. It is also a pet friendly hotel. The hotel is nestled in a plaza that has 3-4 different restaurants close to the University of Buffalo. Walden Galleria was only 10 minutes away, Fashion Outlets of Niagara 20 minutes away and Boulevard Mall less than 10 min drive away. There are a slew of restaurants nearby on Maple Road in addition to Olive Garden, IHOP, Friendly's, Tim Hortons, Tops Supermarket, Walmart & Target all 8-15 min away. And the Buffalo Airport is a 15 min drive from the hotel. Great hotel, convenient location & everything you could ask for right at your finger tips. Can't wait to go back! read more

It may seem strange to be reviewing a hotel 5 minutes from where I live, but my friend came into town with her kids and chaos at our house with plumbing prohibited them from being able to stay with us. So, it was party time at the Staybridge Suites. The rooms that they got were nice: a suite with a bedroom that had two queen beds and a bath, attached to a living room and kitchen divided by a breakfast bar. Breakfast was included. There's an outdoor patio area. You've got a pool and hot tub. So lots of nice amenities. The rate she paid was pretty good when you added her military discount. If you're visiting or have people visiting, this is a good choice. read more

Dirty, gross, old, worn down, and understaffed. Now let me preface this by saying I didn't come in expecting to be staying in the Taj Mahal. The price per square foot was very reasonable and the rooms looked great from the internet. I also read several good reviews about the hotel online and it looked good. That being said... This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Everything looks nice in the pictures but boy is this place a dump. We arrived around 4:00pm and our check in process went well. We were greeted politely and promptly checked in with two room keys and told about the amenities that were available. They asked how often we wanted cleaning and we said once a day was fine to freshen it up and replace towels and what not. They agreed that was no problem so we parted ways and headed to our room (2 bedroom 2 bathroom). When we got to the door of our room I scanned my key card they had just given me and it didn't work. We used my wife's key which worked fine. Inside the room smelled musty and the furniture was torn in several places. I wasn't really deterred by this so we unpacked and went out to spend the day with family. When we got back we started to explore a bit more and realized the carpet was stained badly and in many places. The main bathroom had what appeared to be urine on the wall next to the toilet. Thereñ was also weird brown stuff like brown booger consistency chunks in a few places on the walls. The dishwasher smelled like actual garbage and the dishes in it weren't properly cleaned. We of course, called the front desk several times and asked for cleaning but nobody ever came in two days. On the third night I went in person and asked for it to be cleaned so the one person who appeared to be working 10 jobs at once came up and made an attempt. They also explained that there is no cleaning crew like there used to be because they were all layed off so cleaning is really worse since covid. My biggest regret of all of this was taking the stairs down to the front desk because the entire staircase smelled, and seemed to be covered in piss. Like a dog just let loose on every step the way down and nobody cleaned it in a year. We checked out the next morning, 7 days early, and went to a new hotel. All I can really do is laugh about this abysmal experience. What the hell is going on at this place. Stay away. Absolute garbage. read more

This is my fourth time staying here, and sadly, quite possibly my last. It is the third time I have had to clean upon my arrival. Grimy fingerprints all over the kitchen, dirty dishes in the cupboards, debris left behind from other guests (today was a sippy cup with rancid milk), old chewing gum smashed into the carpet, dripped food and crumbs on the kitchen floor ... you get the picture. The front desk staff is always lovely, kind, and a pleasure. They really want to be helpful and seem to have pride in their jobs. They have gone the extra mile for us, which has kept me coming back. The lobby/ eating area is pleasant and has a nice community vibe. The breakfast is perfectly acceptable for a couple days. The facilities/ amenities are good. But the rooms are just too dirty, too regularly. What a bummer. I'm spending $2,000. It is not acceptable that I begin my stay cleaning up after strangers. And I feel so creeped out by the kitchen that I don't want to eat here, which was the whole reason I got a suite instead of a regular hotel room. read more

Let me start off by saying I travel a lot. Typically 70+ nights a year in a hotel. Staybridge has been a real pleasure. I've been fortunate enough to spend two weeks here and I can't recommend it enough. Everything from the room, location, and amenities have been nothing short of wonderful. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a really nice shopping center. It feels like the hotel is the center of a village. Of note are an Asian restaurant, a bar and grill, mighty taco, in and out pasta, yotality, and dunken donuts. Best of all, they are actually in the same parking lot as the hotel. As you walk in, the front desk is to your right with friendly staff and bar stools to sit while you get your room taken care of. Ahead of you is the common / dining area. This is where you enjoy your breakfast that is very nicely stocked. Fresh breads, daily rotating featured hot foods, fresh fruits, hot oatmeal, and yogurt to name a few. This is also the same place where on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 happy hour is served. This is where the hotel goes above and beyond by serving up a free hot meal and proving unlimited free beer on tap and wine. For example, last week I enjoyed burgers and dogs made on the grill with salad, potato salad, and macaroni salad while getting admittedly tipsy on the free molsen Canadian. If you continue straight you find yourself on the fenced in patio. There are patio chairs and couches, two stainless grills that are first come first serve, and even a gas fireplace. Nice touch! With the pool and hot tub off to the left and the fitness room across the hall you pretty much have anything you need here. Add the business center with copy machine and the game den stocked with board games, puzzles, movies, and books, and this becomes one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Last but not least, the rooms let you feel like this is home during your stay. There is a mini kitchen with a almost full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. The kitchen has everything you need in pots and pans, plates, cups, and silver wear. My room has a nice desk, and sectional couch / pull out bed, and a king size bed. The 32"ish flat screen tv swivels between the couch and bed. I had no problems sleeping here. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and give this pet friendly, family friendly hotel a shot. You'll not be disappointed! read more

I started my stay at the Staybridge in late August. The staff has been very polite and helpful. I receive mail almost daily it seems and they are very attentive. I seldom make it past the front desk without a smile or greeting, and if I do, there is a letter under my door letting me know of the package. Tim, Adrianna, and Heather have specifically been helpful on numerous occasions. Breakfast in the morning is more than a sufficient start to the day however I am unable to attend breakfast so daily I make use of the breakfast to go bag they offer. The social dinners are nice. More finger food than an actual meal but who am I to turn my nose up to something they need not do. Usually the food is very good and tasty as well. I'll update this review more as I'm going to be here a while. read more

My family and I just stayed here for 2.5 months while we were relocating. I have two small boys so I was nervous about essentially living in a hotel room. We had the 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and it was fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough. The general manager Teressa is wonderful and so is the whole staff. They knew my kids names, what the liked and were always welcoming. The breakfast buffet is awesome and has something for everyone. Every Monday- Wednesday night they provide a full dinner with wine and beer ( if over 21 obviously) free of charge. As a family who lived there for 2.5 months this was fantastic. The pool and hot tub are nice and the laundry room is big ( and free!). I used the business center many times as well. Oh I almost forgot the best party ( atleast according to my son) --- FREE COOKIES EVERYDAY! Stop looking at reviews and book this place now! read more

Perfect place to stay for my 3 day trip to Buffalo. It's pretty brand new and it shows. The best thing about this place is free food!! Free dinner Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday with free alcohol (beer anddd red & white wine!!), free breakfast buffet, and free cookies!! And of course free coffee/tea and also free popcorn in your room. I loooooove free food :) The hotel is actually located in a plaza with a bunch of restaurants and a sports bar. I have a friend who comes in from out of state a few times a year and her and her kids get a suite here. The room is good sized and def clean. My kids and I hang out there with them. The pool area just ok. I think the hot tub and pool could use a good draining and scrubbing. The bathroom in the pool area was also kind of gross. A small family staycation found us spending a few days here just to relax and unwind. The location is prime for being able to eat, shop or whatever you would like to do. The front desk clerk was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, efficient and a wealth of information. She checked us in quickly and made sure we were content. While there... apparently some young people were walking the halls and having a sleep over. They were a bit loud but that isn't a reflection to me on the facility. The room was very nice. It was clean anf well put together. It included all needed essentials. We stayed in a King suite with a sofa pull out. The hotel is dog friendly so you are bound to see a few furry friends. The highlight for my son was the breakdast. Many hotels boast about a buffet breakfast and its a bit underwhelming...this was however a great breakfast of waffles, eggs, sausage , fruit and much much more. Parking: free and tons of it. SLIGHT negative (nothing to warrant anything less than 5 stars though...): the food is average; for example, the eggs didn't seem real. This living rooms need updating. Clearly years of letting peoples' dogs gnaw at their furnishing has caused it to decline. The maid service is janky at best. When they did show up, they only cleaned one room in the suite. The carpet stinks. I killed at least three bugs and a spider in our room. We had to beg for towels and the breakfast area is just begging for a communicable disease outbreak. The beds were nice and comfortable and the staff was great but the rest was a mess. read more

Not a bad place to be when you're in a desert sort of speak - Amherst doesn't have a lot of flare so being in a hotel with lots of amenities and free services is more than welcoming - Free Breakfast- Dinner most nights - Beverages Hot and cold are readily available - Red/White wine or Beer on tap all day - very spacious lounge area and cafeteria seating - Free Business center with free printing and faxing - Free laundry- no coins needed - The staff is nice and the building is very neat - tidy and clean - if it's ever warm enough - there's a beautiful gazebo/walk out from the lounge - large propane grills - and plenty of outside seating to hold a wedding - the hotel is built into a circle of restaurants n a pub so you can walk if you want to get out a bit - exercise room - pool - hot tub - pretty much everything is within the hotel if you're not in need of people watching lots of laughs but hey the Blue Tavern is literally right outside the hotel doors if you like to meet n mingle or people watch - everything from IHOP to Walmart to Wegmans is in the adventurous walkers reach or the lazy day drive of 5 - 7 minutes just to get out - Rooms are very cute - comfy - pretty quiet - I'm a little extra I gave them a side eye for the bulb being blown on the microwave under light lots of laughs - petty righttttttt or maybe I'm just being a little extra princess Ken-ianna today - no river or sky line to see outside the window but I'll take that over highway noise or viewing the trash being picked up or a courtyard of noise when I'm trying to sleep in at 6am - being the #lupus warrior that I am - insomnia kicks my butt all night but I can catch a few zzzz's between 6-11 am sooooo that's how I tend to rate hotels - am I able to sleep? - minus 1 star "being petty" - I'm unavailable for their breakfast hours lots of laughs - hmmmm - sigh read more

Very standard hotel. Comfortable bed but pull out couch was horrible. Pool was tiny and not all that clean. Same with the hot tub. Both need a good scrubbing. The pool towels were the size of hand towels. Breakfast was quite good. Our sink did not drain well which was annoying. I spent last week at this hotel and was very pleased with almost every aspect of it. It is less then a year old and located in a plaza with lots of dining options, frozen yogurt and even a barber for the guys. I think the only thing missing is a beauty salon. The hotel itself offers breakfast everyday and all rooms have a little kitchen if you want to make a meal for yourself. Tuesday-Thursday they also have an evening reception that includes food, beer and wine. My favorite place in the hotel is the privet patio area. It was really nice to grab a beer or glass of wine and enjoy the fireplace. The front desk also has a big basket full of kids activities. The only thing I could complain about is I didn't feel house keeping went over everything as well as they could have. Other then that this is a great hotel. I would stay here again without a question and when traveling in the future I will be looking for a location in the area I'll be in. read more

My family just checked out of this hotel after a two night stay over the holiday weekend. I could not have been happier with the accommodations. We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a common area. The room was beautiful and very spacious with plenty of room for all 5 of us. All of the amenities were lovely - the pool and hot tub area was very clean and refreshing, and we much appreciated the free washers and dryers available for use. I had the honor of staying here while working in the area. I had never stayed in one and was blown away by how awesome this place is! The rooms are comfortable and the beds are soft, and the hotel is new enough that I wasn't having any problems with the HVAC unit. Slept like a log (baby's wake up every couple hours and cry for food). Daily breakfast with an evolving menu start the day off well, with a large comfortable eating area that is well lit and provides an excellent start to the day. Uponr returning it's time for a swim in the large pool and relaxing in the hot tub, before coming back down for the manager's reception and a bite and a drink on the patio in back, enjoying the fireplace and some fine times. read more
