Although it's ok we moved on for our 2nd night I was a tad disappointed we couldn't extend our stay thru Saturday night as they were fully booked. I am severely asthmatic and allergic to smoke so we always intentionally pick places that don't allow smoking on premises at all. We called the hotel directly and the employee was incredibly rude and immediately just transferred us to her supervisors voicemail. We left a message and then also called Hilton honors directly as we have status with them. They claimed that the hotel was refusing to remove the charge and there was nothing we could despite having status with them and staying at Hiltons all over, even the Hilton next door to this location on 3 previous trips. So be warned that if you stay here they have devices in the room that you're not notified of monitoring for smoke and these clearly don't work properly as neither of us smoke anyways. Also made us wonder and worry about other undisclosed devices in our room that may have been monitoring us.

Then throw in the train that comes around night and day. - Parking is $15/day. Really, on top of the $200+ a night stay in Yakama? Then the underground garage is tight AF, so good luck navigating your truck/SUV around the pylons. - Breakfast $12 - Almost laughable. It's a tiny table tucked away with some random pastries. I am in the area quite a bit and usually stay at the other Hilton or Marriott properties, but they were sold out the week I was there. If faced with the same option again, will just go to Holliday Inn.

To begin with, although the lobby is a bit dated, the inside is super clean. Our room had an updated bathroom, which was executed well. The room itself was also VERY clean, much better than some of the other CS we've stayed at. The location too, has easy access to eateries and wherever else you might need to go, thanks to the close proximity of SR 12. It's a 'no brainer' for us where to stay on our next visit to Yakima.
