Friendly service with attention to detail for how you like your pizza. I believe it was the owner who took our order and he asked us how we'd like it cooked. We prefer a crispier crust so he made it well done. When he brought it to us after it had baked we wanted it a little bit darker so he put I back in the own for get more done . There was lots of cheese on it. The crust had a nice chew. The edges were fluffy and the overall crust was crispy. The cheese was so thick that it had major pull! I had to hold the cheese with one finger when it wasn't scalding hot so that it would entirely come off the pizza when I was biting. The sauce was light and not overpowering. Pretty solid cheese pizza in my opinion. The Greek salad was simple with lots of tomatoes and olives A nice contrast to the hot pizza. Seating is limited so when it's busy you better eat and then get out. The dining area is simple. A booth and one long table for a larger group, let's say 8 and a few two and 4 tops. They ask that you not just hang out when it's busy so there's a 45 min limit in the table. I love that idea. You order at the counter and you're supposed to bus your table however after ordering at the counter. A nice lady came and took our dishes. I was getting my car serviced nearby and happened upon this spot. I remember seeing "NY Style Pizza" somewhere in the signage, so I had to investigate lol I was met with a huge smile from Nick as I looked up at be menu. After about 10 seconds, I blurred out, "'May I order a small pizza with pepperoni and half sausage?" I then saw the size was 10" and then asked to change it to a medium because I wanted to share lol THAT was a lie lol I could SMELL the previous pizzas that were made and just KNEW the pizza would be YUMMY! (Also I got extra mozzarella and that was not smart--just way too much cheese--so much, there were cheese rivers forming .) I just watched The Menu (recent movie) and if you've seen it, you remember that a gourmet cheeseburger plays a role in the climax, and boy did I want one after that! So I ended up here with my sister one day for lunch and all I could see was a cheeseburger special (we were there on a Monday) and had to get it. I never advise ordering away from the speciality of a restaurant but in this case, this "pizza shop" has a LOT of specialities, including the burgers. I LOVED this cheeseburger and it was everything I could have asked for. The crust was so good to go along with the toppings. We had half pepperoni and half supreme. I don't know where they get their ingredients but they were so fresh that I'm thinking about the pizza now and my mouth is watering. OMG this pizza was amazing. The wings were really good, but too spicy for my very mild palate. That's a me thing lol. The spaghetti, my lord, was maybe the best spaghetti I ever had. I literally tried to figure out the ingredients while I was eating. My son agreed with me. The spaghetti is outstanding!!! I had more for "breakfast" and I want it again today. Their Pizza is decent however you cannot trust their online menu prices or even the prices posted on a poster at their entrance way at the shop. Online it said Sunday Pizza was $15.99. The poster at the entrance to the shop said $16. 49. Okay we get to our Sunday night special one topping pizza at the counter to pay and now it's $ 17.45 before tax! When we pointed out to the manager that their price online and the price at the door are less his response was" well we have a lot of things to catch up on. " so I asked are you saying you're not going to honor the price on your website let alone the price at the doorway entrance? And he said no I'm not going to honor it. My husband wanted to tell them to go shove the pizza up their ass and leave but I was hungry so I said you're risking a bad review on Yelp and he just Shrugged. All I'm saying is don't trust their online prices on their website! And frankly they're not getting my business again. Ergo *no* stars on the manager. Ps. We gave 2 stars because the pizza had plenty of cheese which was good, but not enough pepperoni. In addition we did ask for "lightly baked". But what we got was almost Raw on parts of the crust in center. When you ask for lightly baked, every New Yorker knows that means it still has to be *baked*. Oh well. Service: This is my second time ordering delivery from this place. I wanted to make sure my great experience was not a fluke! They were prudent on the phone and accommodating in two ways. One - my new residence is on the cusp of their no delivery zone. Asked me extra questions to help locate me and approve my residence. Two- only had a $100 bill. Our food was doused in multiple cups of oil, we paid for fountain sodas and none of the dispensers had any flavored drink in them, the fries were oily but not crispy and unsalted. This is a 4.5 stars review, I can't help but give positive reviews for this small pizza joint. Honestly the pizza was pretty good nothing omg you have to come here, pretty standard but really good. The restaurant is in a strip mall, about halfway down, with CVS at the end. It's small inside and has interesting decor and somewhat of a fresh ambiance. But it's really what you'd think of when you hear the term "pizza joint." It's not quite the more formal atmosphere of Ledo Pizza and not as cold and unfeeling and without character as a Domino's or Pizza Hut. I ordered food to go on Saturday night. I ordered around 8:30pm for pickup a little after 9pm. However, when I arrived (around 9:20pm), chairs were already on the tables, employees had closed the kitchen, employees were ready with purses and coats and leaning on counters scrolling through their phones, and just about ready to roll out. But the door says 10pm is their closing time, which made me feel extremely unwelcome and that I was inconveniencing them, when I wasn't. The phone rang while I was there, and the employee who answered told the caller that they had turned off their ovens and closed their kitchen (again, it was 9:20pm). She told the person on the phone they close at 9:30pm. Maybe it was new store hours not reflected on Google or on their website or on their front door. After the phone was hung up, the employee made a comment about the caller and another employee uttered an expletive in front of (but not directed at) me. I was unfazed. Teenagers. What can you expect? I can only observe and provide an anecdote on Yelp. My food was not fully ready. One of the cannolis was yet to be bagged up, likely because they wanted to keep it refrigerated until I arrived, which is reasonable. I ordered a large 16" plain cheese pizza, two cannolis, and a baklava. The pizza was well made, not burnt, crispy where it should be, airy, and lighter than other big chain pizzas. The crust was thinner and tasty, and a side of marinara would have boosted the taste. Just the right amount of sauce and the cheese was evenly spread, not too much or too little in any one area of the pie. The flavor was excellent! It did not leave me feeling stuffed, and the large is a good size to share with 2 other adults. The ricotta cheese in the cannoli was thick and not runny but I made a mess eating it anyway because the pastry shell was crisp and fell apart at each excited bite. The ricotta was not consistently spread inside the hole, so each bite had a different taste than the previous. The taste was mediocre, nothing so lasting in memory that calls for a repeat order. The baklava was a good portion size for a greedy one person. It was flaky, sweet, nutty, and nicely packed and layered, with a good pop of flavor in each bite. It was fresh and served at room temperature. Certainly worth the $5, and I would order it again! read more

No, it's not Amy's or Pupatella but I grew up in an Italian family and in an area where there were a lot of excellent local pizza options and I was more than happy each of the 3 times I've ordered from Fairlington Pizza. I've only had the pizza and wings (also very good) so I can't comment on the wider reach of the menu. It appears to be a family run business and there's a warm, welcoming vibe in the place. They seem to value your business, and are friendly and accommodating. I've also had delivery and it arrived sooner than anticipated and traveled well.
