This place is a wonderful neighborhood spot. Wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Wings are on point! Actually, everything I've tried here is good. Game day chili fries (I think it's a winter thing) and pizza - really great. Service is fast and everyone is really friendly. This is the place to go for a drink or a meal, Solo or with a group. You won't be disappointed.

The finger is not for this audience, we were jokingly making a non attendee feel guilty. Haha

The meatball app was delicious soft meatballs in a homemade sauce with a slice of bread which also had a slight salted edge that just topped off the flavor! The gluten free chicken tenders too were amazing! Drinks were well made too. They were short staffed on Friday evening but all remained controlled nicely. Kudos to folks..everyone was nice even the guy delivering food and taking our plates away. Top notch. I'd go again for sure.

Wow. The food here is sooooo good. Everything we ordered was amazing. Burrata n melon. Watermelon feta salad. The bread was salty & herby. The handmade pasta was melt in your mouth. We wanted to go back but we were only in town a couple days

Piece out del Ray has mastered gluten free breading. They have the best gluten free chicken tenders, hands down. We came here on a Saturday night and added ourselves to the online waitlist 20 minutes before we arrived. When we got there, we were seated immediately. Service was pretty miserable, but I think our server may have had too many tables and couldn't keep track of appetizers, drinks, boxes, checking in, etc. Despite the bumpy service, would come back strictly for the tenders...or order pickup! Friendly tip- they're closed on Mondays!

Parking is free on weekends in the surface lot behind the restaurant. The service was great, and it was nice having many TVs to follow sports. I recommend the polenta fries as an appetizer. The pizza was good, but I wish the crust was slightly thicker; the front half was too thin and flimsy. Being able to substitute a topping without question made up for that.

My toddler asks for pizza nearly every single day, so after spending some time at the playground, I decided to take her across the street for pizza for dinner. The space is rather large which is great for families and large groups. They have high tops and regular tables. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The appetizers were good, but the pizza was just not up to par. My husband loves Detroit-style pizza so when he saw it on the menu, he had to try it. There was not enough sauce, the crust tasted like cardboard, and there was just nothing memorable about it. Piece Out needs to step up its game with Stracci Pizza and Jet's so close by.

This restaurant has a fun sports bar atmosphere with a welcoming vibe. The combination of outdoor space, large bar and small tables makes it easy to find a spot. The menu has delicious scratch-made pasta, pizzas, wings, sandwiches, and more. My favorite orders have been the Detroit-style pizzas and fries. Happy hour is from 3-6 PM. Tuesday to Friday, with drink specials and some tasty bites. The service is fast and friendly.

We stopped back in here and sat at the bar. The service was incredible, the happy hour was super affordable, and the food was great as always. It was relatively slow for a Friday afternoon, but it seems to be more of a locals spot and we dig that. This time we had a GF version of the chicken parm with broccoli rabe instead of pasta, and my wife had the watermelon salad. We will keep returning!

Finally stopped by and was super impressed. Ordered the slow-roasted artichoke app and a rose while waiting for our carryout order. It was slow roasted in lemon and olive oil, and served with arugula, lightly roasted cherry tomatoes, charred lemon. Fabulous.

We went as a group of five for lunch and had a positive experience. It's a newer restaurant and the insides is very spacious with large TVs for sports watching and booth seats. We got a Breakfast Veggie Pizza, Americana, and "Piece Out!" pizzas. Overall they were delicious but didn't necessarily blew us away, especially compared to other nearby pizzerias.

Found our new brunch spot! We usually come for dinner but discovered their brunch menu. They had a special on mimosas for $5. There is a large variety of gluten free and vegan dishes. There is a separate fryer dedicated to gluten free food. We had the pancakes and the classic breakfast. I'll have to come back to try the breakfast pizza, chicken and waffles and other items I can't have elsewhere (because of gluten). Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and tasty food. Highly recommend!

Just okay overall, menu, food, decor, service. Okay bar to watch a game. Pizza just okay, thin crust, no char, and just looks and tastes like a frozen pizza. There are lots of great NY pizza in the DC area; this is not close to them. The back room is downright depressing.

I expected longer wait times for seating and food, and I was prepared to be patient. However, what I did not anticipate was a complete breakdown in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Having worked in the restaurant industry, it was clear that the issues extended beyond the kitchen. A back-of-house "crash" of this magnitude is typically the result of broader operational failures, including front-of-house management. It appeared that reservations were significantly overbooked without adequate planning for the volume. On a day like Mother's Day, full capacity should be expected, and systems should be in place to manage that demand effectively. At a minimum, there should have been proactive communication with guests regarding delays, allowing them the option to adjust their plans. Additionally, basic service standards--such as keeping water glasses filled and bread baskets stocked--were not maintained. The serving staff seemed overwhelmed and unsupported, which ultimately reflects a lack of clear direction from management. During our visit, we even observed a large party leave due to the experience. I genuinely felt for our server, who appeared to be doing their best under difficult circumstances. Without directly requesting specific items and even ordering from the bar myself, the experience would have been significantly worse. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations either. The seafood pasta, in particular, was underwhelming in both quality and presentation--featuring minimal seafood and inconsistent preparation. At the price point, I would expect a much higher standard. The chicken Parmesan felt like cardboard and was just as thin. The cod with peas tasted exactly like the frozen cod I get from Costco. Calamari never came, which we had no idea about. No option to get anything else. If the restaurant does not have the infrastructure to handle high-volume days at a consistent level of quality, it may be worth reconsidering reservation limits or adjusting service expectations accordingly. While I understand the desire to maximize business on a busy holiday, the long-term impact of disappointed guests may outweigh the short-term gains. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as no guest should have the experience we did. And no we did not accept any free dessert, which I felt was a completely tone def to the experience we had.

My friend got the carbonara which was unfortunately disappointing, as it was watery, overly salty and the opposite of what a good carbonara should be. In addition, the carbonara had what looked like pieces of cubed ham instead of pancetta or guanciale, which really downgraded the dish. Chocolate mousse was a good way to end the meal, I would've liked less whipped cream but it wasn't too sweet, which I preferred. The Tortellini in Brodo, filled with veal and Parmesan, arrives in a traditional homemade chicken broth that feels comforting yet ultimately lands at an average note, lacking depth. The Suprema di Pollo con Mozzarella offers pleasant flavors of butter, lemon, and chardonnay, though the chicken veers slightly overcooked. It's always been our favorite spot, not just for us but also to recommend to visitors. However, in the last couple of months we've seen that many of our all-time favorites (Tammy and Tommy, most notably) have apparently been "let go" after years and years of loyal service. Not only are we heartbroken, but their loss is evident in the decline in service seen across the restaurant and bar. Truly, if Susan weren't still there I'm not sure we would have kept coming back in the last few months. Additionally, we've been bringing our now 10-month-old daughter to Landini's since she was born; she made her first visit at just 8 days old, and it was a celebration for us: our new daughter, our family, celebrating her arrival in our favorite spot in Old Town. However, we were told just the other night that we are no longer "allowed" to be at the bar with her--in her carrier, as an infant (and myself as a breast-feeding mother, no less)--due to new rules/policies implemented by the new management. Keep in mind that this is the same management who made the brilliant choice to fire many of the best people at Landini's (and also we have gathered that this new management was taken from the Cheesecake Factory...seriously???). No other restaurant in all of Old Town has this issue, and I think it's unlikely that we return to Landini's. By firing excellent and loyal staff, jacking up the price of entrees and drinks exorbitantly, and making it so that (local!) families no longer feel comfortable and welcome at a decades-old family-run establishment...needless to say, I hope it's worth it for those at the top of the pyramid and that they're happy with their Cheesecake Factory-level of service.
