Worst Chicken cheesesteak I've ever had, they place precooked chopped chicken breast on top of unmelted cheese on the roll.. basically Roll, 1 slice of cheese on each side of the roll and the dry pre cooked chicken on top of the unmelted cheese. When I called they said that is how they do it there. Ummmm we are in Philly, maybe take a lesson at one of one of the other thousand places around on how to cook this simple item. 13$ Update: I brought this back for a refund, the manager was alerted by the cashier to come to the register for a refund, guy came over while on his phone- didn't say 1 word to me, didn't apologize, or acknowledge I was there or say anything about what was going on. handed me money n slammed the drawer walked away. There are so many places near by .. do yourself a favor n skip the disappointment!

Hubby and I ordered a couple cheesesteaks from here on a Friday evening. They were pretty busy. Being our first time here, we had several questions that needed some answers to get a perfect authentic "Philly" cheesesteak. I ordered one with grilled onions, mushrooms, & cheez whiz. Hubby ordered his with cheez whiz, sweet peppers, onions, & mushrooms. We enjoyed our subs very much. It was very delicious. My only complaint is that the cheez whiz was obviously put on the bread first, making it the last thing we taste on the sandwich. I would have liked to have had three cheez whiz out on last on top of the meat instead of the bottom. Other than that, it was very good.

Food: One of the best casual pizza places in Fairmount. The slices are $4.90 and the portions are huge! We love the buffalo chicken & veggie toppings. Service: Super quick & friendly. Ambiance: It's like your typical local pizza place. Plenty of seating in the back!

House special pizza. Ready in 15 mins. Unreal and A++ on timing.

The pizza is good and consistent every time I order, but the wings were small as of April 2025. Their service is FAST and takes 15-30 mins despite their site saying 30-60. On this occasion, I was in a rush and (without mentioning my situation) I got my order in 15. Unreal. This is now my default spot just for how quick they are.

My reviews seems to be consistent. My friends and I really wanted pizza after the concert last night and this was the only place that was still open. Ordered a large half pepperoni and half cheese. All 4 ppl agreed it wasn't the best. Satisfied our cravings, but was not great. Fairmount Pizza is in a great location, open late at night, fast service and reasonable priced. Taste is eh

It's been a long long while since I took a gamble on this place again. I came with a friend over the summer and just ordered a slice. It was unremarkable and dry. Yes, I said dry. I don't know how that's possible when the problem is usually the opposite. I decided not to remark on it since my star rating was already the lowest it could be. I gave them a third and unfortunately final try. I got a chicken cheese steak and a turkey hoagie because I couldn't decide which I wanted more. Both were bad. The cheese steak was cut in large chunks of meat not finely chopped like most places do and the taste was not great either. The turkey on the hoagie was not good as well. Check my pic of the thick layer of fat on the slices of meat. No one wants to bite into that. Only gave an extra star for the friendly customer service at the window.

mega fries (more like potato wedges)
    Gloria E.

For the mega fries I got, the price was a bit high, considering the quality and size. Everything seems like you're paying more for the same thing you'd get at an average pizza spot. Haven't tried anything but the mega fries and dessert yet, but would still try the pizza and see what they do in that department!

Amazing pizza, super friendly staff...what more do you need! Oh, you need the chicken fiesta pizza for sure!!

Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: no reservations Return worthiness: yes! Eve awards best cheesesteak of my life--still thinking about it Highlights: - The bread: a soft long roll with sesame seeds was a delight I didn't see coming. - Meat: was lightly seasoned but kept its pure flavor. Most cheesesteaks have such bland meat so this did it right - Cheese: melty coopers cheese was perfectly mixed in. - Onions: just the right soloing if grilled onions mixed in to complement the meat but not overwhelm it. - Size: monstrous! You can easily share (but you may not want to). - Fairly efficient: even with long lines, put your phone number in the kiosk, can pay with credit card, and wait til you are texted to pick it up. - For the whole family: my cranky teen son said it's the best thing he ate on our 23 day summer East Coast trip (including lots of great dining spots around Philly and NYC). Lowlights: - Waits can be long and brutal in heat. We got lucky with a shorter line. - No seating: just an ordering counter inside so many are eating out on the sidewalk.

The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Cocktail prices and entree prices were very reasonable. They offer happy hour drinks and specials. Certainly a very good choice if you're in the area.

Probably order something different next time just to try more of the menu, but I'm getting that ricotta again no matter what.
