At this point my father has been forced to spend thousands of dollars on new drive lines, and lost over a month of income from doing business as a contractor. I want to warn anyone considering us this company, please find someone ethical. If Mike calls my father and makes restitution (return the drive lines, and pay for some of his loss of time) I will update this review. This should be criminal, but unfortunately it seems it is a civil matter. We are very reasonable people and my father was personally and financially hurt by this company. I went to check on progress & was told 1 stud & lug nut was stripped on a front wheel. I was then advised to have them replace ALL studs & lug nuts on all 4 wheels. My cost went from $1,000 for the shocks to $2,225 for replacement of all wheel bearings & fuel system service. I put my brother on the phone while at Goofy's to discuss this as he's had 30 yrs as owner of a tire shop & has replaced studs & lug nuts & knew the time it took. He was dubious about their price of labor & need to replace all of them. He then suggested I bring my van to him & he'd get it repaired as needed. I cancelled the rest of my planned service & paid for the 4 shocks which my brother later told me he thought were overpriced too. I will encourage my friends to compare prices before agreeing to have work done at Goofy's. update finally after months of dealing with them Patrick told me he was tired if my non sense and…read moreto contact his attorney. got the engine re installed after putting new freeze plugs in it. took the vehicle to get the exhaust done on it then took it to the tuner to get tuned by bob kellison in creswell he does fantastic work but after he fired the engine and went to tune it. the engine has bottom end noise. so bob shut it off and told me to come pick it up and patrick Cartwright won't do anything to make the situation right. so now Im out several thousand dollars on this engine and it will cost 2,500 to get rebuilt.. I would not recommend doing business with northwest customs in cottage grove. further more I haven't even got to drive this vehicle due to this engine issue its been trailered everywhere it's been taken.

I called and chatted with Dan who assured me it wouldn't need much based on Hyundai's published $60K service list. In the end, it was about $110. He checked her brakes and said they were in great shape and definitely didn't need his $450 per axle brake replacement service. She had previously been told her brakes were dangerously bad and needed urgent replacement. Dan could easily have told me her brakes needed replacing and made $450-900.
