Online ordering was easy and it was ready quickly. The quality of food was disappointing. I ordered beef fajitas for 2 and queso. The meat did not taste like flank steak and had a dry mealy texture. It tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave and not cooked on a skillet. The queso tasted like it came from a can. The service is excellent. The young man in the store was very helpful and because of that alone I plan on stopping and picking up meals again. The store is what you'd expect it to be for a little place to pick up food but its very clean. The food is good. My husband really liked the rice and beans. We both thought the chicken was a little bland but with all of the toppings that you can add to your taco it helped. The chips are thin and could use some salt, but the salsa is served hot and tastes good. You get a great amount of toppings, with the fajitas. Cheese, guac, pico, and lettuce. Fajita's for two will feed my husband and I couple of times. We both made two good size tacos and we have enough left over for one more meal. I recommend if you need a nice quick meal. We ordered through UberEats which gave us delivery in 15 to 30 minutes. It was here if 15 minutes. The only difference vs. going to your local Tex-Mex place is no sizzling platter. Some complain about the pricing but I checked the nearest Tex-Mex restaurant and fajitas are getting close to $25, so at $20 they are not out of line. Everything you would expect is included. Some say this is Fast Food. It is not. The trend now is to open stores for delivery and take out only. They are more profitable with a smaller space and fewer staff. The meat was decent , it certainly wasn't the most tender fajitas I've had and a bit salty. The queso was super thick and not very good. The famous tortillas I was so excited about(in fact I ordered extras) the flour, even warm they were horrible. They were very... I dont know how to explain it they were hard and yet seemed undercooked? They had a great flavor but every order I received was the same , very disheartening! OK, realistically, not a five star Michelin restaurant, but they deserve five Yelp stars for fast service and excellent food. My wife told me that she heard one fajita dinner would feed two people, and she was right. This isn't to say that I wouldn't eat more if it were put in front of me. I recall going to what I referred to as the take and bake pizza shop that was there for so many years. Awesome fajitas! Had the family meal plus queso and churros. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Everything was good even the guacamole and salsa. The queso is that perfect white queso and thin fresh chips. We are picky with our Mexican food and this place fully delivered the perfect mix of authentic and Tex mex. Tortillas that are light as a feather yet built to hold all the ingredients you'd ever want to wrap your lips around. Their chips are also light not dense, brown, and dripping oil! Excellent staff, very helpful, fast & friendly. Clean bathroom. Menu on the wall had writing so small I had to step outside to read the menu they taped to the front window. Had a combo beef & chicken for two. Adequate, but not excessive, portions. Rubbery tortillas. Steak and chicken tasted very good. Chips a bit stale. Salsa very tasty, a bit spicy - yummy. Expensive frozen margarita was quite weak - had to add tequila to it when we got home. This is a takeout place, so meat, chicken, beans & rice had to be reheated when we got it home. This would be an excellent place for someone who wants fast carry-out food, and also likes fajitas. Quite expensive for carry-out, though ($50 for fajitas for 2, with frozen margarita & bottle of diet Pepsi). I expect their catering would be excellent for meetings or parties. There are definitely much lower-cost fast-food Mexican restaurants around town, with good-tasting food, and definitely better tasting hot sizzling fajitas at sit-down Mexican restaurants in town, at a comparable price, but Fajita Pete's tries to be a unique combination of the two. For others it may be great - for me it just doesn't fill the bill. read more

From the chicken, beef, flautas, rice, beans, guacamole, chips, queso, salsa, tortillas and churros there is not one thing any of us don't recommend. Got fajitas through Uber eats, was not really impressed by what you get for the money. The beef fajitas were sort of rubbery but still better than microwave food. This is our second time going to Fajita Pete's. Both times we got chicken fajitas and both times they were excellent. The lunch special is a really good deal and it even comes with a drink. If you get the regular portion be prepared for leftovers, they give you a ton of food. This isn't a fast food fajita made in a lab, it is sit-down restaurant quality. The staff are super-friendly.
