We've gone here now 3 times & the service has been terrible each time , especially today. I ordered ONE kids meal + side of queso online for curbside pickup. I followed the instructions that says to call their number for curbside although I put my info in the order notes too. No one answered the phone , called 3 times . Then I texted the number they left on their voicemail machine. They said they still needed more time for the order (at 12:58) , order was placed at 12:40 , waited until pickup time at 12:55 to call/text. They came out with the order at 1:02pm but the order was incorrect & missing a side of sour-cream & the portions were tiny for the price. I texted the number again at 1:02pm to let them know I was missing the sour-cream & they said they would bring it out. 10 minutes had passed & I texted again if they would bring it out . They didn't respond , they finally brought it out at 1:15pm. The wait time was ridiculous for one kids meal & the missing item should have been brought out ASAP since my order was supposed to be ready at 12:55 & I waited an extra 20 minutes. I had a screaming infant in the car & just to grab food quick which is why I did curbside pickup. Overall , this place is overpriced for what they give , they do not follow order notes or instructions & good service is not their top priority. read more

Good deals sent through their text messaging system. I will often come here for a great alternative to Chipotle. The food is always fresh. Portion sizes are always filling. They also have ice cream, that I actually have not tried yet (but will need to next time). Guacamole is extra ;) but so worth it. This is a good stop for a quick lunch! This place is pretty interesting. I've only been once before, but I had a pretty good experience. Upon entering, I have to say the decor is addicting--it feels welcoming yet trendy. Like I could spend a little time hanging out, but not too much... you know, before I start pretending I'm cooler than I actually am. The sitting areas are all small but very cozy--kind of like a living room you didn't know you wanted to live in at your good friends cousins best buddy's uncles house. Of course, I wash my hands first. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good, so the first test was passed. My motto is; Always judge a place by its bathroom before you judge it by its burrito. Back to the counter I go. I ordered a chicken burrito and a taco. The burrito was a nice size and very flavorful--not too big, not too small, just the Goldilocks of burritos. The taco was street taco-ish and equally delicious. I've always said that Mexican restaurants are a hard sell for me since there are lots of pretty awesome places to dine. But this one? This one makes the cut. Welcome to the list, my tortilla-wrapped friend. The service was good. I felt welcome and was greeted with smiling faces--which is always better than being greeted with the blank stare of someone who's clearly questioning all their life choices... LOL The food was good, and the location was clean. What more could one ask for? Except maybe, just maybe, that it wasn't so far from my home in Allen. Long story short, I'll be back when I'm in McKinney. It's definitely worth visiting again, and you won't be disappointed. Can't go wrong at Nom Noms in McKinney. The homemade ice cream is my favorite and the burritos are my favorite and the nachos are my favorite. So many good things in this spot, I can't decide what's best. All I have to say is if you haven't been for taco Tuesday, you're missing out!! read more

The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. Going through the line was easy enough. Not being overly familiar with the food choices more labels would have been helpful. The food is a 9 the service - especially online orders - is a 2. The food prep line is so poorly designed as are designated area for pickup. No signage to help with any of the process - "Order Here", "Pick Up Here" etc On taco Tuesday expect to wait in excess of a 1/2 hr to place your order. Some of the younger food prep staff are very courteous and customer focused. "Owner and Mgr" get a 1 in customer service. So you can decide if waiting an HOUR for 3 tacos (produced 30 minutes after the promised pick up) is worth it. Not to me. We live 3 blocks away and we'll drive on by from now. Service sux. I frequently visit this place, there's inconsistencies with their food at times. I ordered the shredded chicken and it was very salty and other times it's flavorless, I usually take it to-go so I hate to drive back to provide feedback. Listen, this place used to be incredible. Was a monthly staple in our household. Food was flavorful, portions were big, and the service was always fast. Since they've turned over ownership/management, the place has gone down hill. The steak used to be my favorite but the last time I got it, it was dry, flavorless, and tough. During my most recent visit, I placed an online order and waited forever for my food to come out. The restaurant seemed to be ran by teenagers who couldn't care less about providing customer service. In all honesty, I don't mind mediocre customer service as long as the food is good and comes out quick. With that said, when I got home my steak bowl was missing steak. If I'm going to pay more expensive prices than chipotle, I should at the very least get the protein that I paid for. I will not be coming back to this establishment. NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!!! One of our favorite food stops during a recent visit to McKinney, which is saying a lot coming from El Paso - where Mexican food is prevalent! Ordered a couple orders of the Nomchos, which did not disappoint! The orders were loaded up! Unfortunately, we were hungry and forgot to take pics! Ordered a bowl too, which was also a hit! The location has a nice feel, they offer homemade ice cream that sounded great, the service provided was top notch and the food was delicious! This place is sooooooo good! Its a chipotle concept but the quality is *chefs kiss* I love their green chili pork, it's so delicious and tender. The nachos are good if you sit and eat their, same with the quesadilla. This place gets pretty packed during certain times. We LOVE Nom Nom's! We come here every weekend for our favorites: Burrito, Ground beef Nomchos, and a kids chicken quesadilla. We finish with ice cream--which they make daily--and have never left this place hungry. What we enjoy almost as much as the food is the friendly staff and the consistency of it all--we've been coming here for four years and they are consistent in their food, their service, and cleanliness. Went here for lunch today and this is not my first visit. However, today was the last visit. I've never been disappointed, all because I ask the worker to change his gloves. The worker had been on the cash register and then wanted to start completing my order, I asked him to change his gloves and he got an ATTITUDE out this world. Then I ask for ice cream he threw his hand barely opening his mouth saying it's over there. I kept calm and just shook my head. The other guy was just as worst who originally started my food and had to complete it, he started just throwing the guacamole on the taco. I will NEVER go to Noms Nom's again and neither would I refer anyone. They have just lost a customer behind this... So sad, because you never know who you're providing service to or what their position may be. That is a health issue. You don't come from the cash register with the same gloves to prepare someone's food. The health department will most definitely not approve of that, because it's unsanitary. read more

LOVE this place! The shredded chicken is beyond yummy and the staff is friendly and helpful. I had a salad and it was big. The salsa is great too. BUT....y'all.....the ice cream! After my experience here tonight i will never give this establishment my business ever again nor will I recommend it to any of my neighbors or friends in mckinney. There were 6 employees all standing around. A blonde white girl who i have seen multiple times before working the register looked up, saw a line forming for food and quickly walked to the kitchen area to talk to 2 other employees who were standin around doing nothing. There was 1 girl manning the food station and she was busy filling to go orders for grub hub or one of those services. She looked up once, said it would be 1 minute, then ignored us for 5 minutes. We asked her...excuse me are you going to fill online orders all day or are you going to serve us and the line that was quickly forming? She looked up , looked around, talked to the blonde girl who still did nothing to help and then said it would be another minute. A few minutes later we asked the girl again, are you going to serve us or get someone to serve us? Or are you going to continue to ignore us? Between the 4 employees that were all staring at us, mute, I doubt there were 2 brain cells to rub together in that place. This isnt the first time I have witnessed the staff's inability to do their job but it will be the last. We left and will never be back. Please take your business to chipotle, it's basically the same thing. Management, train your staff. Get rid of the blond up front as she is useless. What an absolute embarrassment. read more

Placed an order for curbside pick up. Called the number as instructed on the sign. Let the line ring for 4 minutes with no answer. All the while watching the three workers inside standing behind the counter. I went inside and asked why nobody was answering the phone. The first gentleman just stared at me. Another man came up, and he told me "we're busy, we can't answer the phone". I asked him how curbside pick up was supposed to work and he replied again only saying "we're busy". At the time there was one family in line. I'd hate to see how people are treated when they're actually busy. 5 stars for the food, 1 star for the service read more

Do not order online from these guys. Wish I could give zero stars. Who forgets to put the meat in a taco bowl? Literally was a carne asada taco bowl with no meat. On top of just accidentally forgetting the main ingredient of a $16 bowl, they forgot my guacamole while still charging $3. This is unacceptably sloppy and at least on the surface fraudulent. The staff here is so rude. They up charge you for everything, and you don't find out until you get to the register. I've been coming here since it opened up, but that's when the people making my mood didn't act like I was an inconvenience. Their proportions are smaller than they used to be, they're chinchy with topping, and as I said before - upcharge for everything. I can't give this placey business anymore. I've dropped $80 bucks there this week and met with eye tolls and a girl who talked to me like I was trash. There's too many local places that deserve it more. I can't comment on the actual food, but their ice cream is amazing. I was mad-craving some bubble gum ice cream so I gave this place a shot after hearing they have a bunch of delicious flavors. They did not disappoint. I love that you can order online and do a curbside pick up. My only regret is not ordering more. It was truly life-changing.
