This was honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. I called ahead and placed my order over the phone. The person who took my order confirmed everything, so I expected it to be ready by the time I arrived. I got there after 20 minutes and asked if my order was ready. He said "almost ready," took my payment, and then instead of finishing my order started preparing something else entirely. I stood there waiting, thinking my order was being completed, but it wasn't even started. In total, I waited nearly an hour just to get my food, despite ordering in advance. There was only one person working, and it was clear there was no organization or respect for customers' time. The owner clearly has no idea how to run a business. This was my first time trying Falafel Corner, and unfortunately, it will be my last. From the moment I walked in, I was completely ignored--no greeting, no customer service, nothing. The smell inside was awful, and the dining area was so filthy I couldn't even sit down--I had to go outside to eat. I ordered the gyro lamb plate, and it was a complete disappointment. The rice was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for hours--possibly even reused leftovers. I also got chicken nuggets, and they were so dry and tough, they honestly seemed expired. This experience was beyond unacceptable. I completely disagree with how this place operates and hope others take my honest review seriously. Don't waste your money here. The pizza was exactly what its name described. There wasn't much veggies or any other ingredients to balance out the pizza, so it was one-noted. The crust was surprisingly good though - crisp with a slight fluffy texture. If there was a battle of the meats, Falafel Corner chefs would definitely be the reigning champ. Their seasoning has such depth that I can't figure out their combo of herbs and spices, and has enough saltiness to bring out all the flavors. I got my usual falafel wrap and fries. With an extra pita, it is enough for two meals! The falafel is interesting and not the usual dry balls. These are full of herbs and quite large. I ask for the hummus and tzatziki on the side, as it can get a little sloppy. Fresh lettuce, onions and tomatoes round out the wrap. I like the crispy, thinner fries they use and appreciate that they didn't get soggy before I got home. It was topped with some delicious tzatziki sauce and was perfect with the chicken. It was just missing a hint of spice or spicy sauce. Last time, I noticed they weren't even wearing masks and gloves and the owner replied to me indicating that they do temperature checks but it's too hot inside with the grills to wear masks. I was shocked and informed them that you can still pass along the virus even if you don't have the symptoms of a high temperature - but no response after that. Nevertheless... My husband was craving a gyro so I decided to give this place another shot. We ordered via UberEats and delivery was fast, within 30 minutes despite selecting the no rush delivery option. However I was super disappointed, we ordered two of the exact same thing (philly gyro), and one came without cheese and sauce!! That's the downside of delivery... you can't just walk back in to the shop and ask for something to be corrected. It's blatantly obvious they forgot the sauce and toppings on one gyro, so they are really lacking in the quality control area. I won't be returning here unfortunately. Came here for lunch for the first time. With COVID-19, you are only allowed to order togo or dine out. They had two tables where you can sit 2-3 people and a few steps away, there's a short retaining wall that you can sit on too. I went in, ordered my food and sat at one of the two tables that was right outside the restaurant to wait for it. I waited, and waited, and waited. From where I was sitting, the staff can see me. There were no other customers and there were at least 3 staff working. Apparently, my order was ready and has been sitting on the counter for some time. The fries were overall good; the whole thing pretty much tasted like a philly cheeseteak. The meat pieces were juicy and had a rich grilled flavor to them. I docked a star because the fries got a bit too greasy over time; they got soggy in oil very quickly so much that I ended up not finishing them. I wished the oil was drained out a bit more and if the fries maintained their crispiness like the fries in sisig fries, these fries would be golden. Friendly, chill staff dudes here.
