came here with my friend to grab a quick bite and we really enjoyed it. i like how the interior felt very open with large windows for you to look outside. it also felt very homey. i noticed a few flies, but they didn't bother us. we ordered a hawaiian poke wrap to share. it was my first time trying a sushi burrito and i personally really like it. the wrap came split in half, so we were able to easily share it. despite splitting the cost, i found it to be a bit pricey, but i think the price makes sense for it being sushi. upon finishing the food, the staff was very kind and came over to help us clear our table. i found that gesture to be very thoughtful and is the reason why i'm giving this place a 5 star. overall, i'd come back here again. read more

Please consider this message as the exact opposite of a "complaint" (a "tnialpmoc", perhaps?). This morning, I was wandering around the Marina District of San Francisco mainly along Chestnut Street and came across a new (for me, at least, it had been a few years since I was in that neighbourhood) lunch restaurant. Originally, I was just going to step inside and take a look at the menu to see if anything peaked my interest. However, as soon as I approached the overhead menu, one of your attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly workers, helped me decide for sure that this was where I would be having my lunch today. First and foremost, I would just like to give HUGE praises to Hanna (the above mentioned "attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly worker"). I am the "multi-question asking" kinda customer and she was more than happy to answer my questions and in great detail. Secondly, the other worker that was such a big help and just as informative was Josh. Lastly, the Manager, Patrick, was also a great help and listened to and answered a few of my inane questions, too. Now, of course, the food was also top-notch and very tasty. I was very intrigued by the sound of Ube Horchata. I am a big Horchata fan and Ube is one of my favourite flavours. The combination of the two was just awe-some. I ordered a helping of the Tikka Fries. Also great tasting and nice to hear these potato wedges are baked and not fried (I think Patrick mentioned they are air-fried). Because it is right in your corporate name, I had to order a Wrapp for my main meal. I had the Island Teriyaki with Tofu. The wrapp ended up being so large (and also very large in taste) that I had to re-"wrapp" it to take home and will enjoy it tonight for dinner. I do not get to the Marina District really that often, but when I do, and it is near lunchtime, I will be sure to stop back in for another great lunch experience. read more

The space was clean but busy, and the service was a bit slow, though it seems like a newer spot so that's understandable. The manager or owner also seemed very helpful, which made the experience better. As for the food, it didn't disappoint. I really like the wraps at their Corte Madera mall location, so I was a disappointed with this visit. The staff here were friendly and helpful--even walking us through the kiosk ordering system, though we would've prefered using it on our own. I ordered a poke bowl from the menu, and he got the first flatbread wrap listed. Unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to expectations. My bowl was very dry--the rice was crunchy, the lettuce was in large, uncut pieces, and there was no dressing or sauce included. I had to ask for dressing just to make it edible. It also looked nothing like the photos on the menu or wall. The flatbread is more like a spinach tortilla. If you want to people watch and sit outside, there are only two small tables for seating, and one is awkward to use since the window blocks space for anyone sitting against the building. read more

very cute place . They had a lot of to go orders going. I ordered the Argentina chimmichuri with steak. Flavor was good but it was mostly brown rice/quinoa. The strawberry lemonade was great. I wouldn't suggest the fries. Loved the trio sauces but the wedges are baked but barely and weren't very good. The chicken teriyaki wrap itself was good. I did feel like the only person in the entire place ordering a wrap, seemed like the bowl might be the way to go here. The 3 stars is really for these really really sad potatoes I received. Very soft, limp, and soggy. The entire restaurant is plastered with photos of these awesome looking potatoes but it really was a disappointment. I opted for the tiki masala fries. No idea why it is that much more for a side of sauce and a little seasoning. I am a fan of the straight mayo with pumpkin seeds. Last annoyance is the 4% fee. Not even pretending to be for health care. Just things are getting expensive, we don't want to increase the prices do we are adding this made up fee instead to pretend we are not raising our prices. read more

Sadly I feel majorly catfished by World Wrapps' menu. There are so many items that were tempting on paper that I literally had choice paralysis. But based on the one dish I chose (the Hawaiian Poke with tofu instead of ahi), I feel convinced I wouldn't actually enjoy any of them. The bowl was utterly flavorless, comprised of 90% undressed lettuce that was in pieces too big to be mixed (though even mixed, the ratio of greens to other ingredients would be abysmal). While the other fixings were minutely better, they were also essentially bland, such as the tofu that could have come straight out of a plastic container at the grocery store. Other fixings were entirely absent (like macadamia nuts) and if the dressing was present at all, it was undetectable. It was an incredibly disappointing meal and I'm truly surprised they put this bowl forward as something worth spending over $15 on. If I hadn't done takeout, I would have sent it back. The meal itself is one star material, but the friendly service and customizability of the food gets it an extra star (vegetarian accommodations go a long way). He greeted me warmly and when i asked him what should I order, he instantly responded with a smile recommending the Samurai Salmon Bowl. I followed his recommendation, and to be frank, it was an amazing recommendation. The food came out very fast, and when I sat down to eat, Elvis was already there and gave me extra sauce.
