Whenever I get a salad, there's always a bunch of liquid at the bottom of the bowl. At first I thought it was just salad dressing (which they go heavy on, for sure), but then I ordered with dressing on the side, and there was still a ton of liquid at the bottom of the bowl. I don't know if they don't dry their vegetables or what, but it makes the salad quite a bit less appetizing. If you order at a kiosk (they no longer have a dedicated cashier), you can't pay with a gift card. This is annoying because they regularly have promotions that are only eligible for in-store purchases. Kiosk purchases also aren't linked to your loyalty account, which makes no sense either. Oh, and if you place an order online but don't have an account, you can't pay with a gift card. Basically, they make it really complicated to order/pay for your order. And of course, there's a 4% surcharge because hey why not tack that on? Deceptively, it gets categorized as "delivery or other fees" or some such thing, rather than "we're jacking up our prices but not showing you until the very end, after you've made all your choices." I have an allergy to apples, and I asked if the dressing had apple cider vinegar - she told me she would look, but made a point to ask me if I wanted any proteins as she was pretty sure they were all marinated in ACV and sure enough, everything except a couple things was in that marinade. I love that the tartness of the chimichurri balances out the fat from the salmon and beef. The brown rice and quinoa mix is the perfect base. It's a very satisfying and filling meal. I thought the pineapple mint drink was just ok, I don't think I'd order it again. The double chocolate cookie was too sweet for me personally. As a smaller person I split one bowl into two meals. My dad ordered the shrimp and beef bowl, which comes with different dressing and sides but he still liked it (he finished his bowl) and said he'd revisit, which is rare.
